Abstract

This study aims to improve the locomotor movement ability in grade VI SDN Bubutan 4 Surabaya with the application of games, The problem is that students in grade VI B still have difficulties in locomotive movement, In cycle 1 using the application of games such as relay games and jumping rope, data is collected through direct observation and assessment of student skills before and after the implementation of the activity, analysis shows that some students still do not show significant improvement in locomotor movement ability, In cycle 2 the game is simplified. The results of the analysis showed that the improvement of locomotor movement ability became more consistent across all groups of students. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the game method is effective in improving locomotor movement skills in grade VI B SDN Bubutan 4 Surabaya. Classroom action research (PTK) with Cycle I and Cycle II. The subject of this study is 32 students of class VI B SD Negeri 4 Bubutan, the application of the game aims to improve the locomotor motion of students in class VI B SD Negeri 4 Bubutan. From the results of the Implementation of Cycle I, students in class VI B reached a percentage of 43% and the Implementation of Cycle II reached a percentage of 87%, with this the application of the game method in improving the locomotor movement of students in class VI B has reached a classical value with a provision of 85%.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to measure improvement in bottom service skills using a problem-based learning (PBL) model. This research is classroom action research (PTK). The research was conducted at SDN Bubutan 4 Surabaya, and focused on 31 class 5B students. The data collection technique uses a lower service ability test, for indicators of success referring to Djamarah (2006). The percentage indicator for achieving success in this research is the criteria for completing the score for physical education lessons of ≥75 and 80% of the total number of students have exceeded the minimum completeness criteria. The increase in the average student score for cycle 1 activities, had an average score of 68 and a completion percentage of 48.39%, continued in cycle 2 and experienced an increase in the average score of 72 and a student completion percentage of 67.74%. In cycle 3, the average student score increased again by 77 and the percentage of completion was 83.87%.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of pencak silat kicks for class V-A students at SDN Bubutan IV Surabaya through learning modifications using a hanging ball. This classroom action research was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection stages. In the pre-cycle, only 40% of students achieved completeness, of which 12 students were declared complete. After the first intervention using the Shadow Fighting method, the percentage of completion increased to 67% where 20 students were declared complete, but not yet satisfactory. In the second cycle, the use of a hanging ball increased completion to 87%, of which 26 were completed out of 30 students. These results show that hanging balls are effective in making learning more dynamic, interesting, and increasing student motivation. This modification not only improves kicking skills, but also strengthens students' understanding of basic pencak silat movements, creating a higher quality learning process.

Abstract

Gross motor development is essential for elementary students’ physical growth and learning. Traditional games are a fun and culturally rich method to stimulate gross motor skills. To examine the effectiveness of the Karapan Sapi traditional game in improving gross motor skills among 4th-grade students at SDN Bubutan IV Surabaya. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) in two cycles involving 26 students, using observation, interviews, and documentation for data collection. Initial observations showed most students were in the "Less Skilled" category. After the intervention using the Karapan Sapi game, all students progressed to the "Highly Skilled" category. The Karapan Sapi game enhanced not only physical abilities but also teamwork, student engagement, and appreciation for local culture. The Karapan Sapi traditional game is an effective and enjoyable educational tool to improve elementary students’ gross motor skills through contextual and cultural-based learning.

Abstract

Penelitian dilatar belakangi berdasarkan pada permasalahan pembelajaran yang terjadi ketika melakukan pembelajaran gerak keterampilan passing bawah bola voli di lapangan. Peserta didik cenderung merasa bosan melakukan gerak passing bawah bola voli yang monoton serta sering mengalami permasalahan seperti bola tidak mencapai pada lapangan lawan atau tidak menyeberangi batas net, serta posisi kaki dan perkenaan tangan pada bola yang tepat saat melakukan gerak passing bawah bola voli. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya peningkatan hasil belajar keterampilan passing bawah bola voli menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT (Teams Games Tournament) terhadap peserta didik kelas VI di SDN Bubutan 4 Surabaya. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan sampel peserta didik sebanyak 31 kelas VI dengan hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar passing bawah bola voli menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT (Team Games Tournament) dalam aspek keterampilan berdasarkan pada hasil belajar keterampilan pada pretest dengan rata-rata nilai 65,2 sementara setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran tipe TGT, rata-rata hasil belajar keterampilan passing bawah peserta didik meningkat pada posttest yaitu 74,3. Terjadi peningkatan rata-rata nilai sebanyak 9,1 poin. Selanjutnya, pada siklus II hasil belajar keterampilan yang dilakukan pada pretest dengan rata-rata nilai 65,2, setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT, rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik pada posttest yaitu 80,2. Terjadi peningkatan rata-rata nilai sebanyak 15 poin. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT ini dapat menciptakan perubahan signifikan berupa peningkatan hasil belajar keterampilan passing bawah bola voli peserta didik kelas VI di SDN Bubutan 4 Surabaya.
