Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the Islamic legal review of the maccera' aqorang tradition in the Bugis community in Lampoko village. The research method used is qualitative research, which consists of field research and literature. The research approach consists of a sociological approach, a philosophical approach, a historical approach, and a normative theological approach. This approach is carried out through the process of investigation, collection, management, analysis, and presentation of data collected through interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the community's view of the maccera' aqorang tradition is a customary process carried out by the Bugis community where the process is by slaughtering a white chicken as a paccera'. This tradition is carried out by the community when their child has completed the Qur'an or has reached a verse that is considered sacred. This tradition has been passed down from generation to generation and should not be abandoned, but if the procession contains anything that is contrary to Islamic law, it must be immediately changed or abandoned. In the last four years, there have been changes in procedures, elements that are considered negative have been eliminated, and the process no longer contains values that are contrary to Islamic law. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the forms of politeness in student discussions. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive design. Data collection techniques include observation, notes, and recording the forms and functions of politeness expressed in student discussions. Data analysis techniques are carried out through data transcription, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the forms of politeness in the classroom have fulfilled the six maxims starting from the maxim of wisdom/wisdom, the maxim of generosity, the maxim of praise/appreciation, the maxim of humility/simplicity, the maxim of agreement/agreement and the maxim of sympathy. However, it was revealed that the maxim of generosity was the most frequently found in student speech while the maxim of humility was the least found. Thus, it can be concluded that the class has fulfilled the overall impression of language, although it still needs to be strengthened on the maxim of humility.

Abstract

Creativity and plagiarism remain key challenges in learning Ragam Hias (Decorative Motif Design). Common problems include repetitive ideas, reliance on peers’ work, limited originality, and low self-confidence. Additionally, existing learning models often lack relevance to students’ needs, while assessment standards are not tailored to course characteristics. This study aimed to develop and evaluate the Ethno Discovery Project syntax integrated with Ethno-Design literacy. The development process involved validation, practicality, and effectiveness testing across three student groups. Expert validation showed good validity (0.71) and high reliability (ICC = 0.775). Practicality was rated very good by both observers (0.79) and students (0.77). Effectiveness testing revealed a significant increase in student scores from 5.45 to 9.77 (p < 0.001), with high learning activity (82.22%) and interest (81.58%). The results indicate that this syntax is effective, applicable, and culturally relevant for contextual learning in vocational design education.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of students’ environmental awareness and responsibility, the suboptimal implementation of school regulations, limited facilities, and minimal socialization at SD Negeri 28 Peusangan. The study aimed to describe the implementation of school programs in developing students’ environmental awareness and responsibility in Science Learning. This study employed a qualitative approach and was conducted at SD Negeri 28 Peusangan . Key informants consisted of teachers, students (Grades III and VI), and the principal. Data were collected through structured interviews, and were validated using source triangulation and member checking. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative descriptive methods, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusions .The results showed that the program implementation was carried out systematically and hierarchically, supported by strong collaboration among school leadership policies, teacher mentoring, and active student participation. Students’ attitude transformation evolved from reactive compliance in lower grades to intrinsic awareness and proactive leadership in higher grades. The development strategies focused on integrating values through developmentally oriented habituation, combining role modeling with the provision of tangible facilities, and evolving from reward-based approaches to full trust and project-based responsibility in Science Learning. The core strategy was positioning students as agents of change, enabling responsibility to grow from a sense of ownership of the school environment.
