Abstract

In this era, with all the advances in IT and technology as well as changes in social dynamics, it has brought a number of big challenges to the development of Islamic education in Indonesia. Therefore, a deep understanding of these challenges is the main key to implementing effective solutions in aligning Islamic values ​​with the needs of contemporary developments. This research is qualitative research with priority on literature-based critical analysis. The way to conduct this research is to use the narrative method. In critical studies, understanding the context of the challenges of Islamic education in today's exploitative era. This research aims to analyze phenomena or dynamics from an Islamic perspective and strategic efforts to face these challenges. The research results show that the challenges of Islamic education in the current era include (1) The existence of an approach with a worldly orientation, (2) The influence of social media, (3) New approaches in the field of IT-based Islamic education (4) Technology application-based approaches. The strategies and efforts made to answer the challenges of Islamic education in the current era can be formulated as follows: (1) Instilling the values ​​of Islamic education in a comprehensive manner, (2) Approach to Karimah Moral Education in the younger generation, (3) considering the Islamic education system, (4) Improving the quality of teacher resources with an Islamic character, (4) Adapting to applications and technology.

Abstract

Seeing the reality of Indonesian society, there are very many people who are educated but they are not yet close to noble character. This is a serious step for the nation to fix deficiencies in education, one of which is through learning and memorizing the holy verses of the Koran from an early age. This is expected to be able to improve the quality of education and create a generation of people with noble character. This is also so that children are happy with the Qur'an as a guide for human life, if the way it is conveyed is also fun, of course this requires a learning method for tahfidz al-Qur'an to support success. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach by taking the background of the Tahfidz Baytul Huffadz House. The research was conducted starting in February 2017 in Ledug Village 02/06 Kel. Keroncong Kec. Jatiuwung Tangerang City. The informants were 3 students, 1 Al-Qur'an teaching staff, and 1 head of the Tahfidz House. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation and interviews. Then the data is transcribed into complete data. Data transcripts were analyzed using deductive, inductive methods.The results of the study show that the method applied in learning the tahfidz of the Qur'an is very useful for improving the performance of the Baytul Huffadz Tahfidz House and its role as an educational institution in improving the quality of education and creating a generation of noble people.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kata sami’a dalam Al-Qur’an serta menggali beberapa tafsiran dari ayat ayat tersebut dimana akan diperoleh sebuah pemamahaman yang lebih komprehensif terkait definisi mendengarkan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualititatif dengan pendekatan tafsir maudhui. Adapaun Langkah-langkah penelitian adalah penulis menghimpun beberapa ayat Al-Qur’an yang memiliki unsur kata sami’a, kemudian penulisan analisis ayat-ayat tersebut dengan pendekatan tafsir. Dalam penelitian ini, disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan mendengarkan perspektif Al-Qur’an adalah kemampuan menanggapi sebuah pesan Al-Qur’an yang diperdengarkan dengan seksama, khusu’ dan penuh penghayatan sehinga mampu meningkatkan keimanan dengan jalan menjalankan segala perintah dan menjauhi segala larangan berdasarkan pesan Al-Qur’an yang telah disampaikan atau diperdengarkan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of principal supervision and teacher work ethic on teacher discipline at MTs in Pinang District, Tangerang City. The method used in this research is a survey research method. The variables in the research consist of two independent variables, namely supervision of the madrasa head as a variable (X1), teacher work ethic as a variable (X2), and one dependent variable, namely teacher discipline as a variable (Y). The sample in this study was 102 teachers taken randomly. Based on the results of the regression and influence analysis, it is known that the supervision of madrasah heads has an influence on teacher discipline. Based on the t test analysis, it shows that the t value is 15.056. After comparing, it turns out that the tcount value is greater than ttable (15.056 > 2.625), so it can be concluded that the supervision of the madrasa head (X1) has a significant effect on teacher discipline (Y). The teacher's work ethic has an influence on teacher discipline. The t test analysis shows that the tcount value is 15.456, after comparing it turns out that the tcount value is greater than ttable (15.456 > 2.625), so it can be concluded that teacher work ethic (X1) has a significant effect on teacher discipline. The results of the regression and influence analysis show that the supervision of the madrasa head and the teacher's work ethic have an influence on teacher discipline. Based on the results of the F test, it is known that the calculated F value is 259.96. After comparing, it turns out that the calculated F value is greater than the F table (259.96 > 19.486), so it can be concluded that the supervision of the madrasa head (X1) and the teacher's work ethic (X2) together they have a very significant effect on teacher discipline (Y). Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the influence of madrasa head supervision (X1) and teacher work ethic (X2) on teacher discipline (Y) obtained a coefficient of determination of 0.840. This means that the supervision of the madrasa head (X1) and the teacher's work ethic (X2) together have an influence of around 84% on teacher discipline in MTs throughout Pinang District, Tangerang City. Based on the findings of the research results showing that there is a direct positive and significant influence of the supervision of madrasa principals and the work ethic of teachers together on the discipline of MTs teachers throughout Pinang District, Tangerang City, in order to improve the quality of education, it is recommended: School principal supervision of teachers should be carried out optimally through monitoring, assessment and guidance by planning, implementing and following up, so that teachers become aware of regulations, both those made by the school and the government. Enforcement of school discipline can be done through optimizing the supervision of madrasah heads towards teachers and increasing teacher work ethic.

