Abstract

Low self-esteem is a condition where an individual experiences negative self-evaluation of his abilities. Giving TAK effective stimulation of perception supported by the environment where the therapy is given, and willingness to participate in activities, it is expected to overcome low self-esteem can also perceive what is described properly and appropriate. Purpose: to apply mental nursing care to tn. y with low self-esteem in an effort to increase self-esteem with group activity therapy. Research methods: descriptive research methods with case studies. Research Results: Based on the results of the study, there was no gap between the theory and the results of the study. Conclusion: Group Activity Therapy (Stimulation of Perception) can increase the client's self-esteem.

Abstract

Mahasiswa praktek merupakan individu yang mengaplikasikan teori yang dimiliki di RS dengan harapan mahasiswa akan menumbuhkan kepercayaan diri untuk menjadi seorang individu perawat dewasa. Harapan mahasiswa tersebut belum terpenuhi karena adanya rutinitas yang dilakukan mahasiswa setiap harinyadan tidak sesuai dengan peran dan fungsi mahasiswa di RS sehingga menimbulkan anggapan bahwa mahasiswa praktik hanya dapat membantu perawat sesuai dengan yang diinstruksikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi perawat tentang peran dan fungsi mahasiswa praktek di RSJD Dr. Amino Gondohutomo Semarang. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis.  Sampel dilakukan secara purposif, berjumlah 4 partisipan. Teknik pengambilan data dengan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa persepsi perawat tentang peran mahasiswa praktek yaitu peran mahasiswa sebagai eduktor, caregiver, kolaborator dan konselor seperti membantu merubah perilaku, melakukan pengkajian menentukan diagnosa keperawatan, membantu melakukan terapi untuk pasien, memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari pasien, mendiskusikan bentuk pelayanan selanjutnya untuk pasien dan melakukan interaksi dengan pasien. Peran dan fungsi mahasiswa praktek tidak maksimal di RS. Saran dari peneliti bagi mahasiswa praktek adalah lebih aktif bertanya ketika di RS. Bagi RS dapat melakukan evaluasi dari mahasiswa praktek untuk pembimbing/CI pada akhir stase praktek.

Abstract

Clinical reasoning (clinical reasoning) is a special skill that must be possessed by a health worker, one of whom is a nurse (Noorman, 2005). This skill is one example of critical thinking skills. The clinical learning strategy that can be used is the SNAPPS method. The purpose of this systematic review is to find out the clinical learning strategy of the SNAPPS method for clinical reasoning in clinical practice students. Articles searched through Ebsco, Sciencedirect, PubMed and Google search are performed using advanced search with the keywords SNAPPS, clinical Reasioning and student clinical practice. The study inclusion criterion was limited search of 2005-2015 which can be accessed fulltext in pdf format with RCT and Quasi Experiment designs conducted on clinical practice students. The intervention in the form of SNAPPS method with the comparison of usual and customary methods with outcomes measures the ability of clinical reasoning in clinical practice students. Exclusion criteria include only abstracts and no English. The appropriate article is then analyzed using the critical appraisal tool that is appropriate for the results of the RCT and QE research to assess the quality of the study. Data extracted from articles and then grouped to be discussed and concluded. The results of 3 articles obtained 2 RCT (Randomized Control Trials) and 1 Quasi Experiment article. The results of the discussion showed that the SNAPPS method is more effective than the usual and customary group methods in improving clinical reasoning abilities for students who practice clinics. The author recommends to the education party to be able to implement the clinical learning method of the SNAAPS method and it is recommended to further researchers to conduct further research so that it can enrich the evidence scientifically.
