Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of advertising exposure on shopping interest. The paradigm used in this research is the positivism paradigm. This study uses a quantitative approach. This research uses non-experimental research methods with a type of method, namely the survey method. The population in this study were students. The number of samples in this research was 100. The primary data for this research uses data obtained from a questionnaire that has been distributed in the form of a Google Form. The linear regression test in this research uses product moments with SPSS version 24 for Windows. Based on the findings and discussion of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the level of advertising exposure is in the medium category with a percentage of 60%. The level of interest in shopping through applications is also in the medium category, with a percentage of 40%. From the research results, it can be concluded that advertising exposure influences shopping interest. Based on the results of the t-value, namely 3.5 > 1.98, The coefficient of determination in this equation has a positive value of 12.5%. This figure means that the advertising exposure variable does not have a big influence on shopping interest at 12.5%. Other factors that were not considered in this study contributed the remaining 87.5%. So the conclusion is that if the advertising exposure variable increases, then interest in shopping through the application will also increase. Vice versa, if advertising exposure decreases, shopping interest also decreases.

Abstract

Women's participation in democracy in Indonesia has historically faced challenges, especially at the local level such as in villages. PKK (Family Welfare Empowerment) had great potential as a forum for women's participation, but education on elections and active roles in democracy was often inaccessible to them. Community service activities was one form of community service by university students that could be used to enhance peaceful election education in PKK Banjar Pucak Sari Village, Dangin Puri Kauh. Through this program, women were expected to become active agents of change in disseminating democratic values and campaigns for peaceful elections through social media. Community service activities involved discussions, experimentation with link and barcode creation, brochure preparation, and training in using social media for peaceful election campaigns. Informative and engaging brochures on peaceful election education were also created and distributed to the public. Thus, it was hoped that women's participation in local elections and politics would be increased, creating a more inclusive and representative society. This study identified challenges and solutions in program implementation, providing a comprehensive overview of implementation stages, methods, challenges, and solutions. The results were expected to serve as a guide for other institutions or organizations wishing to implement similar programs to enhance women's participation in democracy.Keywords: Women's Participation, Democracy, Election Education, PKK, Community Service Activities.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan di desa Dangin Puri Kauh adalah mengedukasi masyarakat untuk menjadi pemilih cerdas tanpa adanya politik uang. Kegiatan edukasi ini bekerjasama dengan panitia pemungutan suara (pps) dan KPU kota Denpasar melalui kegiatan diskusi Bersama masyarakat tentang penjadi pemilih cerdas, pembuatan materi, serta persiapan konten edukasi yang diberikan kepada masyarakat menjelang pemilu 2024.  Program ini berupaya memperluas pemahaman masyarakat tentang pentingnya pemilu yang bersih dan bebas dari politik uang. Hasil dari program ini berupa konten edukasi di media sosial, pembagian brosur, serta sosialisasi langsung kepada masyarakat, sehingga akan menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif untuk diskusi terbuka tentang isu-isu politik dan pemilu, serta membangun generasi muda yang kritis dan peduli terhadap isu-isu politik. Evaluasi efektivitas program akan dilakukan melalui umpan balik dari masyarakat. Dengan demikian, diharapkan masyarakat Desa Dangin Puri Kauh dapat menjadi agen perubahan yang aktif dalam memperkuat demokrasi lokal dan nasional.
