Abstract

Stunting is defined as a condition in which a child's height or length is below the standard height for their age. It is a chronic malnutrition problem caused by insufficient nutritional intake over an extended period of time. Stunting can result in disrupted productivity in adulthood and hinder a child's physical growth and cognitive development. In addition to nutritional factors, stunting is caused by socioeconomic, knowledge, and infectious disease factors. The objective of this activity is to provide counseling and dissemination about stunting, nutritional needs, and the preparation of unique and healthy food variations

Abstract

The nutritional status of children under the age of five is an important indicator of health, as young children are a vulnerable group to nutritional health. The growth process is very rapid, namely physical growth and psychomotor, mental and social development, so it is necessary to obtain nutrition from daily food in proper quantities and good quality. The village of Tanjung Kamuning is one of the villages that are in Tarogong Community Health Center work area in Garut district. The unrecorded problems in the village are the results of a structured weighing of the newspapers carried out by the posyandu (integrated service post) cadres that were used as reporting material for the puskesmas. Innovation tool that serves as a monitoring media and a system that acts as a container for storing and managing news data connected to the Internet for ease of access is the application "Saga Sehat." The purpose of public dedication is to improve the knowledge of caders related to the use of the application “Saga Sehat” related to growth monitoring efforts in news. Implementation methods are designation and practice of use of application “Saga Sehat.”. Activities are carried out on caders. Caders played a very active role in this activity

Abstract

One of the causes of stunting and wasting problems in toddlers is a lack of nutritional intake over a long period of time. Stunting is caused by malnutrition in the womb and usually begins to appear when the child is two years old. One effort that can be made is to increase knowledge about nutrition and good eating patterns. Adequate nutritional intake does not have to be expensive, and fulfilling adequate food intake is very important for women before marriage. This is because women will be mothers who educate and raise children. Mothers have an important role in choosing food for the family, so knowledge about nutrition is very important. The aim is for the community or target partners to know in advance about the problems that exist in the target location and to introduce solutions to the partner's problems. In this activity, there is education or counseling for mothers of toddlers and cadres about stunting and how to control it. The method used is a demonstration of making local food products as an alternative snack for toddlers. The activity was attended by 34 mothers of toddlers in the Wanaraja Community Health Center area. The stages carried out from start to finish are an assessment of the local food potential of the local area, a cooking demonstration for making PMT and an evaluation of implementation. The results of the activity showed that 34 mothers of toddlers who took part in the training implemented the creation of local food PMT menus in their respective places. Community health centers need to create a continuous training schedule so that cadre mothers are more motivated to make PMT menus from local food.

Abstract

Antenatal Care (ANC) visits are essential for monitoring maternal and fetal health and detecting pregnancy complications early. However, ANC completion rates are influenced by various factors. This study examines the associations between maternal knowledge, husband's support, and healthcare worker roles with ANC visit completion at Kayu Laut Community Health Center, Mandailing Natal Regency. Using a cross-sectional descriptive correlational design, 67 pregnant women were recruited through accidental sampling. Data were collected via validated questionnaires and analyzed using Chi-square tests.  Results showed significant associations between ANC completion and maternal knowledge, husband's support, and healthcare worker roles. Women with adequate knowledge, strong spousal support, and positive perceptions of healthcare workers demonstrated higher ANC completion rates. The findings emphasize the importance of educational interventions, family involvement, and improved healthcare service quality to enhance ANC adherence. Collaborative efforts among healthcare workers, husbands, and pregnant women are critical for optimizing maternal and neonatal health outcomes.
