Abstract

Kajian utama penelitian ini adalah manajemen pendidikan karakter siswa disekolah dasar, dengan rincian masalah adalah perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi.Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui kegiatan observasi, dokumentasidan wawancara. Hasilpenelitian ini diperoleh gambaran bahwa: pertama, perencanaantelah dilaksanakan dengan sebaik mungkin dimulai dari perumusan tujuan, penyusunanstrategi, penetapan kebijaksanaan, pemetaan prosedur, dan penyempurnaan program;kedua, pelaksanaan berjalan dengan baik melalui kegiatan pengorganisasian dan tindakanberfokus pada nilai-nilai karakter siswa; ketiga, evaluasimanajemen pendidikan karaktersiswa melalui kegiatan mengawasi pelaksanaan kegiatan, melakukan refleksi, analisis dantindak lanjut.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of tolerance-based learning in Islamic Religious Education and analyze its impact on students' religious attitudes and character. The background of this research stems from the need for education that emphasizes not only cognitive aspects but also fosters an awareness of living in harmony within diversity. Islamic Religious Education plays a strategic role in instilling values ​​of tolerance so that students are able to practice Islamic teachings wisely, moderately, and civilized. The research method used was qualitative research, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study subjects included Islamic Religious Education teachers and secondary school students. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of tolerance-based learning is carried out by integrating the values ​​of mutual respect, respect for differences, and fostering an attitude of moderation in every learning activity. Islamic Religious Education teachers use a dialogical approach, case studies, group discussions, and value reflections to encourage students to understand religious teachings in an inclusive manner. The impact of this implementation is an increase in mutual respect, cooperation, and social awareness among students, while reducing the potential for exclusive or intolerant attitudes. The conclusion of this study is that tolerance-based learning in Islamic Religious Education can be an effective strategy for developing students who are faithful, have noble morals, and are able to live harmoniously in diversity. The implementation of this strategy is also relevant to national education goals and the values ​​of religious moderation emphasized in the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

  This research is entitled "Teachers' Efforts in Developing Students' Morals at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Subulussalam, West Pasaman Regency." The background of this study lies in the importance of teachers' roles in shaping students' morals amid the challenges of globalization, the influence of social media, and the decline of discipline and manners among adolescents. The purpose of this research is to identify the efforts made by teachers in fostering students' morals, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors they encounter. The study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving teachers, the head of the madrasah, and students. The data were analyzed through reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings reveal that teachers' efforts in fostering students' morals are carried out through role modeling (uswah hasanah), habituation of religious and disciplined behavior, the integration of religious values ​​in learning, and providing regular advice. Supporting factors include the religious school environment, religious programs, and parental support. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors come from the negative influence of social media, peer environment, and the low motivation of some students. The study concludes that the success of moral development requires synergy among teachers, families, and the school environment. Teachers' efforts must be carried out consistently, sustainably, and integrated into all aspects of madrasa education.
