Abstract

Usaha yang banyak berkembang pada saat ini terdapat berbagai jenis usaha-usaha salah satunya yaitu usaha kuliner. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai langkah penting dari seorang wirausahawan dalam menjalankan bisnisnya melalui analisis keberhasilan usaha jasuke di Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan dokumentsi dan wawancara. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan rata-rata yang di peroleh penjual jasuke masih minim dengan hasil perharinya adalah sebesar Rp.700.000,-. Mengingat harga pasaran jagung yang begitu rendah sehingga para pedagang diharuskan memiliki inovasi mengelola jagung yang mengkreasikan dengan makanan terkini contohnya jasuke, sehingga nilai jual jagung tersebut lebih tinggi. Penelitian ini berharap masyarakat dapat berkreasi dalam pengolahan makanan atau strategi pemasaran agar makanan tersebut menarik dan diminati oleh masyarakat. Sehingga dengan kreasi baru tersebut maka nilai jual semakin tinggi.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Research on the identification of food products made from algae (microalgae or macroalgae) at traditional and modern markets in the city of Medan was carried out on May 26 2023. This research was carried out at traditional and modern markets in the city of Medan. The purpose of this research is as information and also as an extension of our knowledge about food products made from algae in traditional and modern markets in the city of Medan. The analysis uses a qualitative descriptive method, by taking samples, then documenting them by taking pictures, then identifying them. Analysis using a qualitative descriptive method was carried out in a way, every time you find a food product made from algae, a picture will be taken as proof that the product uses algae-based ingredients. The results of this study are that there are several food products that are often consumed which are made from algae found in traditional and modern markets in the city of Medan, namely jelly, nutrijel, pudding, nori and also karagean. Abstract

Suatu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan yang berbeda yaitu pakan dedak dan pakan jagung terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan burung tekukur (Streptopelia chinensis).Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 15-29 Oktober selama 14 hari di Desa Laut Dendang, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 ekor burung terkukur (Streptopelia chinensis) Metode yang dilakukan yaitu observasi langsung secara deskriptif dengan cara mencatat perbedaan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan burung terkukur (Streptopelia chinensis) dengan diberi pakan yang berbeda yaitu pakan jagung dan dedak padi.Hasil penelitian yaitu burung terkukur yang diberi pakan jagung memiliki bentuk tubuh yang bulat dan daging yang tebal,dan berat awal burung 53 g kemudiaan pada akhir pemeliharaan menjadi 100 g, serta memiliki bulu yang lebat dan rata sedangkan burung tekukur yang diberi pakan dedak padi berat badannya tidak terlalu naik drastis , berat awal 56 g kemudian pada akhir pemeliharaan menjadi 63 g,serta bulu pada burung tekukur mengalami kerontokan dan tidak rata karena kekurangan nutrisi sehingga rawan terkena penyakit dan nutrisi pada pakan dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan burung tekukur tekukur (Streptopelia chinensis).

Abstract

Background: Low student engagement and learning outcomes in biology, particularly in abstract topics such as the human digestive system, are often caused by the use of monotonous learning media that do not actively involve students. This research aims to create Truth or Dare learning media integrated with the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model to enhance the learning outcomes of eleventh-grade high school students on the topic of the digestive system. Methodology: This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Validation was conducted by subject matter experts and media experts, while practicality and effectiveness were tested through student and teacher response questionnaires, as well as pre- and post-tests. Findings: Validation results indicated that the media was highly valid, with a score of 98% for the subject matter and 82,1% for the media. Teacher and student responses indicated that the media was highly practical, with scores of 95,5% and 90,4%, respectively. The N-Gain analysis showed a high level of effectiveness, with a score of 0,76. This media has proven capable of improving student learning outcomes while fostering active, collaborative, and enjoyable engagement in learning. Thus, the Truth or Dare-based TGT learning media is suitable as an innovative alternative in Biology education to enhance student learning outcomes, particularly for abstract topics such as the human digestive system. Contribution: These results demonstrate the potential contribution of game-based learning in biology education as an alternative to foster student-centered and meaningful learning
