The relationship between entrepreneurial behaviour, community interaction, technology adoption, and business competitiveness was investigated through quantitative analysis using a sample of 276 firms with random sampling technique and indicator comparison in SEM-PLS. Findings indicate a strong positive correlation between competitiveness, social capital, technological innovation, and entrepreneurial behaviour. In addition, this study reveals how social capital serves as a moderator to strengthen the beneficial effects of entrepreneurial mindset on competitiveness. The model shows a good fit, highlighting how well it captures the complex dynamics within Kintamani's distinct cultural and geographical environment. Abstract

Globalization brings significant changes to local cultural identities through the influence of media, technology, and migration. Global cultures often dominate local cultures, creating challenges for societies that previously had stable cultural identities. This transformation has an impact on the way people interpret their collective identity. Although many studies have addressed the impact of globalization on cultural identity, an in-depth understanding of this transformation process is still limited. This research aims to fill this gap by examining the interaction between global and local cultures and how they form new, more complex identities. Using a qualitative approach with case study methods in Yogyakarta, Bali, and Bandung, this study collects data through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The results show that the transformation of cultural identity is different in each region. In Yogyakarta, local culture remains dominant despite the influence of modern art; in Bali, globalization is seen in tourism that combines local and global cultures; while in Bandung, global pop culture is accepted by the millennial generation without leaving local identity. This research reveals that cultural adaptation creates a dynamic identity, where people choose relevant global elements, enriching cultural expression without losing local values

Abstract

This study explores the role of community participation in local budget making, aiming to develop a model for participatory budgeting that enhances transparency, accountability, and public engagement in fiscal decision-making. Through a mixed-methods approach, the research analyzes the extent and impact of community involvement in local budget processes across various municipalities. The study draws on quantitative data from budgetary records and qualitative insights from interviews with local officials and community members. Findings indicate that increased community participation leads to more equitable and effective budget allocations, aligning public spending with community needs and priorities. The study also identifies barriers to participation, including limited public awareness and institutional resistance. Based on these findings, the study proposes a participatory budgeting model that incorporates structured community input mechanisms, capacity-building initiatives, and policy recommendations to foster greater civic engagement in local budgeting. This model aims to bridge the gap between local governments and their constituents, promoting a more democratic and responsive budgeting process.
