Abstract

Abstract: Local microorganisms function as nutrients for plants and become soil improvers. In addition, MOL is also a decomposer material to replace EM-4 or MA-11. Making MOL is very easy to obtain from household waste such as vegetables, fruits and rice that are not utilised as an effort to maintain a sustainable environment and reduce the production costs of making organic fertiliser. The evaluation system used in making MOL is to prepare the media and mix it with EM-4 mixture and let it sit for one month. In addition, institutional strengthening of the Gubuk Timuk Youth KUBE is also a concern. The objectives of this service activity are: Utilisation of household waste as an alternative to making MOL as a decomposer and training in simple financial management at the Gubuk Timuk Youth KUBE, Sukadana Village, East Lombok Regency. The service method uses social engineering where all activity participants actively participate with the service team and the KUBE group. The results of the service showed that 80 per cent of KUBE had a good understanding of the process of making moles. Indicators of success achieved by partners in making MOL are in terms of production results, the community is satisfied with the products made so that many orders from the community, most members of the youth group gubuk timuk understand how to produce MOL well, the existence of MOL production that has been done. That farmers feel satisfied with the results obtained so that farmers want to continue to order MOL products. Thus the MOL production programme for the youth of gubuk timuk Sukadana Village has a significant contribution in changing the community paradigm about household waste.

Abstract

Rice production can be increased through the use of modern agricultural technology and farmer participation in implementing government policies. The purpose of this study was to analyze farmers' responses to the implementation of the pumping program as an effort to increase land productivity in Masbagik District, East Lombok Regency. Data were obtained through interviews guided by a questionnaire, then analyzed using a composite Likert scale score. The analysis showed that the majority of farmers in Masbagik District responded positively to the pumping optimization program. 52,5 percent of respondents rated the program as highly beneficial (very beneficial), 45.0% as moderate, and only 2.5% as very low. This reflects the program's effectiveness in supporting water availability, increasing productivity, and increasing planting time efficiency, making it worthy of being maintained and further developed.

Abstract

To alleviate poverty and reduce economic inequality, one of the government's strategic steps is to establish Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in each village and maximize the use of village funds. BUMDes are expected to become a driving force for the local economy by managing the village's potential resources. Although designed as a strategic program for village development and empowerment, in practice, many BUMDes face difficult situations and do not deliver optimal results. The main problems faced by BUMDes in East Lombok Regency include unprofessional management, limited human resources, and minimal training and technical guidance. The objectives of this study are: 1) To determine the factors that influence the performance of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) and 2) To determine the direct, indirect, and total influence of indicators on the performance of Village-Owned Enterprises in East Lombok Regency. The method used is descriptive quantitative analysis. The determination of sample locations was determined purposively as much as 50 percent of the number of BUMDes in East Lombok Regency or as many as 120 BUMDes units taken by cluster random sampling method. Data analysis used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) PLS version 4.0. The results of the study show (1) The factors that have a very large effect on the performance of Bumdes in East Lombok Regency are leadership and governance. While government support and human resource management have a very small effect on Bumdes performance. (2.) The factors that directly influence Bumdes performance are government support, human resource management and governance. While leadership does not have a significant direct effect on Bumdes performance. (3) The factors that indirectly influence Bumdes performance mediated by governance are government support and leadership. While human resource management mediated by governance does not have a significant effect on Bumdes performance. Furthermore, the total influence on Bumdes performance is government support, leadership, human resources and governance. While human resource management does not have a significant effect on Bumdes governance.
