Abstract

Komunikasi yang Dimediasi Komputer (CMC) mengacu pada pertukaran informasi dan interaksi antara individu atau kelompok melalui perangkat digital. WhatsApp merupakan aplikasi pesan instan, di mana penggunanya dapat saling berkomunikasi, secara individu maupun kelompok atau grup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap keunggulan WhatsApp dalam meningkatkan kualitas produksi konten video warga. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Penggunaan WhatsApp dalam pendampingan produksi konten video warga di Kecamatan Jatigede memberikan banyak manfaat, pertama, dengan menggunakan WhatsApp, komunikasi antara Tim PKM dengan masyarakat tidak dibatasi jarak dan waktu. Kedua, WhatsApp dinilai sebagai media efektif dalam berbagi informasi, karena informasi dapat berupa teks, gambar, video, dan audio. Dan ketiga, dengan menggunakan WhatsApp, Tim PKM dapat segera mengevaluasi hasil karya berbentuk konten video. Oleh karena itu, hasil produksi konten video yang dibuat oleh masyarakat di Kecamatan Jatigede mendapatkan nilai yang baik dan dapat diterima oleh masyarakat luas.

Abstract

Pangandaran West Beach is a popular destination visited by many tourists, both local and international. This study aims to analyze the tourism suitability index and carrying capacity of the West Coast of Pangandaran, West Java, as a beach recreation-based tourist destination. This research was conducted in April 2025. The method used was direct observation to collect primary data on environmental parameters, with 5 stations spaced 636 m apart. Data analysis was conducted using the tourism suitability index and the area's carrying capacity, categorized into three main types: beach recreation, camping, and swimming. The results showed that the tourism suitability index for Pangandaran West Beach in the categories of beach recreation, camping, and swimming tourism was 97.3%, 91.7%, and 85.9%, respectively, and is classified as "very suitable." Meanwhile, the carrying capacity of the area for beach recreation activities is 340 people per day, for swimming activities is 255 people per day, and for camping activities is 1,592 people per day. This value represents the hypothetical maximum capacity of visitors that can be accommodated without harming the beach ecosystem or compromising the quality of the tourist experience.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the implementation of the three-act structure in scriptwriting for the feature video entitled “Jejak Rasa: Akar dari Tanah Priangan.” The background of this research is based on the tendency of audiovisual representations of cassava that remain partial, focusing only on either traditional or modern aspects without integrating both into a cohesive narrative. This study employs a qualitative approach based on creative practice, where the author acts as a scriptwriter responsible for designing the narrative flow using the three-act structure: set up, confrontation, and resolution. The production process consists of three stages: pre-production, production, and post-production, involving literature research, field observation, interviews with key informants, and the development of visual and audio narratives. The findings indicate that the implementation of the three-act structure successfully creates a systematic narrative that integrates historical, cultural, and modern dimensions of cassava transformation. This structure also effectively builds a coherent dramatic flow and enhances audience emotional engagement. The implications of this study are expected to provide references for academics and practitioners in developing research-based audiovisual scriptwriting, particularly in the context of local culture and gastronomy.

Abstract

IIn the process of creating the feature video "Jejak Rasa: Akar dari Tanah Priangan," the author serves as the Director of Photography, responsible for managing the visual aspects to effectively and comprehensively convey the message. This is achieved through the application of various cinematographic techniques, such as careful selection of camera angles, types of shots, camera movements, and in-depth composition. The main goal of this feature video production is to showcase the cultural value of cassava as an essential part of the culinary identity of Tanah Priangan, while also highlighting its transformation from traditional food to modern culinary innovation with contemporary relevance and appeal. This work is expected to provide a more comprehensive visual representation of local food culture and raise public awareness about the importance of preserving culinary heritage as part of the nation's cultural wealth. The application of cinematographic techniques used not only strengthens the delivery of information but also effectively enhances the aesthetic quality of the work as a visual communication medium that can impact the audience emotionally and intellectually.
