Abstract

Knowledge Management (KM) has become an integral factor for many organizations to achieve their goals. Currently, Higher Education Institutions (HEI), have also joined the practices of KM, to enhance the institution’s quality, boosting the effectiveness, developing human resource, and constructing the knowledge culture within the institution. The aim of this study is to observe the constructed Critical Success Factor (CSF) model affecting the implementation of KM. This study follows Kitchenham’s Systematic Literature Review (SLR) procedures from 15 eligible journal articles obtained through KM related literature. The results, analysis, and discussions are elaborated in the paper.

Abstract

Nowadays, technology is indispensable to solve problems. Technology can facilitate communication without thinking about distance, space, and time. Currently, the advancement of technology is useful for most people in carrying out their activities, especially in the field of education. Islamic Centre High School Tangerang is one of the schools that require information systems to manage data as it still uses the manual method. This research was specifically conducted to assist t Islamic Centre High School Tangerang in building a system for managing school data, so that it can provide recommendations to students to decide on a study program to a higher level of education, as well as to help parents monitoring their children activities. The methodology used in this study is qualitative methods, RAD methodology and the Prototyping method. Meanwhile, the method of recommending study programs for students used the Analytical Hierarchy Process method, that is by comparing the value of criteria consisting of accreditation, majors, grades, and comparison of alternative values consisting of study programs and universities. The system was tested using black box testing method. The result of this study is a web-based academic information systems with recommendation feature. The system can display a ranking of student study program recommendations based on a comparison of criteria and alternative values using the Analytical Hierarchy Process Method

Abstract

Fire is a type of disaster that can occur anytime and anywhere as a result of any accidental or intentional causes. Without exception, houses are also very vulnerable to fire. To anticipate the catastrophic effects of fire that can destroy houses, advanced technology, such as the Internet of Things (IoT) can be utilized to detect the smoke and fire. This study aims to design an early warning fire detection system for home monitoring using smoke detection sensors based on Arduino microcontroller together with NodeMCU ESP8266. This early warning fire detection system is expected to function by notifying homeowners when detecting the presence of smoke in their homes. With the aid of this detection system, the issue of potential damage, death, or material loss caused by fire can be significantly reduced. The results and testing of the designed system will be discussed in the paper.

Abstract

Pengenalan dasar algoritma pemograman akan jauh lebih baik jika dilakukan sejak dini, misalnya dimulai semenjak sekolah dasar. Namun, bagi kebanyakan orang, algoritma dan pemrograman dianggap sebagai pelajaran yang sulit dan membosankan, sehingga diperlukan suatu metode khusus yang membuat anak-anak menjadi tertarik. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan aplikasi Thunkable, di mana anak-anak dapat mempelajari dasar algoritma pemrograman secara visual, interaktif, dan kolaboratif. Meskipun pengenalan algoritma pemrograman penting dan sudah ada metode pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan menggunakan Thunkable, tidak banyak sekolah yang paham mengenai hal tersebut. artikel ini bertujuan untuk melaporkan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat terkait pengenalan dan pelatihan dasar algoritma pemrograman menggunakan Thunkable bagi siswa SD St. Theresia Jakarta. Pelatihan ini dilakukan secara daring melalui Zoom meeting. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini, para peserta diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir secara kreatif, logis, dan sistematis melalui pelatihan algoritma pemrograman

Abstract

PT Maju Bersama Persada Dayamu merupakan salah satu perusahaan pada bidang manufaktur. Proses produksi merupakan proses penting dalam bidang manufaktur. Sistem informasi persediaan bahan baku dapat membantu proses produksi berjalan dengan baik. Tujuan dari penelitian dan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah mengembangan sistem informasi persediaan bahan baku untuk membantu menyelesaikan kendala penyediaan bahan baku PT Maju Bersama Persada Dayamu saat ini yang masih bersifat manual dengan menggunakan Microsoft Excel dan kartu bahan baku. Hal ini mengakibatkan data-data tidak terintegrasi pada semua departemen, sehingga informasi ketersediaan dan pengelolaan bahan baku belum sepenuhnya akurat. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan metode prototyping, bahasa pemrograman PHP dan framework CodeIgniter. Pemodelan sistem dibuat menggunakan notasi UML. Selain mengembnagkan sistem, pengujian dan pelatihan penggunaan sistem juga dilakukan untuk memastikan sistem yang dihasilkan sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan membantu efektivitas proses persediaan barang PT Maju Bersama Persada Dayamu.

