Abstract

This research investigates the application of unsupervised learning techniques for digit recognition using the MNIST dataset. Through a comparative analysis, various dimensionality reduction methods, including ISOmap, PCA, and tSNE, were evaluated for their effectiveness in visualizing and processing the MNIST data. The findings reveal that tSNE consistently outperforms ISOmap and PCA in terms of accuracy, F1- score, precision, and recall, showcasing its superior capability in preserving relevant information within the dataset. Utilizing tSNE for visualizing and clustering digits provides valuable insights into the underlying structure of the dataset, uncovering complex patterns in digit relationships. These results contribute to the advancement of digit recognition systems, offering potential improvements in classification accuracy and model reliability. The success of tSNE highlights the importance of nonlinear dimensionality reduction techniques in handling complex datasets, such as MNIST. This research underscores the significance of unsupervised learning approaches, particularly tSNE, in enhancing digit recognition systems' performance, with implications extending across various application domains. Continued research is recommended to explore further applications and potentials of unsupervised learning techniques and to deepen our understanding of the MNIST dataset's structure and complexity.

Abstract

Student Life memiliki 3 divisi yaitu Student Services, Student Stewardship, dan Spiritual Growth for Student.

Abstract

Efficient online transactions now thrive through websites (e-commerce) and mobile apps (m-commerce). With the growth of m-commerce, marketers aim to boost profits by understanding impulsive buying behavior. This study investigates factors influencing online impulse buying (OIB) in m-commerce by analyzing key variables. Data were gathered via questionnaires from 449 Indonesian consumers who had made digital payments and impulsive purchases using smartphones. The framework includes sales promotion (SP), attractive advertising (EA), and mobile digital payment systems (MDPS) as situational factors; hedonic shopping motivation (HSM) as a motivational factor; and impulsiveness (I) and smartphone addiction (SA) as personal traits. Analysis used partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), with gender, income, and smartphone usage time as control variables. Results show that EA, MDPS, HSM, I, and SA significantly influence OIB, while SP does not. For consumer segmentation, t-distributed stochastic neighbor embedding (t-SNE) outperformed ISOmap and principal component analysis (PCA), achieving a silhouette score of 0.72. A paired t-test (p<0.01) confirmed t-SNE’s superior clustering accuracy. These findings reveal that t-SNE better captures consumer segmentation patterns, helping businesses refine marketing strategies and deepen their understanding of psychological drivers behind impulsive m-commerce purchases.

Abstract

This research examines how user experience (UX) dimensions influence user satisfaction in Indonesia’s mobile e-commerce ecosystem. As mobile shopping continues to dominate digital transactions, understanding the relationship between UX and user satisfaction becomes crucial for maintaining platform competitiveness. Adopting a quantitative explanatory approach, the study gathered data from 100 active users of leading e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Tokopedia, and Lazada through an online questionnaire. The instrument was based on the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) framework, encompassing six dimensions—Attractiveness, Perspicuity, Efficiency, Dependability, Stimulation, and Novelty—with user satisfaction serving as the dependent variable measured via validated Likert-scale indicators. Analytical procedures included descriptive analysis, reliability and validity tests, and multiple linear regression using SPSS version 26. The findings reveal that five out of six UX dimensions significantly and positively affect user satisfaction (p 0.05). Among them, Perspicuity and Efficiency exert the strongest influence, underscoring the importance of intuitive interface design and smooth, error-free transaction processes. Dependability, Attractiveness, and Stimulation also play notable roles, indicating that both functional performance and emotional engagement contribute to favorable user experiences. Conversely, Novelty—though positively associated—does not reach statistical significance, implying that while users appreciate innovation, they prioritize clarity and reliability. The regression model yields an R² value of 0.742, suggesting that UX dimensions collectively account for 74.2% of the variance in user satisfaction. Overall, the study affirms that UX is a decisive factor in shaping user satisfaction and loyalty in mobile e-commerce environments. It enriches existing UX scholarship by providing empirical evidence from Indonesia’s fast-growing digital market. Practically, the results encourage developers to emphasize usability, dependability, and aesthetic design to maintain user engagement. Future studies are recommended to integrate trust, emotional attachment, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and augmented reality to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of user satisfaction in digital commerce.
