Islamic community in Java, rich in heritage that is the legacy of their ancestors, including the legacy of literary works and history. These works, in substance reflects the community's culture, which has a soul that is very unique time and unique. Recognized that Islam in Java grow and develop naturallythrough interaction with local culture. This process continued until the end of Islam that developed in Java known as the Islamic Javanese beliefs, Islam has experienced aculturatif and syncretic. Javanese Islamic model can be traced through the works that have left a legacy, one of whom is the workRanggawarsita, Serat Wirid Hidayat Jati.

Abstract: The Bersih Desa tradition is a traditional activity that is carried out once a year with the aim of praying for the safety of the village and being grateful for the blessings that have been given by God. The research entitled "The Existence of the Bersih Desa Tradition (Case Study in Baleturi Village, Prambon District, Nganjuk Regency)" focuses on: 1. The history of the clean village tradition, 2. The implementation of the bersih desa tradition, and 3. Functions and elements of religion in the implementation of the tradition Baleturi Village. This research is a qualitative research with historical method. The approach used is an anthropological approach that produces descriptive data and is used to reveal the values of Islamic teachings that are expressed in the bersih desa tradition in Baleturi Village. While the theory used by the author is the theory of religious ceremonies from Koentjaraningrat and the theory of functionalism from Radcliffe Brown. The results of this study indicate that: First, the bersih desa tradition is estimated to have been carried out about 50 years ago in Baleturi Village and is carried out once a year in the month of Suro. Second, a series of events in the implementation of the bersih desa tradition includes the preparation stage and the implementation stage. Third, the functions contained in this bersih desa tradition are social functions and spiritual functions. While the elements of the Islamic religion contained include deliberation, pilgrimage to the grave, tahlil and istighosah, alms, and compensation for orphans. This research is entitled Semiotic Analysis of Journalistic Photos of the Football Tragedy at Kanjuruhan Stadium on the Online Media Detik.Com. The Kanjuruhan tragedy is a bloody football tragedy which resulted in many victims falling and hundreds of lives lost. This bloody tragedy occurred on October 1 2022 at the Kanjuruhan Stadium in Malang. Detik.com. The aim of the research is to find out how the analysis of photojournalism published by online media detik.com regarding the Kanjuruhan Tragedy at the Kanjuruhan Stadium in Malang is explained through signifiers and signifieds. This research uses qualitative research methods with a research approach by Ferdinand De Saussure. Then this research uses primary and secondary data types. Data collection techniques use observation and documentation methods. This research concludes that every photo of the Kanjuruhan Tragedy that has been examined has a fairly representative meaning in depicting the atmosphere at the time the Kanjuruhan Tragedy occurred. These several photos can explain to us how scary and terrible it was when the tragedy was taking place.

The teachings of Tijaniyah Tariqa have distinctive characteristics and unique. The aim of this research is to describe the condition of the manuscript of Syarah al-Mufid ‘Ala al-Muniyatul Murid (SMAMM); identifying and elucidating the sufistic values contained within it, which are connected with the principles of the Tijaniyyyah Tariqa and the values upheld by it; and discussing the relevance of the content of the SMAMM manuscript in relation to the development of the Tijaniyyah Tariqa in the present time. The method employed is philological research with a semiotic approach. The importance findings indicate that the condition of the SMAMM manuscript is still in good and legible and the content of this manuscript encompasses the core values and principle of the Tijaniyyah Tariqa. The sufism values revealed in the SMAMM manuscript remain highly relevant for application in the lives of Muslims today.

