Abstract

Agama dan budaya memiliki relasi yang kompleks dalam masyarakat, yang kadang-kadang saling melengkapi dan kadang-kadang bertentangan. Agama dan budaya, sebagai entitas primitif, saling mempengaruhi dan membentuk identitas serta nilai-nilai dalam suatu komunitas. Dalam konteks Indonesia, agama Parmalim, sebagai bagian dari budaya suku Batak di Sumatera Utara, tetap eksis meskipun terpapar oleh arus globalisasi dan modernisasi. Penelitian ini menjelaskan bagaimana kepercayaan Parmalim berinteraksi dengan dinamika sosial, politik, dan agama di Indonesia, serta bagaimana masyarakat mempertahankan identitas budaya mereka dalam menghadapi tekanan modernisasi. Meskipun tidak diakui secara resmi oleh pemerintah, Parmalim tetap menjadi bagian integral dari identitas suku Batak. Namun, mereka mengalami krisis eksistensial dan keterasingan dari masyarakat karena perbedaan antara ajaran agama resmi dan tradisional. Meskipun demikian, upaya untuk mempertahankan kepercayaan dan tradisi Parmalim masih berlanjut, dengan memadukan ajaran agama resmi sebagai identitas administratif. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran tentang hubungan dinamis antara agama, budaya, dan identitas nasional di Indonesia, serta pentingnya menghormati dan melindungi keberagaman agama dan budaya tanpa diskriminasi.

Abstract

Perilaku bullying telah menjadi permasalahan yang serius di lingkungan sekolah. Sebuah studi internasional terhadap 120.000 siswa di 28 sekolah pada tahun 1997-1998 menemukan bahwa 20% anak di bawah usia 15 tahun dilaporkan mengalami perundungan di sekolah. Bullying dapat membuat siswa merasa sakit hati, yang dapat membuat korban merasa tidak diperlukan. Keadaan ini mau tidak mau berdampak negatif terhadap beberapa kegiatan siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas penyuluhan mengenai kesadaran hukum tentang  tindakan bullying. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa sekolah BPK Penabur yang berjumlah 200 orang. Tujuan dari penyuluhan ini adalah untuk mengatasi dan mencegah bullying di sekolah yang seringkali tidak terencana dengan baik dan respon yang ada hanya mencakup pendekatan individual yang dilaksanakan guru kelas, guru kewarganegaraan dan konselor. Atas dasar itulah kegiatan penyuluhan ini dilakukan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to learn more about the use and impact of the school principal's spiritual leadership approach in raising teacher caliber in Islamic boarding schools. This study collected data using descriptive methods and a qualitative approach. Purfocefull technique is used by the sampling technique to obtain data. The Sabiilunnaja Islamic Boarding School in Bandung, West Java, served as the research site for this project. The findings of this study provided information on the spiritual leadership model that the principal of the Sabiilunnaja Islamic Boarding School in Bandung uses in schools to raise teacher quality. The research suggests that if this spiritual leadership model is used in schools, it can enhance leadership, which has implications for enhancing education and reaching predetermined objectives

Abstract

Global injustice and inequality are problems related to the unequal distribution of resources and opportunities throughout the world. This causes a large number of people and countries to have limitations in achieving their potential. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare prospective citizens who are ready to face changes in the order of life in the country. Education is expected to be able to overcome the country's problems, especially injustice, and inequality. In building global insight and forming good global citizens, there are basic values contained in civic education. This value is the goal and foundation for the development of civics education. By using qualitative research methods through literature studies, the authors try to examine how important the role of civics education is in addressing global injustice and inequality. This research was conducted through several stages including collecting library data, taking notes, reviewing data sources, and processing information. The conclusion from this study is that it is important to involve the integration of civics education in the education system, focus on practical skills, community participation, research and innovation support, and building international alliances. Civic education also helps build a culture of tolerance and reinforces values of social solidarity to help eradicate discrimination and promote equality.

Abstract

Civic education serves as a crucial foundation for students' character building, particularly in fostering their understanding of democratic principles. With the advancement of technology, digital literacy has become an essential element that significantly enhances student engagement in democracy. This study aimed to investigate the impact of digital literacy implementation in civic education across three schools in Bandung: SMA Negeri 11, SMA Negeri 22, and SMK Negeri 14. The research involved three civic education teachers, three IT staff, and nine students from these schools as participants. The methodology adopted was qualitative, utilizing data collection techniques such as observations, interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed that integrating digital literacy in civic education at SMA Negeri 11, SMA Negeri 22, and SMK Negeri 14 positively influenced students' participation in democratic activities. However, the results indicated that significant improvements were not achieved across all indicators, particularly in creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. The study suggests that while digital literacy has the potential to enhance civic education, further efforts are required to optimize its benefits comprehensively. Overall, the research highlights the need for innovative approaches to effectively integrate digital literacy in civic education to foster a more engaged and democratically active student body.
