Abstract

Human Resources (HR) is the most important asset in a company. Employees can be a good potential if managed properly and correctly, but employees can also be a burden if the company can not manage it properly. As the increase in the industry, particularly coal mining industry in East Kalimantan is always the problem that arises is the possibility of the occurrence of occupational accidents, occupational diseases, and environmental pollution. The occurrence of occupational accidents, occupational diseases, and environmental pollution due to poor human resource management can reduce employee productivity and company. Research objectives to be achieved is describing the safety and health of employees produkitivitas particularly in the production of PT. XYZ, Loa Kulu aquatic mammal, and to know the significant influence of each variable. Survey respondents were employees in the production of  PT. XYZ, Loa Kulu aquatic mammal with a high of 165 employees. By using the Slovin formula can be determined that a sample of respondents is as many as 99 employees.Based on the description of each item answer the answer of respondents indicated that employees responded positively to the questions given. Multiple regression analysis showed that there were significant effects of occupational safety and health of employee productivity, it can be seen from the significance of each variable is significant <0.05. Significance X1 to Y by 0.000, and the significance of X2 to Y by 0.017. Can be inferred by looking at the results of studies showing that the implementation of occupational safety and health on the productivity of employees of PT. XZY  Loa Kulu Kukar, generally not very good, is expected to be further enhanced supervision.

Abstract

One of the objectives that should be developed in teaching is reading comprehension skills. In fact, many students still have a lot of problems with reading. Therefore, teachers should use specific strategies in teaching reading comprehension to resolve students’ difficulties. The purpose of the research was to find out whether or not it is significantly effective to teach reading comprehension by using the FIVES strategy for eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. This research applied the pre-experimental method with one group pre- and post-test only. The population of the study was all of the eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. Cluster random sampling was taken to take the sample class. Class XI MIA 4 was chosen as the sample class. The data was collected through a reading test consisted of 20 items of multiple-choice form. The results of this research were: 1) the average score in the pre-test was 61.81, and the post-test was 78.06, 2) the result of the Paired t-test was 10.167, which higher than t-table (1.689) at the significant level of 5% with df 35. Therefore, the alternative hypotheses (Ha) was accepted. It means that it was significantly effective to teach reading comprehension by using the FIVES strategy for eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau.

Abstract

This article was written to: (a) present the description of the manuscript about translation and change language of story about Bunga Rampai Aceh text, and (b) present change language of story about Bunga Rampai Aceh.This research is a philology research. The object of this article were translation and change language of story about Bunga Rampai Aceh text. This manuscript was collection of Aceh Museum. The method used in this article tailored to the stage of research. At the stage of data collection used method literature study and field study method. At the stage of description of the manuscript used descriptive method. At the stage of transliteration used trasliteration method. At the stage of change language used change language method.The result of this research was in the form of presentation of text that can be read and can be understood by the today’s public about translation and change language of story about Bunga Rampai Aceh text. The result of this research also present the text that has been adapted to Ejaan bahasa Indonesia (EBI). This manuscript tells about a prayer to issue a star, the language of the body, and tells about how to sakaratul maut began. In the manuscript about Bunga Rampai Aceh text there was a vocabulary that shows many variety of old Malay language in it. This is for the purity of the script language was maintained.Keywords: translation, change language, text, philology

