Abstract

Social media is a digital platform connected to the internet network. Social media also plays an important role in facilitating community communication and access to information. Of the various social media that are popular among millennials now, Instagram is an application that can increase Arabic vocabulary. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the implications of the Instagram platform for acquiring Arabic vocabulary. This research uses qualitative research, and the type is descriptive-qualitative. The data collection techniques used are documentation and interviews. Based on the results of the research analysis, it can be concluded that Instagram is the most popular account for acquiring Arabic vocabulary, supported by three features: feeds, Instagram stories, and reels, which can have significant implications because Instagram has provided a lot of Arabic content that can be used as material for learning Arabic, especially vocabulary. The availability of Arabic content can make it easier for Arabic learners to add relatively new vocabulary, and it can be accessed anytime and anywhere. This research implies that it can provide information to the public, especially educational practitioners. This research can provide information that, in the activity of obtaining vocabulary, can be easily found anywhere and anytime, especially through Instagram social media. Instagram can provide benefits by providing information in the form of vocabulary, which can make it easier for Arabic language learners to acquire new vocabulary

Abstract

This research aims to describe the management of extracurricular programs in madrasas, how the planning of extracurricular programs is carried out, and the organization, implementation, and evaluation of Arabic language programs in madrasah.  This research uses a qualitative approach of case study type.  The research subject was Madrasah Aliyah AL-Rosyid Bojonegoro, Indonesia, in 2024. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used Milles and Huberman's model through three stages: condensation, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the management is made through stages, namely needs analysis and compiling a work program (PROKER), which is prepared every semester in the form of extracurricular time allocations, activity schedules and materials. Organizing in the form of creating an organizational structure along with their respective roles to support running the madrasah/school extracurricular program. Program implementation involves activities such as intensive training for extracurricular coaches, class visits to observe and provide direct feedback, and effective communication patterns between students and teachers. Extracurricular programs at MA Al Rosyid are divided into diniyah as a continuous extracurricular program and periodic extracurricular programs such as muhadharah training and Arabic MC training. Several evaluations are conducted, and daily evaluations focus on achieving daily learning objectives and providing immediate feedback. Weekly evaluation involves assessing student progress in language skills and adapting teaching methods as needed. Monthly evaluations include a thorough reflection on the effectiveness of the program and an improvement plan. Annual evaluations aim to assess the program's overall impact on students' Arabic language proficiency and the achievement of long-term goals.

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini ialah untuk mendeskripsikan desain penerapan strategi PQ4R dan implikasi PQ4R untuk penguatan reading comprehension pada mahasiswa Intensif bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis field research. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi mengenai proses pembelajaran maharah qira’ah dengan strategi PQ4R pada saat pembelajaran, dan dokumentasi terkait perencanaan pembelajaran dan hasil evaluasi dari tugas mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menyoroti 2 hal. Pertama, sebelum menerapkan pembelajaran maharah qira’ah dosen merancang pembelajaran terlebih dahulu dengan membuat desain pembelajaran secara bertahap mencakup Preview (membaca selintas), Question (menanya), Read (membaca), Reflect (refleksi), Recite (mengingat) and Review (mengulang kembali). Kedua, implikasi PQ4R dalam penguatan reading comprehension mahasiswa dapat dieksplorasi beriringan dengan kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas, yaitu dengan menerapkan beberapa tahap, berupa Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite and Review, yang merupakan sebuah teknik memahami teks bacaan dengan proses yang bertahap, hal ini berdampak membantu memicu daya ingat yang kuat, dapat membantu menyerap intisari bacaan yang dibacanya dan memperoleh sesuatu dari kegiatan membaca yang dilakukannya, dapat membantu mahasiswa memahami materi qira’ah dengan bertahap, terutama terhadap materi-materi yang lebih sukar dan membantu mahasiswa untuk berkonsentrasi lebih lama dalam memahami teks.

Abstract

وجدت المشاكل في تعليم اللغة العربية خاصة في تعليم مهارة القراءة في نقص إتقان قراءة النص وفهمه. ولذلك أراد الباحث أن يجرب الإبتكار الجديد لتحسين التعليم بتجريب الوسيلة الحديثة. بحث هذا البحث فعالية تطبيق نموذج التعلم القائم على الموقع الإلكتروني (Web-Based Learning) باستعمال وسيلة لينكتري (linktree) لترقية مهارة القراءة لطلاب الفصل السابع بالمدرسة المتوسطة الإسلامية الحكومية 1 سورابايا. استخدمت هذه الدراسة بطريقة الكمية بنوع تجريبية تصميم pre eksperimen (one group pre-post test). استخدام طريقة جمع البيانات القائمة على الملاحظة والمقابلات والتوثيق والاختبار للحصول على البيانات استخدام رمز المقارنة  (T-Test)لتحليل البيانات.تم الحصول على نتائج التحليل  أكبر من  1،309> 12,21< 1،695. فكانت الفرضية الفصلية المردودة والفرضية البدلية المقبولة. لذلك هذا البحث يظهر أن هناك فعالية في تطبيق نموذج التعلم القائم على الموقع الإلكتروني (Web-Based Learning) باستعمال وسيلة لينكتري (linktree) لترقية مهارة القراءة لطلاب الفصل السابع بالمدرسة المتوسطة الإسلامية الحكومية 1 سورابايا.

