Abstract

A leader plays an important role an achieving the success and goals of an organization, as well as the principal who has an important rolein the achievement of educational and learning goals. In leading the principal must have profesionalism in order to achieve educational goals, therefore the principal must play a role in the process of planning, monitoring, etc. Improving the quality of schools in one of the goals to be achieved, so to improve the quality of the institution itself the principal must be able to foster and direct teachers to work profesionalilly to improve the quality of student. This study aims to describe the role of principals in improving the quality of education perspective of total quality management concepts. This type of research is the use of qualitative research. MTS Al - Jam'iyatul Kesulitan Tembung head 0f research subjects using interviews, observation, and documentation. The result show thar the principal acts as a manager, innovator, motivator by carrying out several efforts to improve the quality of students at MTS Al - Jam'iyatul Washliyah Tembung 18, arouse student’s interest and motivation to lean and try to improve the character and moral values of students

Abstract

School as an educational institution and is a means in the context of these educational goals. In the school environment students are required to comply with the rules and regulations that exist in school. The purpose of this study was to determine individual counseling services in problem check lists and anecdotal notes at Tembung Mandiri Vocational School. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques used in this study by way of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects in this study were counseling teachers and class X students of Light Vehicle Engineering. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of individual counseling services in problem check lists and anecdotal notes at Mandiri Tembung Vocational High School indicates that the counseling teacher has provided individual counseling services to students who experience individual problems. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Menungkatkan Sopan Santun Siswa Fatherless (anak yatim) di SMP Swasta Karya Jaya Tanjung Morawa dilatar belakangi oleh Fenomena anak yang kurangnya sopan santun, faktor yang menyebabkan ialah kurangnya peran ayah dalam diri anak tersebut, ketidakhadiran peran ayah dalam kehidupan anak membuat anak merasa kurang di sayang yang menimbulkan sikap kurangnya sopan santun seperti melawan, melanggar aturan yang di tetapkan sekolah. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pengambilan keputusan dalam uji Wilcoxon, jika P < 0,05 maka hipotesis yang diajukan dapat diterima. Namun jika P > 0,05 maka hipotesis yang diajukan ditolak atau tidak dapat di terima. Adapun hasil uji hipotesis data yang di dapatkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Zhitung = -2.214, kemudian hasil olah data yang didapat adalah 0,027 hal ini berarti bahwa 0,027 < 0,05 yang memiliki makna bahwa hasil uji hipotesis diterima. Sehingga keputusan hipotesisnya terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan pada sopan santun siswa fatherless sebelum (pre-test) dan sesudah (post-test) mendapat perlakuan (treatment) konseling individu realitas. Dapat di ketahui juga bahwa konseling individu pendekatan realitas efektif untuk meningkatkan sopan santun siswa fatherless Kelas VII di SMP Karya Jaya Tanjung Morawa.
