Abstract

Instructional materials are an essential component of the learning process. The use of instructional materials can be tailored to students; requirements and characteristics. Prospective instructors must take courses on the development of teaching materials in order to acquire the skills necessary to create instructional materials. To have the skills to develop teaching materials, other skills are needed to support this, including digital literacy and writing skills for prospective teacher students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of digital literacy and writing skills on the skills of developing teaching materials for prospective teacher students. This study uses quantitative research methods using causal associative research, namely research that seeks the influence of one variable (independent) with other variables (dependent). The population of this study were 210 students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at UNP BP 2020. The sample selection technique uses purposive sampling. The number of samples obtained were 35 students. The research instrument is in the form of teaching material products, performance tests. Assessment is carried out with the help of an assessment rubric. The data analysis method uses SPSS with the Multiple Regression analysis method. The results of the study show that digital literacy and writing skills have a significant effect on the skills of developing teaching materials for prospective teacher students both collectively and individually.

Abstract

The first aim of this research is, this research aims to explain the types of conjunctions used in descriptive texts written by students in class VII of SMP Negeri 22 Kerinci. Second, this research explains how conjunctions are used in student description texts in class VII of SMP Negeri 22 Kerinci. This research is qualitative and uses a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 22 Kerinci. The data used in this research came from text descriptions of class VII students at the school. The descriptive text used in this research is the descriptive text of class VII students at the school. Classifying, analyzing, and discussing data is used to analyze it. The results of the research show that in the descriptive text of class VII students at SMP Negeri 22 Kerinci there are three types of conjunctions: 124 coordinating conjunctions, 186 subordinating conjunctions, and 2 inter-sentential conjunctions. The second type of conjunction used in the descriptive text of class VII students at SMP Negeri 22 Kerinci is 80 correct coordinating conjunctions. There are 89 correct subordinating conjunctions and 2 inter-sentential conjunctions. There are also 44 incorrect coordinating conjunctions and 97 incorrect subordinating conjunctions.

Abstract

This study has three objectives to explain the influence of the Project Based Learning model assisted by vlog media on the news text writing skills of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Lengayang. This type of research is quantitative with a quasy experimental research design or also known as a mock research. The method used is descriptive analytical. In this study, the design or design used is One Group Pretest-posttest Designe. The population of this study is class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Lengayang which is spread from XI F1 to F8. The research sample was selected based on the purposive sampling technique. The research sample was selected based on the purposive sampling technique. The sample used was only one class, namely class XI F1. Based on the t-test, the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted at the level of trust and degree of freedom (dk) = (n-1) because of the tcal>ttable (6.92 > 1.68) thus, the learning outcomes of news text writing skills of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Lengayang using the Project Based Learning model assisted by vlog media were higher than using the conventional learning model. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Project Based Learning model assisted by vlog media has an effect on the news text writing skills of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Lengayang.

Abstract

The implementation of speaking skills teaching strategies at MTsN 1 Padang City includes seven teaching components consisting of students, teachers, objectives, materials, strategies, media, and evaluation in learning which are mutually integrated and have an influence on the process of implementing teaching strategies. (a) students in speaking learning are active, creative and critical thinking learning subjects during the implementation of speaking skills teaching strategies, (b) teachers in the Merdeka curriculum as facilitators, mentors, and learning designers, (c) the objectives of teaching speaking skills are taken from the indicators of each learning objective of the speaking and presenting elements, (d) the teaching material for speaking skills is in the form of poetry texts that are in accordance with the theme and development level of grade VIII students, (e) the teaching strategy for speaking skills used by cooperative learning teachers is in the form of group discussions and presentations using video media as direct objects of student understanding, (f) the teaching media for speaking skills is visual media in the form of poetry reading videos, LKPD, and Indonesian language LKS, (g) the evaluation of teaching speaking skills is an evaluation of student performance in assessing poetry declamation using an assessment rubric consisting of aspects of indicators related to learning outcomes (CP) of the speaking and presenting elements. The implementation of this strategy uses a cooperative learning approach that is effective in improving students' understanding of the material, especially in analyzing poetry. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the implementation of the speaking skills teaching strategy at MTsN 1 Padang City has been categorized as good. This can be seen from the seven teaching components that support its implementation. Although not all students are able to achieve good minimum completion criteria.

