Abstract

The science literacy skills of students in Indonesia are very concerning, the cause is that students are not accustomed to working on questions based on science literacy, so it is necessary to have a standardized assessment instrument based on chemical literacy that can measure the level of achievement of scientific identification and interpret science/chemistry learning. This study aimed to describe the characteristics of chemical literacy-based assessment instrument items of reaction rate material with a classical test theory approach. The type of research is descriptive quantitative. The research subjects were 80 class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 4 Takalar students. Data were analyzed using the ITEMAN 4.3 program. Based on the results of the analysis, a reliability coefficient of 0.834 was obtained, the level of favorability of 87% of the items was in the moderate category, and 13% was in the difficult category. In the difference test, as many as 73% of the items are in the very good category, and for the distractor test, 93% of all items have shown distractors that function properly, so it can be concluded that overall the items have high reliability and good item characteristics.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This is a quasi experiment research that aimed to know effect of the Flipped Classroom approach of online guided inquiry learning model on learning outcomes of student in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 4 Takalar on colloid subject matter. The research design was posttest only control group design. The population of this research was student in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 4 Takalar that consist of six classes. Sampling technique was conducted by random sampling that the class XI MIPA 6 as an experimental group and class XI MIPA 1 as a control group consisting of 36 student respectively. The Data collection was carried out by giving a final test of learning outcomes in the experimental group and control group. This research analyzed descriptive and inferential statictical. The results of descriptive analysis showed that, the average of the learning outcomes of the experimental group was 81,75 with standard deviation 11,35 and the average of control group was 77,28 with standard deviation 13,33. The results of the inferential statictical analysis of the students learning outcomes showed that data on the experimental and the control group were homogeneous but not normally distributed so hypotesis testing using non-parametric test by Mann-Whitney with α = 0,05. The result of this lest is obtained Zcount > Ztable (2,00 > 1,65). Therefore, it can be concluded that the flipped classroom approach of online guided inquiry learning model has a effect on the learning outcomes of student in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 4 Takalar on colloid as a subject matter

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 has significantly encouraged the widespread adoption of technology-based learning. Digital learning media have become a crucial element in education; however, their utilization remains suboptimal due to teachers' limited understanding and skills in using these technologies. Thus, a comprehensive study is needed to analyze the effectiveness of digital media in learning processes. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of various types of digital learning media in primary education. The research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, reviewing 34 journals published between 2020 and 2023. Articles were identified using databases with the help of the Publish or Perish software and PRISMA methodology. The findings reveal that the most commonly used digital media are videos, Android-based applications, and interactive multimedia. These media are predominantly applied in science, mathematics, and social studies subjects and are more frequently utilized in upper-grade classrooms. Furthermore, the results indicate that the application of digital media in learning has proven effective in enhancing students' academic performance, affective domains, language skills, critical thinking skills, and knowledge. This study provides valuable insights for maximizing the potential of digital media to support learning at the primary education level.
