Abstract

This article is prepared to elaborate on the foundations of developing the Islamic Education curriculum. The research method employed in this study is the method of library research. Library research involves gathering data or materials originating from libraries, such as books, dictionaries, journals, encyclopedias, documents, magazines, and similar sources. Consequently, the data obtained from the literature review is described as it is.The article discusses that a curriculum, in general, constitutes a plan or arrangement concerning the subject matter and serves as a guide for conducting learning activities. In the realm of Islamic Education curriculum, it is a learning design comprising a learning planning program, a learning program, and Islamic educational learning experiences for students to grow into individuals who have faith and piety towards Allah SWT and possess life skills based on Islamic teachings.Several foundations for developing the Islamic Education curriculum include theological, philosophical, psychological, sociological, scientific, and technological bases. These curriculum development foundations should generally serve as the basis, ideas, or principles in conducting learning to achieve the intended learning goals. Specifically, the curriculum development foundations also act as principles in developing, reconstructing, and actualizing the Islamic Education curriculum directed towards contextualizing the students' academic development.

Abstract

The tradition of the slametan megengan show by the Islamic Javanese people has undergone innovation and modification. The megengan transformation carried out in Jajar Village, Gandusari District, Trenggalek Regency has combined old ritual processions with modern local art typical of the Jajar Village community. Megengan show is rich in important values ​​including its relation to the values ​​of Islamic education. The transformation phenomenon of the megengan show tradition lies in its form and implementation in order to dissect existing noble values ​​so that it becomes good teaching in the community as well as an effort to preserve local traditions and culture. The aim of this research is to discover and describe the values ​​of Islamic education in the megengan show tradition. This research uses a phenomenological approach to a case study type of research. The data source for this research uses primary data obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of research regarding the values ​​of Islamic education in the transformation of the megengan show include the value of worship, the value of charity (ihsan), the value of trust, the value of the future, and the value of da'wah.

Abstract

This article aims to analyse the study of religious tolerance presented on Habib Husein Ja’far al-Hadar’s podcast channel. In the digital era, preachers are challenged to package the content they deliver in engaging ways while addressing various circulating issues. The podcast hosted by Habib Husein Ja’far al-Hadar discusses light yet substantive explanations regarding the religious practices of Indonesian society. Religion and indigenous beliefs in Indonesia are explored through conversational, dialogic, and humorous discussions between two speakers. This study uses a qualitative research method with content analysis as its primary analytical approach. To strengthen the research, the author also employs library research by reviewing various relevant literature. The primary data source of this research is Habib Ja’far al-Hadar’s podcast channel, supported by books and scholarly articles related to the theme of religious tolerance. The findings indicate that several episodes of the Noice podcast “Berbeda Tapi Bersama” reveal crucial points for the future of tolerance in Indonesia. The author identifies several indications, including that each religion offers exemplary teachings and encourages respect for the principles and rules of other religions. Each religion has points of convergence and similarities, even if its intentions and values differ. These elements demonstrate strong respect and tolerance, with dialogue serving as a key foundation for sustaining diversity.