Abstract

The discussion method is a way of presenting teaching materials with the teacher giving students or groups the opportunity to hold scientific discussions in order to gather opinions, make conclusions, or develop various alternative solutions to a problem. Meanwhile, learning outcomes are the value of student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education subjects. So in this research, in the field of Islamic religious education, the goal is to guide students to better know and understand the procedures related to changes in a Muslim, both in relation to God, humans and nature so that the objectives of learning can be achieved. This research is correlational research with two variables, namely the first variable X (discussion method) and variable Y (learning outcomes). The target population is all students at the MAN 1 Tangerang School, totaling 742. And the target population for class XI MAN 1 Tangerang is 117 students. The sample was taken using the Non Probability Quota technique, namely in class XI as many as 38 students. And researchers use product moment analysis. The results of calculations using the product moment correlation formula obtained a calculated r of 0.34, then the results were compared with the tabael r with a significance level of 5%, which was 0.32, meaning the calculated r was greater than the table r. Thus the null hypothesis which states that there is no significant positive influence between the discussion method on student learning outcomes in the field of Islamic religious education is rejected. Thus the research results conclude that there is a positive influence between the discussion method on student learning outcomes in the field of Islamic religious education studies in material on commendable morals and despicable morals at XI MAN 1 Tangerang.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan proses dari peberdayaan potensi dalam diri manusia serta pengembangan intelektualitas pemikiran. Bila kita menengok kembali kemajuan peradaban yang pernah dicapai Islam pada abad pertengahan, hal itu tak lepas dari keberhasilan dunia pendidikan pada zaman itu, kota-kota Islam telah menjelma menjadi pusat pendidikan dan peradaban yang sangat maju. Adapun metode penelitian yang diguanakan dalam riset ini adalah kualitatif dimana menggunakan kajian pustaka yang mengumpulkan berbagai leterature yang ada. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah Dalam pemikiran filsafat Al-Ghazali, terdapat empat unsur pemikiran filsafat yang mempengaruhinya. Di dalam mendapatkan ilmu al-ghazali memiliki 2 cara yakni melalui bimbingan dan yang kedua melalui tuhan langsung atau dalam hal ini disebut ilmu ladduni. Menurut Al-Ghazali orang sufi benar-benar berada di atas jalan yang benar , berakhlak yang baik dan berpengetahuan. Menurut al- Ghozali konsep pendidikan islam pendidikan merupakan ibadah dan upaya peningkatan kualitas diri. Pendidikan yang baik merupakan jalan untuk mendekatkan diri Allah dan mendapatkan kebahagian dunia-akhirat.
