Abstract

Latar Belakang: penelitian ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan mendesak untuk memahami dampak pandemi Covid-19 terhadap layanan kesehatan ibu di puskesmas, terutama di tengah tantangan aksesibilitas dan keamanan dalam pelayanan medis. Dengan perubahan drastis dalam pola hidup dan akses terhadap fasilitas kesehatan selama pandemi, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi inovasi dan adaptasi yang diperlukan dalam menyediakan layanan kesehatan ibu yang efektif dan aman. Metode: Pendekatan Most Significant Change (MSC) dipilih untuk mengeksplorasi perubahan-perubahan penting dalam praktik dan persepsi penyelenggara layanan serta pasien, menjelaskan dinamika perubahan yang terjadi di lapangan. Hasil: Hasil FGD terhadap beberapa tenaga kesehatan, khususnya bidan di beberapa Puskesmas mendeskripsikan bahwa berbagai perubahan yang signifikan dalam tata cara layanan kesehatan ibu diselenggarakan dan diakses selama krisis di tingkat Puskesmas, meliputi penggunaan teknologi, penerapan layanan kesehatan ibu dengan mematuhi aturan yang ketat, kontribusi masyarakat, dan mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan dalam menyediakan layanan kesehatan ibu selama pandemi. Kesimpulan: penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya adaptasi, inovasi lokal, dan kolaborasi dalam membangun ketahanan sistem kesehatan masyarakat, termasuk penyediaan layanan kesehatan ibu dalam menghadapi krisis global seperti pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

Hypertension is a disease that is often experienced by older people. Some factors that can cause hypertension include obesity, unhealthy lifestyles and lack of physical activity. Various efforts have been made but hypertension is still the highest disease in every health centre in Jambi City. This service activity aims to educate the elderly to have knowledge about hypertension and implement a healthy lifestyle so that blood pressure can be controlled. Previous research has revealed that ergonomic exercises have a positive impact on controlling blood pressure. Activities that will be carried out in this service include providing education about hypertension and healthy lifestyles, health checks, and implementing ergonomic exercises. After educational activities and routine gymnastics every week, it is known that blood pressure in the elderly who take part in this activity becomes controlled. It is hoped that gymnastic activities and education about hypertension will be carried out regularly so that the health of the elderly will be better.

Abstract

Integrating primary health services is crucial for improving the quality and accessibility of healthcare at the community level. This qualitative study investigates how leaders of Puskesmas define and implement integration within their services, as well as the challenges and factors that influence this process. Ten Puskesmas leaders in several Municipalities of the Province of Jambi and one key informant from the Municipal Department of Health were interviewed to obtain in-depth insights. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews, and the information was analyzed using content analysis methods. The findings indicate that integration is viewed as a multi-dimensional strategy to enhance patient care coordination, maximize resource efficiency, and improve community health outcomes. Key factors affecting integration include leadership styles, inter-departmental collaboration, and the support provided by municipal health authorities. This study underscores the importance of robust leadership and strategic partnerships in facilitating service integration at the primary health center level, providing valuable insights for policymakers and healthcare administrators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas Moderasi Beragama sebagai Solusi Konflik dan Perdamaian Dunia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode deskriptif-analitis. Hasil dan pembahasan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa moderasi beragama dapat berfungsi sebagai pendekatan preventif dalam meredam ekstremisme, meningkatkan toleransi, serta memperkuat harmoni sosial di masyarakat multikultural. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendidikan dan media juga memiliki peran strategis dalam menyebarkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih inklusif dan damai. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sinergi antara pemerintah, lembaga agama, dan masyarakat sipil dalam menerapkan prinsip moderasi beragama sebagai strategi resolusi konflik yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan kepada pemerintah dan masyarakat untuk terus mengembangkan pendidikan berbasis moderasi beragama, memperkuat dialog antaragama, serta memanfaatkan media sebagai sarana edukasi untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih damai dan inklusif.

Abstract

Reproductive health is a critical aspect of adolescent development, yet gender disparities persist in access to information and services, particularly in Indonesia. This study explores how Public Health students at Universitas Jambi perceive gender-based inequalities in adolescent reproductive health, aiming to understand how future health professionals interpret and respond to these challenges. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, involving three focus group discussions with 24 undergraduate students (14 female, 10 male) who had completed relevant coursework and participated in health promotion activities. Thematic analysis revealed three key themes: gendered access and assumptions, socio-cultural and structural barriers, and institutional roles and responsibilities. Participants described how reproductive health education and services disproportionately focus on girls, with boys often excluded due to cultural norms and institutional biases. Socio-cultural taboos, shame, and fear further limited access for both genders, though in distinct ways: boys faced invisibility and judgment, while girls experienced stigma and moral scrutiny. Institutions such as schools, families, and healthcare providers were seen as both barriers and potential agents of change, often reinforcing gendered norms through selective education and biased service provision. These findings underscore the need for more inclusive and gender-equitable reproductive health education that actively engages all adolescents. Addressing these disparities requires rethinking institutional practices and cultural narratives that marginalize male adolescents while overburdening females with sole responsibility for reproductive health. By incorporating gender equity into academic and community-based health initiatives, Public Health students can be better prepared to advocate for and implement inclusive reproductive health programs.

Abstract

The Constitutional Court (MK) as the guardian of the constitution plays an important role in upholding constitutional justice in the Indonesian constitutional system. However, the independence of MK judges is still vulnerable to political intervention, both in the legislative process and in the appointment and dismissal of judges. This study uses a normative juridical method with a legislative and conceptual approach. The results of the study show that this vulnerability is influenced by the revision of the Constitutional Court Law, which is fraught with political interests, the interference of political institutions in the selection of judges, and conflicts of interest in several controversial decisions. To strengthen the independence of the Constitutional Court, regulatory reforms based on meritocracy, external supervision through the Judicial Commission, transparency and public participation in the selection process and decisions, as well as the reinforcement of judges' ethics and integrity are needed. With these steps, it is hoped that the Constitutional Court will consistently carry out its function as the guardian of the constitution, uphold the principle of the rule of law, and protect the constitutional rights of the Indonesian people.
