Abstract

Photodegradation is one method that can be used to process dye waste. This research aims to examine the effect of radiation time on the photodegradation of phenol red dye using a TiO2-Ag catalyst. This research was carried out using varying radiation times of 5, 10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 85, 90, 120, 150, and 210 minutes. The results showed that the radiation time affected the rate of photodegradation of phenol red dye. The photodegradation rate increases with increasing irradiation time. At 85 minutes of radiation time, the photodegradation rate of phenol red dye reached 82.47%. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the TiO2-Ag catalyst is effective in the photodegradation process of phenol red dye with an optimum radiation time of 85 minutes. The TiO2-Ag catalyst is an effective catalyst in the dye photodegradation process

Abstract

In connection with the efforts to improve the quality of education in the 21st century, teachers are demanded for their professionalism and are obliged to develop academic qualifications and competences in a sustainable manner in line with the development of science, technology, and arts. The use of digital information technology in the learning process first requires teachers to speak against all information technology and digital developments. This is necessary to support the education system as well as the development of digital learning resources so that students can access them using technology. Based on this, research was carried out aimed at finding out the influence of digital literacy among teachers on the implementation of online learning. This research is being carried out throughout the state high schools in Gowa Regency. The population in this study is a total of 238 civil service teachers spread across five schools. Sampling was done using the random proportional sampling technique with samples of 70 teachers based on the Slovin formula. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire that tests the validity of the contents using the gregory test model and the validation of the construction using the confirmatory factor analysis technique, and the rehabilitation test using the Cronbach alpha formula, which produces a reliability coefficient value of 0.98 for the teacher's digital literacy instrument and a reliability coefficient of 0.96 for the online learning implementation instrument. The simple linear regression technique is used to analyze the data obtained. The results of the study revealed that there is a positive and significant influence of the digital literacy of teachers on the implementation of online learning at the State High School Preventing Education in Gowa Regency, and the great contribution or impact of the digital literature of the teacher on online learning implementation is 48%. There are findings in this study that reveal that there is a positive and significant influence of digital literacy teachers on the implementation of online learning. This shows that the quality of learning online is determined by the professionalism of teachers in the aspect of the ability to use digital technology.

Abstract

Kesadaran masyarakat mengenai dampak lingkungan akibat aktivitas sehari-hari masih tergolong rendah, khususnya di daerah pedesaan. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman warga Desa Laea Kec. Poleang terhadap dampak pencemaran lingkungan dan pentingnya menjaga ekosistem sekitar. Salain itu untuk mendorong perubahan perilaku masyarakat dalam mengelola sampah dan sumber daya alam secara bijak dan melibatkan warga dalam pelestarian lingkungan. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui pendekatan partisipatif berupa sosialisasi dan diskusi kelompok. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat tentang isu-isu lingkungan, sementara partisipasi masyarakat meningkat dalam bentuk tindakan individu dan kelompok untuk melindungi dan memperbaiki lingkungan sebesar 70% setelah kegiatan edukasi masyarakat dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan yang dibuktikan dengan angket ketertarikan menjaga lingkungan. Kegiatan ini membuktikan pentingnya peran pendidikan dan keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan.

Abstract

Minyak goreng bekas yang sudah sering digunakan di rumah tangga atau yang dikenal sebagai minyak jelantah seringkali tidak dimanfaatkan dengan baik oleh masyarakat dan malah dibuang sembarangan ke tanah atau sungai, yang menyebabkan pencemaran lingkungan. Potensi limbah minyak jelantah sangat besar karena dihasilkan dari usaha seperti restoran cepat saji, jasa katering, warung makan, hotel, dan bahkan industri makanan yang besar. Salah satu cara untuk mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan adalah dengan memanfaatkan minyak jelantah menjadi lilin aromaterapi. Di SMKS Farmasi Syekh Yusuf Al-Makassari, masyarakat diberikan pelatihan mengenai cara memanfaatkan minyak jelantah sebagai bahan dasar untuk membuat lilin aromaterapi. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memperluas kreativitas siswa dan membantu mereka menciptakan usaha mandiri yang dapat meningkatkan ekonomi mereka sendiri dan masyarakat sekitar. Metode yang digunakan dalam PKM ini adalah menyampaikan materi, diskusi yang interaktif, dan melakukan praktik langsung dalam workshop. Hasil dari pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam kewirausahaan meningkat secara signifikan, yang dibuktikan melalui posttest dengan hasil mencapai 90%. Selain itu, siswa sangat antusias dan mengikuti tahapan kegiatan pelatihan secara penuh

Abstract

Glutamic acid as a reducing and capping agent was used in the synthesis of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). The effect of pH was investigated to determine the optimum conditions and formation of AuNPs. In this study, characterization was carried out using UV-Vis spectrophotomater. Based on the test results, it shows that glutamic acid can act as a reducer and a hood in the synthesis of AuNPs marked by a change in color from colorless to burgundy. The results showed that the optimum pH value in the formation of AuNPs was characterized by the highest absorbance intensity in the UV-Vis spectra. The maximal wavelength obtained was in the region of 530 nm and the highest absorbance intensity was obtained at pH 12.