Abstract

Pembelajaran teks berita merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menyajikan ide dan pendapat secara terstruktur dan jelas. Dalam pembelajaran teks berita, berbasis kearifan lokal diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menyajikan ide dan pendapat secara mandiri, kreatif, dan kritis. Selain itu, e-book interaktif diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat dan motivasi siswa dalam belajar. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan e-book interaktif berbasis kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran keterampilan membaca teks berita. Penelitian ini menggunakan adalah metode kualitatif penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) . Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Gunung Talang 2024/2025 sebanyak 135 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 35 siswa yang diambil 7 siswa dari masing-masing kelas dengan menggunakan teknik Rendom Sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah skor hasil wawancara bersama guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indoneisa dan hasil angket keterampilan membaca teks berita siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Gunung Talang.. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan tes angket. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahan ajar E-book interaktif berbasis kearifan lokal merupakan bahan ajar yang valid dan dapat digunakan oleh guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dalam proses pembelejaran keterampilan membaca teks berita pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Gunung Talang. Pada pembelajaran siswa cukup fokus dalam mengamati bahan ajar e-book, sehingga saat dilakukan tes, siswa dapat menjawab pernyataan dengan baik. Peneliti dapat mengkondusifkan suasana kelas sehingga siswa dapat menarik fokus belajar siswa, dan guru dapat memotivasi siswa agar siswa dapat mengerjakan soal-soal dengan baik dan bekerja secara mandiri. Oleh karena itu, penerapan e-book interaktif berbasis kearifan lokal terhadap keterampilan membaca teks berita siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Gunung Talang memperoleh hasil yang baik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa kelas VIII MTsN 3 Kota Padang sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning dan menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa kelas VIII MTsN 3 Kota Padang. Teori yang digunakan adalah keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi, model project based learning dalam pembelajaran menulis teks laporan hasil observasi, dan pengaruh model project based learning terhadap keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eskperimen. Desain penelitian dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi yang digunakan adalah kelas siswa kelas VIII MTsN 3 Kota Padang. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa skor hasil tes keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan tiga hal. Pertama, keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa kelas VIII MTsN 3 Kota Padang sebelum menggunakan model project based learning berada pada kualifikasi Baik (B) dengan nilai rata rata 78,33. Kedua, keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa kelas kelas VIII MTsN 3 Kota Padang sesudah menggunakan model project based learning berada pada kualifikasi Baik (B) dengan rata-rata 85,77. Ketiga, berdasarkan hasil uji-t hasil diperoleh thitung dibandingkan dengan ttabel pada derajat kebebasan dk = n-1 pada taraf signifikan 95% Thitung>Ttabel (1,91>1,71) dengan demikian, hipotesis berbunyi terdapatnya pengaruh signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning terhadap keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa kelas VIII MTsN 3 Kota Padang.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of diction in news texts written by class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Tarab. Diction is an important aspect in news texts because it determines the clarity, accuracy and effectiveness of the information conveyed. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was obtained from 22 news texts consisting of 63 paragraphs and 2,196 words. The research results show that in general students have been able to choose the right diction in writing news texts, with 1,821 words categorized as appropriate, 1,738 words accurate, and 1,380 words appropriate to the context of their use. However, errors were still found in word selection, where there were 375 inappropriate words, 458 inaccurate words, and 816 inappropriate words in the text analyzed.

Abstract

Tuturan menjadi hal yang sangat dibutuhkan dalam menyampaikan sesuatu yang ingin dikatakan. Sehingga dapat memahami maksud yang diinginkan oleh penutur.  Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi untuk bisa menganalisis penokohan yang ada pada sebuah karya sastra melalui tindak tutur yang digunakan. Maka, penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui tuturan direktif yang digunakan tokoh utama pada novel Hilda karya Muyassarotul Hafidzoh. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan cara membaca novel Hilda karya Muyassarotul Hafidzoh, serta teknik mencatat digunakan untuk merekam data yang telah dianalisis. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu berupa tindak tutur direktif yang digunakan oleh tokoh utama pada novel Hilda karya Muyassarotul Hafidzoh, yang dapat dijadikan acuan dalam menentukan bentuk penokohan yang terdapat pada tokoh utama.Â