Abstract

Sistem informasi manajemen produksi dapat digunakan untuk membantu serta meningkatkan kualitas manajemen produksi pada sebuah perusahaan manufaktur agar semua proses produksi yang dilakukan dapat menjadi lebih optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian dan PkM ini yaitu mengembangkan sistem informasi manajemen produksi untuk PT. Maju Bersama Persada Dayamu (MBPD) Tangerang serta memberikan pelatihan kepada pihak PT. Maju Bersama Persada Dayamu (MBPD). Sebelumnya, manajemen produksi yang dilakukan oleh PT. MBPD masih bersifat manual, misalnya proses produksi dicatat dengan menggunakan kertas, serta tidak adanya sistem yang terintegrasi secara baik pada bagian produksi. Hal ini menyebabkan beberapa masalah, seperti ketidakakuratan pencatatan dan analisis data yang tentunya dapat mengganggu proses kelancaran kegiatan produksi perusahaan. Sistem yang diusulkan ini diharapkan dapat mendukung PT. MBPD dalam meningkatkan kualitas manajemen dan proses produksinya. Selain mengembangkan dan menyerahkan sistem usulan kepada PT. MBPD, kegiatan pelatihan kepada user terkait cara penggunaan sistem yang dibuat. Pelatihan ini ditargetkan kepada karyawan produksi, manajer produksi, maupun direktur PT. MBPD.

Abstract

Universitas Pelita Harapan adalah sebuah perguruan tinggi swasta yang berlokasi di Karawaci. Saat ini Universitas Pelita Harapan belum menerapkan sistem terintegrasi berbasis web yang berfungsi untuk mengelola informasi workshop / seminar dan proses pendaftaran peserta. Semua proses selalu dilakukan melalui postingan Instagram dan media sosial lainnya. Oleh karena itu akan dirancang sistem yang berfungsi untuk mendukung proses mulai dari entri data, perencanaan hingga pendaftaran acara. Data pendaftaran dan informasi tentang mahasiswa dan institusi akan disimpan dalam database dan diolah menjadi laporan yang dapat diakses untuk keperluan Universitas Pelita Harapan dan institusi mitra sekolah lainnya. Pengembangan aplikasi berbasis web ini dirancanga menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan menggunakan metodologi Rapid Application Development (RAD). Pemodelan yang digunakan dalam pembangunan aplikasi ini adalah UML yang terdiri dari use case diagram, relasi diagram antar tabel, activity diagram dan class diagram. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem profiling kompetensi mahasiswa untuk portofolio dan memberikan pengelolaan data berupa laporan excel untuk Universitas Pelita Harapan.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is a crucial factor for the sustainability of a company, including tech companies like Gojek. This condition exists because customer satisfaction affects the continuation of customers purchasing or reusing the company's services. Promotions or offers are commonly applied strategies by companies to enhance attractiveness among competitors and improve customer satisfaction. Therefore, this research aims to understand customer sentiments towards promotions or offers provided by the Gojek company to develop better promotional strategies by increasing customer satisfaction. The data source for this research comes from user tweets on the social media platform Twitter which has now changed to "X". The method used to determine the sentiment of this data is the support vector machine.

Abstract

Over the past few years, face recognition has been widely used to help human activities in various sectors, including the education sector. By using facial recognition, the class attendance system at universities can be significantly improved. For example, students are no longer asked to sign attendance sheets manually, but attendance can be taken, recorded, and managed automatically through an integrated class attendance management system using facial recognition. The recorded data can then be further analysed to produce useful information for instructors and administrators. In turn, this arrangement will assist them in making decisions about matters relating to student attendance. The main objective of this research is to develop an automatic class attendance management system using facial recognition. In particular, the system we propose was developed using a prototyping software development approach and was modelled using UML version 2.0. As a choice of methods and tools, we used the Viola-Jones method as a face detection algorithm, Python and PHP as programming languages, OpenCV as the computer vision library, and MySQL as the DBMS. The results obtained from a number of black box tests carried out were a fully functional automatic class attendance system prototype using facial recognition.

Abstract

The number of internets and social media users, which continues to increase at a very fast rate, has resulted in the emergence of new business opportunities in Indonesia. One of those indications is the emergence of marketplace companies in Indonesia. The presence of these online marketplaces provides people with more online marketplace choices according to their preferences. One of the factors that became the basis for this election was reading comments or reviews from consumers on the marketplace posted on social media. This research was conducted using text mining method with k-means clustering algorithm to systematically identify the sentiments and topics that are widely discussed by online marketplace consumers in Indonesia. The data was processed by the k-means algorithm in the form of comments or reviews from three online marketplaces (Tokopedia, Shopee and Bukalapak) on Twitter. The amount of data for each marketplace referred to was 1500 data tweets. The results showed that the three online marketplaces were associated to different topics, even though they are in the same industry. These differences arise due to the fact that most consumers discuss the topics of programs held by their respective online marketplaces. The main topics related to Tokopedia are “belanja” (“shopping”) and “terimakasih” (“thank you”); while for Shopee “pilih” (“choose”) and “jongho”, and for Bukalapak “pra-kerja” (“pre-employment”). In addition, the sentiment analysis carried out shows that the sentiment of the three online marketplaces is predominantly neutral.
