Abstract

The Integrated Science Props Energy Wheel is used as a tool to help students understand the conversion of motion energy into electrical energy and gain knowledge about the processes of catabolism and anabolism in cellular metabolism within the human body. Additionally, this tool presents a visually engaging, challenging, and enjoyable representation of the differences between molecules and compounds, aiming to attract students to study Natural Sciences. The research objective is to determine the design and working principles of the integrated energy wheel teaching aid. The research method employed is experimental method with a descriptive approach., involving the collection of data through detailed narratives and direct observation of the object under study. The study results in the creation of the integrated science props Energy Wheel, which has dimensions of 25 cm in length, 25 cm in width, and 20 cm in height. In this Energy Wheel, the conversion of motion energy into electricity is indicated by the illumination of lights mounted on the props when the wheel is turned. The illuminated lights symbolize the bond formation between simple molecules to form complex molecules, representing an anabolism reaction. When the wheel stops turning, the lights turn off, signifying the return of complex molecules to simple molecules and the occurrence of a catabolism reaction.

Abstract

The background of writing this is that the results of students' mathematics learning are still low in class VI SD. Students do more practice assignments and are less actively involved in the learning process. One alternative is to apply the application of Realistic Mathematics Education. The purpose of this study is to find out that the application of a Realistic Mathematics Education approach can help improve students' learning outcomes in mathematics. The method in this research is classroom action research. Instruments in this study, namely: the description test instrument and the non-test observation sheet instrument. The results of this study indicate that students' mathematics learning outcomes can be increased through the application of Realistic Mathematics Education. In cycle one, students' mathematics learning outcomes at the 1st meeting were 45% in the sufficient category and at the 2nd meeting it increased to 57% in the sufficient category. In the second cycle, the increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes at the 1st meeting was 60%, which was in the sufficient category, and at the 2nd meeting, the 85% increase was in the very good category. In the second cycle, there was a very good increase at the 2nd meeting. This can be categorized as a successful increase because it exceeds the minimum success indicator of 75% with KKM = 69 as a benchmark. The results of this study are expected to be useful to related parties who can use them, such as school principals, teachers, parents and students as well as future researchers.

Abstract

The educational process in schools focuses on teaching and learning interactions that aim to provide knowledge to students. Mathematics, as a fundamental discipline, contributes to the development of logical and critical thinking. The use of learning media, especially those based on technology and 3D, can improve students' interest and learning outcomes. This study uses the Classroom Action Research method consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The primary data source is elementary school teachers. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after the application of three-dimensional learning media, with the percentage of learning completion increasing from 14% in the pre-cycle to 81% in cycle II. This confirms that the use of appropriate learning media can improve the effectiveness of mathematics learning in schools.

