Abstract

This study aims to determine students' ability to write scientific papers and also find out the obstacles experienced by students in scientific writing. Management study program students at STIE MBI (Indonesian Business Management) are the object of this research, and quantitative-descriptive is the research method used in this research. All students enrolled in the STIE MBI management study program for semester 7 (seven) of the 2022–2023 academic year were included in this study population. The sample consisted of 35 students who were randomly selected. Data for the Risk Management and Organizational Culture course are collected in the form of scientific papers, which are then analyzed using research instrument tables. Based on the research findings, it was found that 26% of the students got good marks, followed by 51% who got enough marks (18 students), 14% who got low scores (5 students), and 9% who got very low scores (3 students). So the conclusion is that the competency abilities of STIE MBI (Indonesian Business Management) management study program students in writing scientific papers are on average sufficient or moderate; it is necessary to improve.

Abstract

Hotel performance is the main factor to support the sustainability of the hotel business. Therefore, companies need to continue to maintain hotel performance to survive. The research aims to examine the effect of strategic agility, open innovation, and hospitality performance in the hotel industry in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia. Open innovation is the intervening variable that will be tested. The quantitative research method approach used was used in this study. Samples were obtained from as many as 97 respondents. This study's respondents were hotel industry employees, namely Reddorz and Oyo in Indonesia. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the structural equation modeling method. Research shows that there is an influence between strategic agility on open innovation, strategic agility and open innovation have an effect on hospitality performance. The results of the study also show that open innovation mediates the effect of strategic agility on hospitality performance.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam strategi pemasaran, khususnya bagi pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Di Yogyakarta, sebagai salah satu pusat ekonomi kreatif dan budaya di Indonesia, UMKM memiliki peran strategis dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal. Namun, di tengah kompetisi pasar digital yang semakin ketat, banyak UMKM di Yogyakarta menghadapi tantangan dalam menyajikan visual produk yang menarik dan profesional. Artikel ini membahas pentingnya optimalisasi foto produk sebagai strategi pemasaran digital untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan omset UMKM di Yogyakarta. Foto produk yang berkualitas tinggi tidak hanya mencerminkan profesionalisme, tetapi juga berpengaruh langsung terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen, meningkatkan konversi, serta memperkuat identitas merek lokal. Dengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip fotografi produk seperti kejelasan visual, konsistensi tampilan, teknik pencahayaan, serta editing yang tepat, UMKM di Yogyakarta dapat meningkatkan daya tarik produk mereka secara signifikan di platform seperti Instagram, Facebook, marketplace, maupun website. Studi pendukung menunjukkan bahwa investasi UMKM dalam pelatihan fotografi produk berdampak nyata terhadap peningkatan omset.

Abstract

SMEs play a key role in promoting environmental sustainability. One important aspect is the adoption of green innovation to enhance environmental performance. This study explores research trends on green innovation in SMEs using bibliometric analysis based on 229 publications from the Web of Science database. The analysis, conducted with VOSviewer, covers publication patterns, leading journals, most cited and productive authors, keyword trends, and future research directions. The Journal of Cleaner Production emerged as the top journal, while Afum Ebenezer, Agyabeng-Mensah, and Charles Dad were among the most prolific authors. Jiangsu University was the most productive institution. Future research is expected to explore themes like open innovation, green HRM, green finance, and competitive advantage. This study is limited to SMEs and the Web of Science database, suggesting the need for broader future studies across other sectors. This bibliometric analysis contributes new insights into the intersection of green innovation and SMEs.
