Abstract

The Larangan Coastal Fishing Port (Larangan CFP) is the only fishing port in the administrative area of Tegal Regency, as a quite productive fish landing center and is the catch of fishermen operating in the coastal watiers of Tegal with anchovy main commodity. Because it is one of the fishing tools of the fishing community which is classified as productive and is based in the Larangan CFP. is the type of anchovies surrounding net (purse seine) In this study, 8 units of purse seiners were selected using light capture device (lamp) as samples, using case study and observation/interview metods and financial analysis which include; Profit and Loss, Payback Period, B/C Ratio, BEP, NPV, IRR and Swiching Value. From the calculation results of the economic (financial) analysis of fishing activities with purse seine anchovies based at the Larangan CFP, Tegal Regency is general can be categorized as feasible, because all business feasibility indicators are still above the required criteria as a feasible business activity to run. The avarage value of each of these indicators is; Paybac Period (4.4 years or 4 years 3 months), Break Even Point (Rp.202,168,749), B/C Ratio (1.24), NPV (Rp.325,474,008), and IRR (22%). Then the replacement value (Switching Value) also still sows a business that is feasible continuimg with an average B/C Ratio of 1.20 and a Payback Period of 5.2 years with the analysis of two scenarios of each situation; 3% for a decrease in production value, and 3.5% for an increase in input prices.

Abstract

Handline is a fishing gear that is selective about the catch and is a fishing gear that is passive or in the process of catching it there is a waiting period. The waiting period for the handline is the time when the bait is waiting for the fish to eat it. The depth of the hook on KM Viona III varies. The depth is divided into 2 groups between 45-60 m and 67.5-82.5 m. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was an effect of differences in hook depth on catches by paired sample test t-test using SPSS 24. Based on the Wilcoxon test, non-parametric test hook depth test for total catches presented by SPSS 24 with asymp values .sig of 0.041. Because 0.041 < 0.05 means that there is a difference in catches based on the number of fish and it can be concluded that there is also an effect of hook depth on the number of catches, and the weight of the catch has a value of 0.023. Because the value is 0.023 <0.05, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there are differences in the weight of the catch at different depths and it can be concluded that there is also an effect of the depth of the hook on the weight of the catch. which was carried out at the Cilacap Ocean Fishing Port and participated in a 32-day arrest operation at KM Viona III.

Abstract

Purse seine is an active type of fishing gear because in fishing operations the vessel circles the net around the target by circling the net around a school of fish then the bottom of the net is pursed by pulling the crimped rope. The operation of the purse seine fishing gear is by circling a school of fish around FADs by utilizing the habit of positive taxis photo fish. The stages of operating the purse seine are the preparation stage, the stage of lowering the fishing gear (setting), the stage of withdrawing the wrinkled line (purshing) then the stage of withdrawing the fishing gear (hauling). For financial analysis using 4 indicators in determining the feasibility of a business carried out at KM Tresna including Profit and Loss, R/C Ratio (IRR), Payback Period (PP) and ROI (Return Of Investment). Business feasibility at KM Tresna taking into account profits, R /C Ratio, Payback Period and Return on Investment. Where is the result of calculations in 1 year Tresna KM gets a net profit of Rp. 526,300,717, the R/C is 1.25, which means that the business is very feasible and can be developed. Investment costs can be returned for 3.72 years in the calculation of the payback period and the ROI calculation reaches 26,85%. From all these calculations it can be concluded that the effort on KM Tresna can be said to be feasible.
