Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Brain Jogging exercises on students' working memory ability. This study employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. Cluster random sampling was used to select participants. The sample in this study were students of class eight grade, which amounted to 29 people. The instrument used was the Merkaufgaben (ME) subtest from the IST (Intelligence Structure Test), designed to assess working memory. Data analysis in this study was performed using SPSS v20. The results of data processing analysis show that there is an effect of Brain Jogging exercises on working memory ability as evidenced by the difference in initial test results of 41.4% in the moderate category and 82.8% in the very high category after being given Brain Jogging exercises so that it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of Brain Jogging exercises on memory ability in junior middle school student in Bandung.

Abstract

Abstract: A robotic-based training aid for forehand strokes in table tennis that utilizes a smartphone as a control medium has not yet been found. This research aims to understand the process of reconstructing a dynamic robot-based table tennis ball launcher as a training aid for forehand stroke accuracy. This type of research uses the ADDIE development method (analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The analysis phase identifies user needs and characteristics, the design phase creates a 3D prototype design, the development phase creates and tests the product, the implementation phase tests the product on UKM members, and the evaluation phase is conducted at each product development stage. The subjects in this study included 1 media expert, 1 material expert, and 21 members of the STKIP Pasundan Table Tennis UKM, with instruments used to measure product quality in the form of questionnaires and surveys. The results of this study indicate that the dynamic robot-based table tennis ball launcher is deemed very feasible (86.65%) with a validity value of (0.510) and a reliability value of (0.518).Therefore, it can be stated that this dynamic robot-based table tennis ball launcher is "very feasible" to be used as an alternative training medium. Consequently, this tool can be recommended for use in technical training processes to enhance focus. Keywords: Tool reconstruction, ball thrower, table tennis.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the driving factors behind the achievement of rowing athletes' performance among students. Sports achievement is not only influenced by physical abilities but also by various other supporting factors such as motivation, social environment, facilities and infrastructure, as well as the roles of coaches and parents. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation and in-depth interviews. The subjects in this study were student rowing athletesin the Setu Ciburuy area. The results of the study show that the dominant factors driving student athletes’ performance in rowing sports include interrelated internal and external factors. In addition, participation in various competitions is also an important factor in improving athletes’ experience and competitive mentality. These findings are expected toserve as evaluation material for sports clubs, regional authorities, and related institutions in efforts to develop rowing sports achievements among students.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the effectiveness of using tennis learning aids in improving tennis stroke skills at the beginner level. The research method used is a Systematic Literature Review with an Agile SLR approach through searching national and international scientific articles in the period 2019–2025. Of the 74 identified articles, 17 articles were deemed eligible for analysis. The results showed that 71% of the articles discussed the use of technology-based aids such as interactive multimedia, automatic ball throwing machines, artificial intelligence-based robots, and motion sensors, which have been proven to increase training efficiency, provide rapid feedback, and enrich learning innovation. Meanwhile, 29% of the articles emphasized non-technological aids in the form of simple equipment modifications such as low-compression balls, scaled rackets, and mini courts that effectively support basic training, reduce the risk of injury, and facilitate technique adaptation for beginners. The conclusion of this study confirms that there are two types of tennis learning aids at the beginner level to improve stroke skills: both technological and non-technological learning aids are considered effective in improving tennis stroke skills, especially at the beginner level. Therefore, integrating both is an ideal strategy to improve stroke skills for beginners..
