Abstract

This paper describes the Role of Supervisor in Building Religious Culture. Teachers are components of human resources that must be fostered and developed continuously in order to perform its functions potentially. Therefore, to improve the quality of education starts from teachers and other education personnel. One of the efforts that can be done is by doing a supervision. Religious culture is one of the objectives of learning Islamic religious education, ie that learners can lead to the aspect of being not only leads to aspects of knowing and doing it. In this case, supervisor support will be given to build a religious culture, considering that one of the goals of the supervisor is the one provided to help teachers become professional, skilled and skilled teachers and able to do more effectively in achieving educational goals.

Abstract

The ability to speak English is an essential skill that students must have to prepare for the future and communicate effectively in an increasingly connected world. In Indonesia, a developing country with linguistic diversity, mastery of English is a key skill to access opportunities in education, careers and international life. However, the development of speaking skills is often a challenge in formal educational settings such as schools. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of two English learning methods, namely the use of videos and textbooks, in developing the speaking skills of grade XI students of SMK Mitra Nusantara Jati Bening Baru, Pondok Gede, Bekasi.The research method used is comparative quantitative research with descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the Independent Samples T-Test showed that there was no significant difference in students' speaking skills between the group taught using videos and the group taught using textbooks, with a Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.113 indicating that the mean difference of 2.920 between the two groups was not significant at the 0.05 level of significance. This finding indicates that both teaching methods are equally effective in improving students' speaking skills.This study is expected to provide valuable insights for teachers and school staff regarding the use of videos and textbooks in English language teaching, as well as assist in developing more innovative curriculum and teaching methods according to the needs of students in the digital era.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara bahasa Inggris siswa kelas XI OTKP di SMK Alam Karya Sukawangi, Kabupaten Bekasi, dengan menawarkan metode pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang lebih menarik ( Metode Role Play. Kelas XI OTKP yang beranggotakan 25 siswa menjadi fokus penelitian ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), di mana penulis bekerja sama dengan guru Bahasa Inggris. Proses penelitian tindakan Kemmis dan McTaggart-perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi, diikuti dalam pelaksanaan penelitian ini. Siklus pemeriksaan dilakukan. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua sampai tiga pertemuan. Statistik yang dikumpulkan untuk penelitian ini berasal dari observasi, wawancara, pengecekan, dan buku catatan guru. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berbicara siswa telah meningkat. Di akhir siklus, mayoritas siswa secara konsisten mencapai peringkat yang sesuai. Nilai Kriteria Penguasaan Minimal (KKM) pelajaran Bahasa Inggris adalah 75,00. Tujuh belas siswa atau 68,00% dari duapuluh lima siswa tidak lulus KKM pada pra-tes dengan nilai terendah 60,00 dan nilai tertinggi 80,00. Berdasarkan hasil pasca-tes 1, sepuluh siswa atau 40,00% lulus KKM pada siklus pertama dengan nilai tertinggi 80,00 dan limabelas siswa lainnya atau 60% tidak lulus KKM dengan nilai terendah 64,00. Selanjutnya, hasil pasca-tes 2 pada siklus kedua menunjukkan bahwa dua puluh satu siswa atau 84% lulus KKM dengan nilai tertinggi yaitu 84,00 dan empat siswa atau 16,00% tidak lulus KKM dengan nilai terendah 64,00. Guru bahasa Inggris dan siswa menanggapi kegiatan ini dengan baik, dan lingkungan kelas selama proses belajar mengajar juga baik. Singkatnya, kemampuan berbicara siswa dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan metode role play dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan arti penting untuk pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan, khususnya terkait dengan penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang menarik.

Abstract

The objectives of this research is to study 1) The instructional process of word games in teaching English vocabulary in SMP Islam kader Bangsa 2) The result of the implementation of word games in improving SMP Islam Kader Bangsa student’s vocabulary. This study used classroom action research in SMP Islam Kader Bangsa's VIII class in Bekasi in 2024. The model employed in this investigation was Kurt Lewin. This inquiry was divided into two cycles: planning, activity, observation, and reflection. For data collecting, the author employed both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Qualitative data was gathered by means of observations and interviews. Pre- and post-test techniques were used to gather quantitative data. The results of the study demonstrate a notable improvement in the vocabulary instruction of English through word games. While students' average score on the post-test was 89.12, their average score on the pre-test was only 64.41. With a score of 0.29 on the Sample Paired Test, all students passed the KKM.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant influence of the use of short animation movies on ‘learning of listening skills of class 11 Ma Mu'min Cendekia Bekasi.This study uses a Non-Experimental Quantitative method. There is no research sample because it is already in the surrounding environment. The researcher uses statistics, data analysis using SPSS 27. The researcher found learning problems in schools, namely that students' hearing is not clear, and they cannot hear the word "Open" but are written with the word "Owpen". The results of the study showed that the hypothesis H1: There is an influence between classes that apply listening skills tests. H0: There is no influence between classes that apply short animation movies tests. It can be concluded that short animation movies have a significant influence on the listening skills of students of Ma Mu'min Cendekia Bekasi.