Abstract

Understanding Arabic academic texts often poses a challenge for students, particularly when the material contains complex structures. This study contributes novelty by applying the Focus Group Discussion method in teaching maharah qirāʾah through the study of Dalīl ʿAmal fī Iʿdād al-Mawādd by Rusdy Ahmad Thuʾaimah in an Islamic higher education context. The research aims to describe the implementation of FGD in understanding the book Dalīl ʿAmal fī Iʿdād al-Mawādd by Rusdy Ahmad Thuʾaimah. The subjects of this study were lecturers and postgraduate students of Arabic Language Education at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang during the 2023/2024 academic year. Data were collected through participatory observation over one semester, interviews with ten students, and documentation related to the textbook and instructional design. Data analysis employed the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model. The results of this study reveal that the implementation of FGD in understanding Dalīl ʿAmal fī Iʿdād al-Mawādd was carried out in three stages: first, preparation, including group division and role assignment; second, implementation, consisting of presentations, discussions, question and answer; and third, conclusion, involving a summary of results and lecturer feedback. This process encouraged students not only to engage in individual reading but also to exchange understandings and construct meaning collectively. Supporting factors included the relevance of participants’ backgrounds, the systematic structure of the book, and the role of the facilitator, while inhibiting factors comprised differences in Arabic proficiency levels, time constraints, and limited participant preparation.

Abstract

The focus of learning has been primarily on memorization of mufrodat, leaving students with little opportunity for writing practice. The Think Pair Share strategy encourages all students to actively participate in writing activities, which not only strengthens memorization but also encourages students to actively use vocabulary in their writing. The purpose of this research is to measure the effectiveness of the Think Pair Share strategy in improving writing skills at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Batu. This research uses a quantitative method with a Quasi-Experimental design and a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of 64 eighth-grade students from MTsN Kota Batu, with 32 students in the experimental group and 32 students in the control group. Data collection was conducted using observation, interviews, and tests. Data analysis techniques used normality tests, homogeneity tests, followed by hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample T-Test. The research results showed that the use of the Think Pair Share strategy was effective in improving the writing skills of eighth-grade students at MTsN Kota Batu. Based on hypothesis testing using the independent t-test, a significance value of 0.000 was obtained, which is less than 0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Including: increasing students' thinking ability, providing thinking time to improve the quality of students' responses, making students more active in thinking about concepts in the subject matter, students having a better understanding of the concepts of the lesson topics during discussions, students being able to learn from other students, and every student in the group having the opportunity to share or convey their ideas.   Keywords: Strategy, Think Pair Share, Writing Skills

