Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model Problem Based Learning berpendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching, khususnya pada materi sistem Limit Fungsi Aljabar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas XI Ilmu Sosial SMA Muhammadiyah Mlati tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 30. Berdasarkan wawancara dan observasi di, ditemukan bahwa siswa kelas XI Ilmu Sosial kurang aktif dalam mengikuti pelajaran matematika serta rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa terkhusus materi limit fungsi aljabar. Metode Penelitian menggunakan penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dijalankan dalam tiga siklus di mana tiap siklusnya meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sejalan dengan peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa yang dilihat dari hasil N-gain. Hasil observasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas belajar dengan skor 56,25 pada siklus I, 72,13% pada siklus II, dan 91,38% pada siklus III. Hasil perhitungan N-gain pada siklus I sebesar 0,48 berkategori sedang, siklus II sebesar 0,51 berkategori sedang, dan siklus III sebesar 0,56 berkategori sedang. Hasil N-gain pada ketiga siklus tersebut menunjukkan bahwa telah tercapainya indikator keberhasilan (≥75,00). Sehingga dapat dikatakan penelitian ini berhasil serta berhenti pada siklus III.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pendidikan karakter menjadi isu yang semakin penting di era modern ini, di mana perubahan sosial dan teknologi berlangsung dengan cepat. Karakter yang baik merupakan landasan utama bagi peserta didik untuk dapat menghadapi tantangan dan peluang dalam kehidupan mereka. Dalam hal ini, budaya memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk nilai-nilai, norma, dan sikap yang membentuk karakter seseorang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh budaya dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik melalui pendidikan karakter. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data dari berbagai sumber pustaka yang relevan. Kata kunci yang digunakan dalam mencari sumer penelitian adalah Pendidikan karakter dan Budaya. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana budaya berkontribusi dalam membentuk dan mempengaruhi pembentukan karakter individu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa setiap kebudayaan yang ada pada setiap daerah mempunyai pengaruh dalam membentuk karakter atau kepribadian seseorang.Abstract: Character education is an increasingly important issue in this modern era, where rapid social and technological changes occur. Good character is the main foundation for students to face challenges and opportunities. In this case, culture is vital in forming the values, norms, and attitudes that shape a person's character. This research aims to explore the influence of culture in shaping students' character through character education. The method used in this research is a literature study method by collecting and analyzing data from various relevant library sources. The keywords used in searching for research sources are character education and culture. This research focuses on understanding how culture contributes to shaping and influencing the formation of individual character. Based on the research results, every culture in every region shapes a person's character or personality.

Abstract

The use of technology in education has a crucial role and is very much in line with the progress of the times. Technology offers various information needed in the learning process. One approach that optimally utilizes technology in learning is TPACK. The objectives of this study are to (1) Describe the learning process that integrates TPACK; (2) Identify the challenges and steps taken in implementing TPACK-based learning; (3) Present the results of TPACK learning at Perumnas 3 State Elementary School. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, collecting data through observation documentation and interviews in the form of sentences. The results of this study are: (1) TPACK can be a technology-based learning approach that can adapt to the development of the times (2) The implementation of TPACK requires the support of learning facilities such as laptops, cellphones, projectors, learning videos, and internet connections; (3) TPACK-based learning has a positive impact on improving students' skills in understanding material and using technology

Abstract

This study aims to enhance students' engagement and mathematics achievement through the implementation of differentiated learning. The method employed is classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action implementation, observation, evaluation, and reflection stages. The research was carried out during the odd semester at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sleman with the participation of 28 students from the XI Automotive class. The findings reveal a significant improvement in students' engagement and learning outcomes. In the first cycle, the average engagement score was 9.51, which increased to 17.12 in the second cycle. Regarding learning outcomes, in the first cycle, only 10 students (35,71%) achieved the passing grade, while 18 students (64.29%) did not, with an average score of 64.75. In the second cycle, the number of students achieving the passing grade sharply increased to 28 students (100%) with an average score of 84.92. These results demonstrate that differentiated learning effectively enhances student engagement and mathematics achievement in the XI Automotive class at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sleman during the 2024/2025 academic year
