Abstract

This article discusses the impact of Islamic education on the moral development of Muslim students. The aim of Islamic education is to bring students closer to God and enlighten humanity. To form good morals in students' lives, appropriate strategies are needed in implementing Islamic education. The problem formulation in this research is the impact of Islamic religious education on the moral development of Muslim students. The aim is to determine the impact of Islamic religious education on the moral development of Muslim students. This research includes quantitative research. The approach used is descriptive quantitative. Data was obtained by distributing a questionnaire to students with a total of 10 questions. The data analysis technique uses the percentage of answers from the questionnaire. The population and sample in this study amounted to 74 students. The research results show that the impact of PAI on the moral development of Muslim students is in the "high" category. This can be proven from the research results of the students' total score of 76.2%.

Abstract

This study attempts to discuss the influence of the PAIKEM Learning Model in learning aqidah akhlak in improving student learning motivation and student learning outcomes at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Lahat. To find answers to these problems, the author conducted a study using quantitative research methods. The sample was divided into two, namely the control class and the experimental class. The control class used textbooks as learning resources for learning aqidah akhlak, while the experimental class used the PAIKEM Learning Model. From the research data that the author found, the majority of grade VIII students liked and accepted the delivery of aqidah akhlak lessons using the PAIKEM Learning Model, the learning motivation of students who used the PAIKEM Learning Model had an average of 39.73 and those who did not use the PAIKEM Learning Model 30.61, there was an increase of 29.80% from the class that did not use the PAIKEM Learning Model. The average student learning outcomes were 82.83 while the class that did not use the PAIKEM Learning Model was 63.02. Thus, there was an increase of 31% from the class that did not use the PAIKEM Learning Model. Likewise, in class VII students who use the PAIKEM Learning Model have an average learning motivation of 39.12 and classes that do not use 35.57 there is an increase of 10.83% from classes that do not use the PAIKEM Learning Model. The learning outcomes of students who use the PAIKEM Learning Model are higher than classes that do not use the PAIKEM Learning Model, namely an average value of 70.19 while classes that do not use the PAIKEM Learning Model are 60 thus there is an increase of 24.26% from classes that do not use the PAIKEM Learning Model. Thus it can be concluded that the learning system using the PAIKEM Learning Model media (new method) can be used for the learning process of aqidah akhlak at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Lahat, and the new method (using the PAIKEM Learning Model) is better than the old method (without the PAIKEM Learning Model).

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) concept in the Educational Evaluation learning process at Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Rahmaniyah Sekayu, with a sample of 38 students. The TPACK concept integrates knowledge of technology, pedagogy, and content to enhance the effectiveness of the learning process. The research model employs an empirical approach with data analysis techniques according to Miles and Huberman, which include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires administered to 38 students enrolled in the Educational Evaluation course. The results show that the implementation of TPACK in teaching has been effective, with students giving positive responses to the use of technology in understanding educational evaluation materials. However, there are several challenges related to the limited understanding of students regarding technology use and the mismatch between pedagogical techniques and the technology implemented. Based on the findings, it is recommended that instructors enhance their technological skills and provide more training for students to ensure optimal integration of technology in learning.

Abstract

The general background of this study highlights the rapid transformation of contemporary Islamic education amid globalization, digitalization, pluralism, and secular value shifts that challenge traditional pedagogical models. The specific background shows that Islamic educational institutions are under increasing pressure to integrate technological innovation, multicultural competence, and moral formation to remain relevant. The knowledge gap lies in the limited scholarly synthesis that holistically maps effective strategies for balancing Islamic principles with the demands of modern social and cultural contexts. This study aims to identify adaptive, comprehensive strategies that strengthen the integrative role of Islamic education through curriculum reform, ICT integration, educator empowerment, and family–community collaboration. The results reveal that transformative, value-based, and technologically enriched approaches significantly enhance Islamic education’s responsiveness to global challenges. The novelty of this study lies in offering an integrated framework that connects ethical-spiritual formation with modern pedagogical innovation, grounded in literature from 2018–2025. The implications suggest that Islamic education can serve as a sustainable moral compass and social catalyst when it harmonizes faith, knowledge, and culture to develop intellectually competent, socially aware, and spiritually resilient learners. Highlights: Contemporary Islamic education must balance tradition with global social–cultural change. Integrative strategies—curriculum reform, ICT, and educator empowerment—enhance relevance.
