Abstract

Breakwater is a coastal building structure built to protect facilities in coastal areas. To protect from challenging climatic conditions, this building plays an important role to protect the port from waves and reduce wave energy that will hit the port so that the waves that come and hit the port have broken and will not interfere with shipping activities in the port water area. After the breakwater building at Patimban port was completed in 2021, there is a problem, settlement of breakwater as high as ± 2.7 m which is known from the results of monitoring during the maintenance period for 730 days or for 2 years after the breakwater construction period. In order for the settlement to be overcome, it is necessary to analyze the immediate settlement, settlement in primary consolidation, settlement in secondary consolidation, degree of consolidation of the soil layer under the breakwater structure appropriately so that the value of the settlement can be known and can choose improvements for the decrease in breakwater elevation with existing conditions at Patimban port.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of competency and prosperity of employees on facility utilization and the impact on terminal productivity. Container terminal is the means of trade for in and out of goods at the port. provision of terminal facilities such as docks, stacking yards, pools for docking and also goods handling equipment for loading and unloading. KSO container terminal Koja is a subsidiary of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II and cooperation with PT Hutchison Port Indonesia. Koja terminal serves loading and unloading of goods both nationally and internationally and has a strategically important role in the growth of industry and trade as well as a business sector that contributes to national development. The research was conducted on operational employees by using quantitative methods technical path analysis. The result concluded that there is a direct influence on the utilization of facilities, the effect is significant. There is a direct influence of competence on terminal productivity, the effect is significant. There is a direct influence of facility utilization on terminal productivity, the effect is significant. There is a direct effect of welfare on terminal productivity, the effect is significant. There is an effect of total competence on the productivity of the terminal through the utilization of facilities and there is the effect of total welfare on the productivity of the terminal through the utilization of facilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the loading and unloading activities on Pelni ships and the relationship of ship loading and unloading productivity to the ship berthing time on Pelni ships by PT SBN at Tanjung Priok Port. This research method uses quantitative analysis, where the data obtained are company data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 25 software. The results of this study state that loading and unloading productivity in 2020 and 2021 has the highest average, 12 Teus/Gang/Hour. The longest time for ships to berth in 2020 is 25.36 hours, and in 2021 the longest time for ships to berth is 23.06 hours. From the calculation result of simple regression show that there is a positive relationship between loading and unloading productivity and the time the ship is thetered. After testing the hypothesis, there is a significant relationship between loading and unloading productivity (Variable X) and berthing time (Variable Y). However, the productivity of loading and unloading and the time of berthing still need to be considered and improved to produce maximum results and the company does not suffer losses or decrease in quality.

Abstract

The length of waiting time for ships at Tanjung Priok Port with an average length of service for ships at the Terminal reaches 0.50 hours for ships carrying domestic goods and 0.46 hours for ships carrying goods abroad. With the Sequential Searching approach algorithm with a manufacturing model using the Arena simulation application, the aim is to find out what simulation model can optimize mooring ships so that they can find ship waiting times in the queue using an approach to find ship sizes that can be used at the Tanjung Priok port container terminal so that ship mooring services can be optimal Based on the analysis carried out it is still not optimal for mooring services for small ships with an average of 153.61 hours, and there is still a high waiting time with an average of 52.59 hours, and after a simulation model for mooring services has been carried out there is a decrease in the average service time from 47.47 hours to 29.72 hours, which is 37.37%. The decrease in time indicates that the simulation used for tethering with 3 moorings is optimal.