Abstract

Many teachers complain about the low learning outcomes of students in Mathematics lessons. This situation also occurred in grade IV at SDN Megamendung 01 related to learning the number of thousands. One of the causes of the lack of learning achievement is the lack of students' understanding of the number of thousands. As professional educators, teachers must be able to hold an active, creative, and fun learning process for students. Thus, it is hoped that it can encourage the improvement of student activities and learning outcomes through appropriate methods. This research was carried out at SDN Megamendung 01 Megamendung District, Bogor Regency from March to May 2025 in two cycles, involving 17 students, consisting of 8 boys and 9 girls. This research provides benefits both theoretically and practically for students, teachers, and related educational institutions. The order of learning improvement actions in the form of learning thousands of numbers from: (1) sorting numbers from small to large, (2) sorting the largest to the smallest using the number card tool in the teaching of Mathematics Class IV. The findings of the study show that there is an increase in student learning achievement through improving the learning process until the second cycle by applying the Tike And Give Learning Model. Learning achievement can be seen from the increase in final grades from the beginning of cycle I to cycle II. Where the average test score in the pre-cycle increased from 50.59 to 61.48 in the first cycle and to 80 in the second cycle. Therefore, it is hoped that teachers can improve their ability to manage the classroom and have an appropriate learning model to increase student participation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Getting satisfactory student learning outcomes is the most expected goal by all teachers. However, if the reality is not as expected, especially in elementary school units, of course, teachers' steps do not stop to improve and achieve the main goal. That is what happened to students in grade VI of SDN Harjasari 1, South Bogor District, Bogor City, where the Writer is assigned. The lack of student learning activities in the classroom is the main cause of not getting maximum learning results. For this reason, the author conducted research by applying the Group Investigation Learning Model as a step to maximize student learning outcomes in the classroom. By forming heterogeneous groups to carry out Natural and Social Science practice activities on artificial vegetative plant propagation, students are more active and can provide group results that are inventions. As a result, students were able to show an increase in learning outcomes well, from 81.5% in the first cycle to 92.6% in the second cycle. Conveying the results of group work, discussing, expressing discoveries while practicing, being thorough, appreciating the work of other groups and providing good learning results is proof that by applying the Group Investigation learning model has succeeded in achieving the research goals expected by the author. However, this achievement does not indicate that this is the end of the learning model in the teaching and learning process in schools. Educators should use a variety of more interesting learning models to achieve their desired educational goals and as a way to improve their quality as professional teachers at the elementary school level in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika kelas II SDN Megamendung 03 Kecamatan Megamendung Kabupaten Bogor didominasi oleh guru dan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hal ini menyebabkan proses pembelajaran di kelas menjadi tidak kondusif yang ditandai dengan siswa kehilangan minat belajar, kantuk dan hanya sedikit orang yang memperhatikan saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan memanfaatkan model pembelajaran Demonstrasi dengan 25 subjek penelitian. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua tahap perbaikan mengenai materi pengurutan angka dan penjumlahan angka. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan guru mengalami peningkatan yang memuaskan, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan partisipasi dan prestasi belajar siswa. Aktivitas siswa meningkat dari 70,66 pada siklus I dan 85 pada siklus II. Nilai ujian akhir siswa juga meningkat dari 60% pada siklus pertama menjadi 96% pada siklus kedua. Dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Demonstrasi, dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas II SDN Megamendunng 03, Kecamatan Megamendung, Kabupaten Bogor. Guru harus menerapkan model dan metode pembelajaran. Model Pembelajaran Demonstrasi dapat mendorong motivasi belajar, siswa aktif berpartisipasi dalam proses pembelajaran dan mudah mengingat pelajaran yang diajarkan oleh guru.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of varied learning methods in Pancasila Education subjects in grade 1 of SD Negeri Cipaku 2 Bogor City. The research was conducted with a descriptive approach through observation, questionnaire distribution, and document analysis. The results show that the application of differentiation strategies—including content, processes, and products—is able to increase students' enthusiasm and involvement in learning activities. Teachers first conduct diagnostic tests to map students' learning interests and needs before developing appropriate teaching methods. The students' response to learning was very positive, and the teacher felt that the strategies implemented successfully met their needs and interests. The main challenge in differentiated learning is to change the perception of students who think that the learning process is uniform. To overcome this, teachers provide an understanding that different methods are not forms of discrimination, but rather ways to adapt learning to individual needs. These findings indicate that the differentiation approach is effective in increasing the effectiveness of learning and student involvement in understanding Pancasila Education.

Abstract

Objective: This class action research aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes after the implementation of the TGT (Team Games Tournament) type cooperative learning model in grade V of SDN Bintara Jaya III, West Bekasi District. Method: This research was conducted in two cycles on 32 students. The data collection technique is through observation by teachers and observers, and data analysis is carried out in a descriptive manner with a percentage technique. The success rate of the implementation of the TGT model cooperative method is stated completely or incompletely. Results: From the results of the analysis, it was found that student learning outcomes increased from cycle I to cycle II. This can be seen from the student score during the implementation of the first cycle, the average student learning outcome was 67.81 with the number of students who have not reached KKM 70 as many as 10 students or 31.25% and those who have completed as many as 22 students or 68.75%. Based on these results, improvements were then made from cycle I to cycle II. After the improvement, the average mathematics learning outcomes of students increased to 81.6 with the number of students who have reached KKM being 30 students or 93.75% and the number of students who have not reached KKM being 2 students or 6.25%. The learning results in cycle II were declared successful because they had met the research success criteria, namely ≥85% of all students had reached KKM, which was ≥70, then the research was stopped. Novelty: The conclusion of this study is that the TGT model cooperative method can improve Mathematics learning outcomes in grade V students of SDN Bintara Jaya III, West Bekasi District, Bekasi City and this learning model can be used as an alternative mathematics learning method.
