Abstract

Virtual theology provides new understanding and practice in church ministry, especially in the Pejabaran Injil Church in Manado to convey the news of salvation and build the congregation. This study aims to identify how digital technology such as social media and online platforms expand the reach of ministry, strengthen the spiritual relationship of the congregation, and improve the congregation's understanding of the Gospel. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with interview techniques. The results of the study show that virtual theology plays an important role in online worship, the use of multimedia, and social media as a means of sharing reflections and spiritual strengthening. Although there are challenges such as the limitations of the congregation's adaptation to digital worship, the presence of this technology helps the congregation to be more active, resilient in faith, and responsive to developments in the era. Thus, virtual theology reflects the Christian spirit in realizing God's mission through relevant and contextual service in the digital era. Teologi virtual memberikan pemahaman dan praktik baru dalam pelayanan gereja, khususnya di Gereja Pejabaran Injil Manado untuk menyampaikan berita keselamatan dan membangun jemaat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi bagaimana teknologi digital seperti media sosial dan platform daring memperluas jangkauan pelayanan, memperkuat hubungan spiritual jemaat, dan meningkatkan pemahaman jemaat akan Injil. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teologi virtual berperan penting dalam ibadah online, penggunaan multimedia, dan media sosial sebagai sarana membagikan renungan serta penguatan rohani. Meskipun terdapat tantangan seperti keterbatasan adaptasi jemaat terhadap ibadah digital, kehadiran teknologi ini membantu jemaat menjadi lebih aktif, tangguh dalam iman, dan responsif terhadap perkembangan zaman. Dengan demikian, teologi virtual mencerminkan semangat Kristiani dalam mewujudkan misi Allah melalui pelayanan yang relevan dan kontekstual di era digital.

Abstract

Cultural transformation in today's global society brings both challenges and opportunities for the implementation of contextual mission, especially in the digital era. Cultural contexts influenced by globalization and technological advances demand missiological strategies that are able to adapt to the changing dynamics of society. Digitalization creates new spaces for cross-cultural interaction, but also introduces complexities such as changing cultural identities, weakening traditional values, and increasing secularism. This research aims to analyze the main challenges facing contextual missions in the digital age, including the technology gap, the diversity of cultural interpretations, and the need for more inclusive dialogue. It also highlights opportunities such as increased access to communication, the potential of global networks, and the formation of digital communities that support spiritual and social transformation. This research utilizes a qualitative-descriptive approach with a literature study data collection method that contributes to the development of missiology discourse by offering a conceptual framework for contextually relevant missions in the digital age. The research results provide new insights for practitioners and academics in responding to contextual needs through a more creative, inclusive, and technology-based approach. With this transformation of understanding, contextual mission can play a more effective role in building cross-cultural relationships, supporting social change, and creating spiritual significance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami pengaruh kepemimpinan Kristen terhadap loyalitas, perilaku, dan kinerja pengurus di Persekutuan Gereja-Gereja Pentakosta Indonesia (PGPI) Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Kepemimpinan merupakan faktor penting dalam keberhasilan organisasi keagamaan, di mana pemimpin berperan dalam mengarahkan, memotivasi, dan memberdayakan pengurus untuk mencapai tujuan bersama. Namun, masih terbatas pemahaman tentang dinamika kepemimpinan Kristen dan dampaknya terhadap aspek-aspek loyalitas, perilaku, dan kinerja pengurus dalam konteks PGPI Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman, persepsi, dan pemahaman pengurus PGPI Provinsi DKI Jakarta terkait pengaruh kepemimpinan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan pengurus yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi tema-tema kunci yang muncul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan oleh pemimpin PGPI Provinsi DKI Jakarta, seperti kepemimpinan transformasional dan melayani, memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas pengurus. Pemimpin yang menginspirasi, memberdayakan, dan menunjukkan kepedulian terhadap pengurus mendorong peningkatan komitmen dan dedikasi terhadap organisasi.

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of God's alienation in modern secular societies through a comparative theological analysis of Tawheed in Islam and the Trinity in Christianity, using these concepts as its primary units of analysis. The research aims to examine how these two fundamental doctrines respond to the challenges of secularism, individualism, and materialism in shaping modern religious consciousness. Using a literature-based comparative theological approach combined with hermeneutic-analytical methods, this study integrates classical and contemporary sources, along with sociological data from global surveys, such as those conducted by the Pew Research Center and the World Values Survey. The findings reveal three key factors contributing to spiritual alienation: the crisis of transcendence, the individualization of belief, and the dominance of materialistic culture. Despite doctrinal differences, both Tawheed and the Trinity face similar struggles in maintaining theological relevance among younger and urban populations that are increasingly skeptical of religious authority. The study contributes to comparative theology by proposing a contextual model for reinterpreting the concept of divinity that balances transcendence with human experience. It also highlights the need to strengthen interfaith dialogue, digital engagement, and contextual theology to ensure that the concept of God remains a transformative moral and spiritual force in the twenty-first century.