Abstract

Persalinan adalah proses dimana bayi, plasenta, dan selaput ketuban keluar dari uterus ibu. Persalinan dianggap normal jika prosesnya terjadi pada usia cukup bulan (setelah 37 minggu) tanpa disertai penyulit. Namun pada umumnya kelainan pada ibu dan bayi dapat terjadi beberapa saat setelah persalinan. Penelitian telah menunjukan bahwa lebih dari 50% kematian bayi terjadi dalam periode noenatal yaitu dalam bulan pertama kehidupannya. Kurang baiknya penanganan bayi baru lahir sehat akan menyebabkan kelainan yang dapat mengakibatkan cacat seumur hidup bahkan kematian. Salah satu hal yang harus dilakukan dalam penangaan bayi baru lahir adalah pemberian kolostrum.Pemberian kolostrum dapat menurunkan 20% angka kematian bayi, dan menunjang keberhasilan pemberian ASI Ekslusif.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan ibu nifas tentang rawat gabung dengan motivasi ibu dalam pemberian kolostrum di RSUD DR. Slamet Garut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis kolerasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling. pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan mengumpulkan data primer. Dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 35 ibu nifas. Analisis yang digunakan univariat dan bivariat. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Agustus2022 dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan chi-square. Didapatkan 22,9% memiliki pengetahuan baik, 34,3% memiliki pengetahuan cukup dan 42,9% memiliki pengetahuan kurang. Sedangkan 17,1% memiliki motivasi yang kuat, 45,7% memiliki motivasi yang sedang dan 37,1% memiliki motivasi yang lemah. Hasil uji statistik menunjukan bahwa X 2hitung lebih besar dari X2tabel (18,487> 3,841) dengan harga ρ lebih kecil dari tingkat kesalahan α (0,001 < 0,05).Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara pengetahuan ibu hamil trimester III tentang rawat gabung dengan motivasi ibu dalam pemberian kolostrum.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the impact of the women's directory on the performance of financial companies imitating the Tobin's Q ratio. This research uses the Weighted Least Square method with the IBM SPSS application. Data collection techniques using the documentation method. The data in this study consisted of secondary data taken from the Indonesia Stock Exchange or related company websites (the number of samples in this study were 49 companies spread across Southeast Asia from 2017 - 2020). The results of this study indicate that the variables of female directors, profitability and company size have no effect on the company's financial performance, while the leverage variable has a significant positive effect on the company's financial performance.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the impact of Profitability, Company Size, Leverage and Sales Growth on Profit Management in Palm Oil Companies. The method used in this research is Weighted Least Square using IBM SPSS as the application. Data collection techniques are carried out through documentation methods. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the Indonesian Stock Exchange or related company internet sites. The research sample consists of 12 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2017 to 2021. The research results show that the variables Profitability and Leverage have a significant negative influence on Profit Management, while Company size and Sales Growth do not have a significant influence on Profit Management.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the University Students’ Needs in Learning General English Subject at PGRI Silampari University and the lecturer needs in designing RPS. The method in this research was descriptive qualitative. The population of this research was non English education study program students especially history education study program consist of 130 students. The sample of this research was sixth semester students with 28 students that was choosen by using purposive sampling. The data were collected by using questionnaire and interview. After that, the data were analyzed with description. The results showed that the purpose most of students learn English is being able to communicate with English and can speak English fluently. The students’ want from the lecturer were to help them to mastering English skills, make an enjoyable class, and give them interesting teaching method. Students’ wants of using English skills were they can being able to communicate with English, they can understand what the lecturer said in English, and can help them in applying job in the future. Furthemore, the students’ lacks were in speaking English, lack in writing, lack in listening and less of confidence with their skills. As the conclusion, the students’ needs more spesific English material that related to their major and interesting learning method from the lecturer to fulfil their needs. The lecturers’ need in designing syllabus were the lecturer should know the used of curiculum and what do the students usually learn. From those aspect the lecturer looking for the references that can be used to design materials to be given in one semester, which are on the syllabus add English components and English skills that related to their need and major. Abstract

The research aimed to describe the challenges done by English teachers in Lubuklinggau face in implementing effective vocabulary teaching. This research conducted in qualitative design with descriptive approach. Sample in this research as four English teachers at different junior high school that consist of state and Privat. In collecting the data, the researchers crated online questionnaire through google form and shared to the subject. The result showed Teaching English vocabulary to students presents challenges like lack of resources, motivation, and emotional barriers. Strategies include providing resources, motivating students, managing classroom dynamics, and using interactive exercises, multimedia resources, and differentiated approaches. To effectively teach English vocabulary, educators should utilize real-world examples, customize materials, and create a nurturing learning environment, while also ensuring efficient classroom control and time allocation.
