Abstract

Health equipment is one of the factors that plays an important role in providing health services to the community. Maintenance is an activity that aims to maintain or ensure that the condition of the building and its facilities and infrastructure is in good condition, can operate properly, and is acceptable to existing standards. In this analysis, the method used is based on a literature review from electronic data sources. Several factors related to ensuring the quality of medical equipment in health care settings are monitoring the maintenance of medical and non-medical equipment, timely calibration or validation of instruments/measuring tools.

Abstract

Tablets are solid preparations that contain medicinal ingredients with or without fillers. The addition of disintegrating materials aims to counter the pressure during tablet manufacturing, especially in the process of releasing the tablet dosage form which begins with the disintegration process. In this analysis, the method used is based on a literature review from electronic data sources. Based on the literature results, starch can act as a crushing agent because the granules are able to expand when in contact with water and amylose is a component that has the properties of a crushing agent because of its ability to expand. It can be concluded that starch or starch from any plant is effective as a tablet disintegrating agent not only because of its good water contact ability, but if we look at the evaluation tests produced, almost all of them meet the requirements.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki berbagai macam sumber daya alam hayati yang tersebar luas di berbagai macam daerah. Salah satunya adalah tanaman daun kumis kucing (Orthosiphon aristatus). Pada penelitian ini, daun kumis kucing (Orthosiphon aristatus) yang akan diteliti dengan menggunakan ekstrak daun dari tanaman tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah aktivitas senyawa yang menghambat kanker pada tanaman kumis kucing. Pada analisis efek anti kanker dari daun Orthosiphon stamineus pada sel MCF-7. Diketahui ekstrak etil asetat tanaman dikumpulkan 6 fraksi berdasarkan nilai Rfnya dan fraksi diuji sitotoksisitasnya, peneliti mendeteksi adanya terpenoid, sterol, karbohidrat, flavonoids, alkaloida, kuinon, fenol dan kumarin dalam ekstrak etil asetat serta flavonoid dan alkohol dalam ekstrak metanol daun O. Selain etil asetat yang mampu menghasilkan sitotoksisitas untuk menghambat pertumbuhan MCF-7, pada ekstrak metanol OS juga ditemukan memiliki aktivitas anti-anglo game yang kuat secara in vitro. Secara in Vitro, pada percobaan faktorial umum tipe 3×3×4  digunakan dengan jumlah total tiga puluh enam proses untuk menyiapkan CO superkritis (SC-CO2) ekstrak teh kumis kucing (Orthosiphon stamineus). SC-CO2 ekstrak disiapkan pada tekanan dan suhu sedang (31.1MPa dan 60∘C) menghasilkan sitotoksisitas selektif terhadap sel kanker prostat manusia (PC3) dan aktivitas pemulungan radikal bebas yang signifikan, namun tidak beracun bagi sel normal.
