Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of using audio-visual media on the learning outcomes of writing news texts of Class XI SMA Negeri 1 Gowa students. The method used in this research is pre-experiment with quantitative approach. Data collection techniques using written tests with descriptive and inferential data analysis techniques. The results of this study showed that students' learning outcomes before using audio visual media obtained an average score of 51.50. Student learning outcomes after using audio visual media obtained an average score of 78.70. The use of audio visual media can be concluded to have an influence in improving the learning outcomes of students in class XI SMA Negeri 1.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of Educaplay educational game on reading learning outcomes of students in class X.2 SMANi 1 Gowa. This research is a type of quantitative research with the research design used is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample totalled 36 students. The instrument used in the study was a multiple choice test. Data analysis techniques used in this research are descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that the motivation and understanding after using Educaplay educational games of class X.2 SMAN 1 Gowa students were categorised as quite good with an average score of 60.14.  The motivation and understanding after using Educaplay educational game of students of class X.2 SMAN 1 Gowa is categorised as good with an average score of 79.86; (3) the result of hypothesis testing shows that the sig.(2-tailed) value is 0.000 <0.05. Thus, there is an effect of Educaplay educational game on the motivation and understanding of students of class X.2 SMA Negeri 1 Gowa.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the form and influence of slang variety on the shift of Indonesian language in the communication of students of SMA Negeri 8 Makassar. describe the factors that cause the shift of Indonesian language of SMA Negeri 8 Makassar students. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, the data sources of this research are conversations and student interview results. The form of data in this research is phrases and sentences in slang used by students in communicating in the school environment. Data collection techniques in this research are observation and interview techniques. The data analysis technique in this research uses Miles and Huberman data analysis, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that (1) the influence of slang variety on Indonesian language shifts in student communication is seen from changes in the structure of phonology, morphology, syntax, and lexicon, which are manifested in 8 forms, namely, pronouns, acronyms, abbreviations, absorption, shortening, inversion, new words, and improvisation of the original word. (2) The factors that cause Indonesian language shift in the communication of SMA Negeri 8 Makassar students are social environment, culture, technological development and social media.

Abstract

Digital transformation in education demands teachers' readiness to utilize technology, including digital learning accounts such as belajar.id provided by the government. However, the reality in the field shows that many teachers in rural areas have not optimized these accounts due to limited digital literacy. This service activity aims to improve the competence of SD Negeri No. 28 Inpres Luaor teachers in activating and optimally utilizing learning accounts. The method used includes identification of partner needs, activity planning, training implementation, and evaluation and follow-up. The results showed that all participants were able to activate their learning.id accounts and understand the basic functions of Google Workspace for Education services. This training made the majority of participants able to apply the services contained in the belajar.id account. The training also succeeded in increasing teachers' confidence in using technology and triggering continuous learning initiatives through teacher learning groups. Using a contextual and participatory approach, the training proved effective in empowering teachers in rural school settings to adopt learning technology more actively and sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of directive speech acts used by health workers in medical services at the Kampala Community Health Centre in Sinjai Regency and the function of directive speech acts used by health workers in medical services at the Kampala Community Health Centre in Sinjai Regency. This study is a qualitative study. This research was conducted at the Kampala Community Health Centre in Sinjai Regency. The research design is descriptive-qualitative. The focus of this research is data in the form of utterances in the form of speech acts expressed by health workers in providing medical services to patients. The source of research data is health workers. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, recording, note-taking, and documentation. The results of the study reveal that the forms of directive speech acts used by health workers are declarative directive speech acts, interrogative directive speech acts, and imperative directive speech acts. The functions of directive speech acts used by health workers are command, question, prohibition, advice, request, and permission. The use of various forms of directive speech acts by healthcare workers is represented so that patients receive treatment and recovery. The use of various functions of directive speech acts by healthcare workers is represented in order to provide information and help patients achieve recovery