Abstract: This study aims to find out (1) the history of the establishment of the Jami' Tegalsari Jetis Mosque, Ponorogo Regency (2) the Social Function of the Jami' Tegalsari Jetis Mosque, Ponorogo Regency (3) The Architecture of the Jami' Tegalsari Jetis Mosque, Ponorogo Regency. This study uses a historical approach and a cultural approach by Koentjaraningrat, which states that architectural works are one of the most concrete forms of culture. The historical approach is used to describe the history and development of the Tegalsari Ponorogo Jami Mosque. There are two theories used to facilitate this research, namely, the theory of Continuity and Change and the functional theory. The meaning analysis is used in research to reveal and describe symbols and symbols that act as language in architecture. While the method used in this study is the historical method with heuristic, verification, interpretation, and historiographical stages. The results of the data analysis can be concluded that (1) the Tegalsari Ponorogo Jami Mosque was founded in 1724 AD by Kyai Ageng Muhammad Besari. This mosque has undergone various developments in terms of buildings which are seen regularly from 1978 until now. (2) Historically the Tegalsari Ponorogo Jami Mosque has had a social function for people's lives as one of the efforts to prosper the mosque. (3) In the architecture of the Tegalsari Ponorogo Jami Mosque there are meanings and cultural elements that accompany the beauty of the mosque building. This research is entitled ‘Media and Social History: Duta Masyarakat Response Towards PKI (Partai Komunis Indonesia) in the Post Gestapu (Gerakan September Tiga Puluh) Tragedy Of 1965’. This research aims to examine how Duta Masyarakat newspaper, as one of the Islamic mass media, responded to the PKI after Gestapu event and how this response shaped public opinion at that time. The approaches used in this research are sociological approach and critical discourse analysis, using agenda setting and framing theories.The results showed that Duta Masyarakat played a crucial role in shaping public opinion towards PKI by emphasising the perspectives of Islam and Nationalism. The media used framing that favoured anti-communist and pro-national stability narratives. by setting a selective news agenda and providing certain framing, Duta Masyarakat succeeded in shaping public opinions and providing legitimacy to repressive action taken by the military and some people’s militia after the Gestapu event

This research aims to analyze strategies for improving literacy for inmates in the Class II A Palembang Women's Prison. Literacy problems among inmates often become a major challenge in the rehabilitation and social reintegration process. The ability to read and write is a fundamental skill that is very important for individuals to participate fully in social life. However, not everyone has the same opportunity to develop this ability, including inmates in correctional institutions. This research is based on the fact that literacy problems are a challenge for inmates, especially in their rehabilitation and social reintegration process. Limited literacy can hinder their access to information, education and job opportunities after leaving prison. Therefore, this research aims to analyze strategies that can improve the reading and writing skills of inmates in class II A women's prisons in the city of Palembang. The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation of prison officers and several inmates who took part in the literacy program. The results of the research show that there are several strategies applied to improve literacy skills, such as telling the program objectives to the inmates and the benefits of the program, providing a comfortable learning environment for the inmates, providing direction to the inmates, providing action, providing relevant and interesting learning.

This research discusses the hijab trend which is increasingly widespread and can be found anywhere, this research was conducted in Mesuji Jaya Village, District. Mesuji Jaya District. Ogan Komering Ilir. The problem in this research is that there are many hijab trends that are widespread and can be found not only in traditional markets but can be found throughout social media such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, online shops and so on, so they have an impact on husband and wife relationships. The aim of this research is to determine the impact of the hijab trend on husband and wife relationships. Data collection tools include interviews, observation and documentation. This research uses qualitative research, namely research that uses a natural setting with the aim of interpreting phenomena that occur and is carried out using various existing methods. So, the data from this research was taken and obtained directly from original sources (not through intermediaries), the data sources in this research were divided into two, namely the first primary data source which was obtained directly from interviews conducted offline and online, while secondary data used as a complement to this research, for example pictures, tables, charts, researchers' data documents. From this research it can be concluded that the impact of the hijab trend on husband and wife relations has two impacts, namely positive and negative impacts. The positive impact can be seen from two aspects, namely the physical aspect (body image component) and the psychological aspect (self-esteem component and role component) in this case it can be seen by the increasingly widespread hijab trend then wives use the hijab to beautify themselves, to maintain The self-esteem and honor of herself and her husband is then done to prove the loyalty, obedience and cooperation carried out by the wife in order to create a harmonious relationship. The negative impact can be seen from the economic aspect where wives tend to be wasteful when managing household finances in order to fulfill their own egos.
