Abstract

Abstrak ─ Media pembelajaran merupakan alat atau perantara yang berguna untuk memperlancar proses belajar mengajar, serta memperlancar komunikasi antara guru dan siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran prakarya dan mengetahui tingkat kelayakan dari media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Metodologi yang dipakai dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran ini adalah MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle), pengujian media pembelajaran meliputi pengujian apla testing dan beta testing. Pengujian alpa testing dilakukan oleh satu orang ahli media dan satu orang ahli materi dan untuk pengujian beta testing dilakukan secara langsung yang meliputi siswa kelas VII SMP Advent Unklab. Hasil dari penelitian adalah telah dikembangkan media pembelajaran prakarya. Pengujian alpa testing yang melibatkan ahli media dan ahli materi, menyatakan bahwa media pembelajaran ini baik dengan rata-rata skor 3.60 dari ahli media dan ahli materi menyatakan baik dengan rata-rata skor 3.21. sedangkan untuk pengujian beta testing yang melibatkan 25 siswa sebagai responden memberi skor dengan rata – rata 3.60 dengan kategori baik’. Sehingga media pembelajaran ini layak digunakan untuk membantu guru dalam proses belajar mengajar. Kata Kunci ─ MDLC, Media Pembelajaran, Prakarya Abstract ─ Learning media is a tool or intermediary that is useful to facilitate the teaching and learning process, as well as facilitate communication between teachers and students. The purpose of this research is to develop craft learning media and determine the feasibility level of the developed learning media. The methodology used in developing this learning media is MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle), learning media testing includes app testing and beta testing. The alpha testing was carried out by one media expert and one material expert and for beta testing, it was carried out directly which included seventh grade students of Adventist Junior High School Unklab. The result of the research is that craft learning media has been developed. The negligent testing, which involved media experts and material experts, stated that this learning media was good with an average score of 3.60 from media experts and material experts said it was good with an average score of 3.21. while for beta testing, which involved 25 students as respondents, they scored an average of 3.60 in the good category. So that this learning media is suitable to be used to help teachers in the teaching and learning process. Keywords ─ MDLC, Learning Media, Craft

Abstract

School principals as leaders in a school have a role important in the development of mobile-based social studies learning media in junior high schools. Unklab Airmadidi Junior High School is one of the Educational Institutions that aim to develop a potency child nation so can compete at the world level. To fulfill these objectives educational institutions, need to develop capable learning media to awaken the interest of students. This study aims for developing android-based IPS learning media on Conditions Geographical Class VIII ASEAN Countries at UNKLAB Airmadidi Junior High School. The research method used in this research is the prototype model. The steps he did, gathering needs designing and prototype evaluation. Mobile-based social studies learning media at UNKLAB Airmadidi Junior High School. This level of feasibility and attractiveness product on good criteria, this proven by responses from students and teachers in good criteria. Based on the results data obtained then mobile-based IPS learning media at UNKLAB Airmadidi Junior High School class VIII can say worthy of implemented in schools.
