Abstract

This study discusses the menstrual cycle that occurs in female students caused by several factors. Factors associated with menstrual cycle disorders such as stress, physical activity, and diet. During stress, activation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis together with the autonomic nervous system can cause several changes, namely in the reproductive system, namely abnormal menstrual cycles. Students are a group that is prone to experiencing stress due to the responsibilities and demands of academic life on students. The research method used is quantitative with cross sectional and simple random sampling. The population is STIKes Medistra Indonesia students in 2022 with a sample of 129 female students. With the results of the study, it was found that p was 0.0000 so that the conclusion was that there was a relationship between stress levels and the menstrual cycle in female students of STIKes Medistra Indonesia Bekasi.

Abstract

Attitude in nursing is called an important determinant of behavior, the attitude that exists in a person will give a picture of a person by knowing a person's attitude will be able to predict how the response or action will be taken by the person to a problem. So that this attitude is important for communication in nursing is called therapeutic communication. The existence of a communication in nursing can minimize the occurrence of errors or misunderstandings in the nursing process. Attitude assessment needs to be based on the knowledge of therapeutic communication, obtained since becoming a nursing student. But in fact nursing students are still found to have poor therapeutic communication attitudes.Research purposes : This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge of nursing students' therapeutic communication with attitude assessment in the VIII semester student PKK course of STIKes Medistra Indonesia.Research methods : The research used is quantitative, analytical observational research design and using a cross sectional approach. The population is nursing students in the VIII semester PKK course STIkes Medistra Indonesia in 2022 totaling 133 students with a sample of 100 respondents. Data collection technique using simple random sampling.Research result : It was found that with a significant level or value of , p value was 0.000 < value 0.05, there was a correlation between Therapeutic Communication Knowledge and attitude assessment in the PKK course for Nursing Students in Semester VIII STIKes Medistra Indonesia in 2022.Conclusion : There is a Relationship between Knowledge of Therapeutic Communication and attitude assessment in the PKK course by Nursing Students in Semester VIII of STIKes Medistra Indonesia in 2022.

Abstract

Therapeutic communication facilitates nursing actions by a nurse to patients and minimizes the occurrence of errors and misunderstandings in the process of nursing actions. Good knowledge of therapeutic communication will have a positive impact on nurse behavior. The application of therapeutic communication by nurses is one form of real performance from nurses to patients. This research uses descriptive quantitative method and cross sectional research design. The population in this study was the nursing profession students of the Class of 2017 totaling 89 students who were practicing. The research sample was taken using non-probability sampling purposive sampling type. Research shows that there is a relationship between knowledge of therapeutic communication and application of therapeutic communication to nursing profession students (P value = 0.000) which means there is a significant positive relationship between knowledge of therapeutic communication and application of therapeutic communication. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge about Therapeutic Communication and the Application of Therapeutic Communication in Indonesian Medical Student Nurse Profession Stikes in 2022.

Abstract

Tindakan pemasangan infus merupakan prosedur yang menyebabkan anak mengalami kecemasan dan ketakutan akibat nyeri yang dirasakan saat prosedur tersebut dilakukan, hal ini juga terjadi kepada orang tua pasien. kecemasan orang tua timbul karena adanya kekhawatiran terhadap anak ketika mendapat perawatan yang tidak sesuai, seperti perawat melakukan infus anak secara berulang kali menusukkan jarum saat pemasangan infus. sehingga menyebabkan anak menderita. Dalam keadaan seperti itu, perawat dapat membantu orang tua pasien dengan cara komunikasi terapeutik yaitu mendemonstrasikan prosedur dan mengambil dukungan psikologis orang tua. Tujuan dari peneloitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan komunikasi terapeutik perawat dengan tingkat kecemasan orang tua saat pemasangan infus pada anak di Klinik Annisa Kutagandok 2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian analitik cross sectional dan teknik sampling dengan cara purpposive sampling. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti mengumpulkan data utama dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap yaitu pemberian code data (coding), pengecekan data (editing) dan tabulasi data (tabulating) Sampel penelitian ini adalah 30 orang tua pasien.. Hasil Penelitian didapatkan bahwa dengan tingkat signifikan 95% atau α 5% (0,05) hasil uji Fisher’s Exact diperoleh hasil p-value (0,001) < nilai α (0,05). Hal ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan komunikasi terapeutik perawat dengan tingkat kecemasan orang tua saat pemasangan infus pada anak di klinik Annisa Kutagandok 2023.
