Abstract

Agricultural extension plays an important role in improvingfarmers' work. This study aims to analyze the role of agriculturalextension workers in increasing the work productivity of ricefarmers in Limboto District and evaluate the level of workproductivity of farmers in the area. The method used isquantitative with a descriptive analysis approach and a Likertscale. This study assesses the role of extension workers inguiding farmers regarding self-ability, time management, andmanagement of technical problems in agricultural activities. Theresults of the study showed that the role of agricultural extensionworkers in Limboto District was very effective in increasing thework productivity of farmers, with an average score of 4 in eachindicator tested. The research sample was carried out on 44farmers by taking until they started on farmers who had 2hectares of land. The data analysis method was carried out in aquantitative descriptive manner with interview and observationmethods. The results showed that the increase in workproductivity of rice farmers in Limboto District, based on theindicators tested, obtained positive results with an average valueof 4, which indicates a good category. The effectiveness of therole of agricultural extension workers in this sub-district can becategorized as effective, with the achievement of 79% of thetarget set for the extension role. However, farmers' labourproductivity is only 72%, which shows that although extensionis effective, external challenges such as cost constraints andaccess to modern agricultural technologies still hinderagricultural yields. And the last is The relationship between theeffectiveness of the role of agricultural extension workers and thework productivity of farmers in this sub-district showedsignificant results, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.179and a significance value of 0.002. This shows that the moreeffective the extension workers are in carrying out their roles, thehigher the productivity achieved by farmers.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the economic potential and investment feasibility of copra business in Gorontalo Regency, using a SWOT analysis and financial analysis approach. The results of the financial analysis indicate that the business is feasible, with a Net Present Value (NPV) of IDR 63,167,388, an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 40%, and a Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR) of 5.67. In the SWOT analysis, the key strength lies in the support from the local community and the availability of coconut raw materials, while the greatest weakness is the limited capital and dependence on the local market. Opportunities include technological advancements and partnerships with exporters, while the main Threats are fluctuations in copra prices and strict export-import regulations. The conclusion of this study recommends strategies to maximize local community support, utilize the latest technology to improve product quality and distribution, and establish partnerships with exporters to open access to global markets, which are expected to address existing challenges and support the sustainability of the copra business. Abstract

Sikap gotong royong yang kerap dimiliki oleh setiap warga Indonesia adalah Gotong royong yaitu kegiatan bekerja sama antar individu dan antar kelompok dalam menangani sebuah permasalahan atau kegiatan yang dapat memebantu mempermudah suatu kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar yang merupakan kepentingan bersama. Tradisi gotong royong digorontalo disebut dengan istilah Huyula. Huyula telah ada dan dibina secara turun temurun oleh masyarakat Gorontalo. Dalam bukunya Nilai-Nilai Kearifan Lokal (Local Genius) Studi Empiris tentang Huyula. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui mengetahui Eksistensi Nilai-Nilai Huyula pada Produksi Padi dan mengidentifikasi dan mendiskripsikan bentuk nilai-nilai huyula yang masih eksis dalam produksi padi. Metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan interpretative. Populasi dalam penelitian ini petani pelaku huyula yang berada di desa Huidu yang berjumlah 2 kelompok dimana masing-masing kelompok berangotakan 10 orang dan sampel menggunakan metode Sensus atau sampling total. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan interpretative. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Eksistensi nilai-nilai huyula pada pengolahan lahan tanaman padi sawah mengalami transformasi dan Pada tingkat partisipasi masyarakat ditemukan bahwa petani menggunakan dua model huyula dimana huyula moderen sebanyak 65% dan 70% serta huyula murni 35% dan 30%. Namun dalam produksi usaha tani padi di kabupaten Gorontalo terutama di desa Huidu masih tinggi tingkat partisipasinya

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kelayakan finansial dan kontribusi ekonomi dari agribisnis jagung di Desa Kopi, Kecamatan Bulango Utara, Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis rasio penerimaan terhadap biaya (R/C ratio) dan Location Quotient (LQ). Data diperoleh melalui survei terhadap 41 petani jagung dengan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur dan observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa R/C ratio sebesar 2,56 mengindikasikan bahwa usaha tani jagung di Desa Kopi layak secara finansial, dengan total pendapatan yang lebih besar daripada biaya produksi. Nilai LQ sebesar 1,25 menunjukkan bahwa jagung merupakan komoditas unggulan di daerah tersebut, dengan kontribusi signifikan terhadap perekonomian lokal. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa faktor-faktor seperti akses terhadap input, teknologi budidaya, dan informasi pasar mempengaruhi profitabilitas petani. Kebijakan pemerintah yang mendukung penyuluhan dan akses pembiayaan diperlukan untuk memperkuat kelayakan dan daya saing agribisnis jagung di tingkat pedesaan.