Abstract

ملخص البحث: عنصر مهم لإتقان اللغة العربية هو المفردات. نقص إتقان المفردات سيعيق مهارات اللغة العربية. نموذج تعلم اللغة هو في الأساس عنصر مهم جدا في مساعدة المتعلمين على فهم عملية تعلم المفردات العربية. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد الآثار المترتبة على تطبيق نموذج التعلم لجيروم برونر باستخدام وسيلة بصرية "Flash Card" في تعلم المفردات. الطريقة المستخدمة في هذه الدراسة هي طريقة وصفية نوعية مع نوع دراسة الحالة الآلية (أداة دراسة الحالة الآلية). يتم تنفيذ تقنيات جمع البيانات باستخدام الملاحظة والتوثيق وتحليل البيانات. يتم إعطاء التعرض للبيانات في شكل أوصاف. الهدف من هذا البحث هو تلاميذ الصف 5 من المدرسة الإبتدائية الإسلامية المتحدة SD IT القسوة مدينة بنجكولو. نتائج هذه الدراسة هي 1) يتم تنفيذ مفهوم نموذج برونر في هذه الدراسة من خلال ثلاث مراحل من النشاط، وهي المرحلة النشطية، الأيقونية والرمزية. 2) من خلال تطبيق نظرية التعلم برونر من خلال وسائط بطاقة فلاش يمكن أن تساعد عملية التعلم للطلاب في تعلم المفردات العربية. باستخدام أشياء ملموسة، يصبح المتعلمون أكثر اهتماما بالتعلم وأكثر نشاطا. 3) فوائد الأشياء الملموسة من خلال وسائط بطاقة الفلاش للمعلمين كمبدأ توجيهي لتحقيق أهداف التعلم الجيدة، لزيادة الاهتمام والتشجيع في التعلم، والفوائد للطلاب، يمكن أن يساعد تصور الأشياء الملموسة من خلال الصور على أن يصبح التعلم أكثر واقعية، مما يجعل التعلم أكثر قابلية للهضم من قبل الطلاب. ومن الآثار المترتبة على هذا البحث أنه يمكن أن يوفر مفاهيم لعالم التعليم، لتوفير خيار تعليمي يمكن أن ينمي فهم الطلاب في تعلم المفردات العربية. الكلمة المفتاحية: نموذج التعلم برونر، Flash Card، المفردات. Abstrak: Elemen penting untuk menguai bahasa Arab adalah kosa kata. Minimnya penguasaan kosa kata akan menghambat keterampilan bahasa Arab. Model pembelajaran bahasa pada dasarnya menjadi elemen yang sangat penting dalam membantu peserta didik memahami proses pembelajaran kosa kata bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implikasi dari implementasi model belajar Jerome Bruner dengan media bashariyah Flash Card dalam pembelajaran kosa kata. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis studi kasus instrumental (instrumen case study). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan cara observasi, dokumentasi dan analisis data. Pemaparan data diberikan dalam bentuk deskripsi. Objek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas 5 SD IT Al Qiswah Kota Bengkulu. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah 1) konsep model Bruner dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan kegiatan yaitu tahap (enaktif), tahap (ikonik) dan tahap (simbolik). 2) Dengan menerapkan teori belajar Bruner melalui media Flash Card dapat membantu proses belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran kosa kata bahasa Arab. Dengan menggunakan benda konkret, peserta didik menjadi lebih tertarik untuk belajar dan lebih aktif. 3) Manfaat benda konkret melalui media Flash Card untuk guru sebagai pedoman mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang berkualitas, untuk meningkatkan minat dan dorongan belajar, dan manfaat bagi siswa, visualisasi benda konkret melalui gambar dapat membantu pembelajaran menjadi lebih nyata, membuat pembelajaran lebih mudah dicerna oleh peserta didik. Implikasi dari penelitian ini ialah dapat memberikan konsep bagi dunia pendidikan, uuntuk memberikan sebuah opsi pembelajaran yang dapat menumbuh kembangkan pemahaman siswa dalam pembelajaran kosa kata bahasa Arab. Kata Kunci : Model Belajar Bruner, Flash Card, Kosa Kata Abstract: An important element to mastering Arabic is vocabulary. Lack of vocabulary mastery will hinder Arabic language skills. The language learning model is basically a very important element in helping learners understand the process of learning Arabic vocabulary. This study aims to determine the implications of the implementation of Jerome Bruner's learning model with bashariyah Flash Card media in vocabulary learning. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method with the type of instrumental case study (instrumental case study instrument). Data collection techniques are carried out using observation, documentation and data analysis. Data exposure is given in the form of descriptions. The object of this research is grade 5 students of SD IT Al Qiswah Bengkulu City. The results of this study are 1) Bruner's model concept in this study is carried out through three stages of activity, namely stage (enactive), stage (iconic) and stage (symbolic). 2) By applying Bruner's learning theory through Flash Card media can help the learning process of students in learning Arabic vocabulary. By using concrete objects, learners become more interested in learning and more active. 3) The benefits of concrete objects through Flash Card media for teachers as a guideline for achieving quality learning goals, to increase interest and encouragement in learning, and benefits for students, visualization of concrete objects through pictures can help learning become more real, making learning more digestible by students. The implication of this research is that it can provide concepts for the world of education, to provide a learning option that can grow students' understanding in learning Arabic vocabulary. Abstract

riting instruction in Arabic often faces various challenges, such as low student motivation, limited vocabulary, and a lack of ability to develop ideas in written form. These conditions make the learning process less effective and result in suboptimal student writing performance. Therefore, it is necessary to apply a cooperative learning strategy such as Think-Pair-Share as an alternative to enhance students’ participation and writing skills through collaboration. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the Think-Pair-Share strategy in teaching maharah al-kitābah (writing skills). The subjects of this study were eighth grade students of State Islamic Junior High School of Batu. Data collection techniques included observation, unstructured interviews with ten students, and documentation related to the main Arabic textbook. The data analysis technique employed the flow model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, which consists of data condensation, data display, and verification. The results of the study show that the use of the Think-Pair-Share strategy in maharah al-kitābah consists of five steps: (1) Introduction, the teacher divides students into several groups; (2) Think, students answer questions individually and write them on worksheets; (3) Pair, students discuss their answers in groups and write the best group answer on the worksheet; (4) Share, students present the group’s work on the board, which is then commented on by other groups; and (5) Closing, the teacher provides feedback by clarifying, correcting, and concluding the correct answers from each group’s discussion. Thus, the use of this strategy not only emphasizes the collaborative aspect but also integrates critical thinking and individual reflection processes before writing.
