Abstract

Natural problems are often ignored by humans, because nature is considered to have no influence on what humans could have done. However, when a natural disaster occurs, not many realize that it is a consequence of what humans have done. Let say, the environmental problems that occur in Indonesia regarding deforestation, massive exploitation under the pretext of development. Nature are considered to be an inanimate object that is could be treated inhumanely. In fact, nature provides a lot of life, protection, even thank to nature, human life is maintained. This article is a qualitative research, with a literature study approach. The data comes from several journals and books as well as previous research related to the concept of Tri Hita Karana. The results of the study show that the concept of Tri Hita Karana offers a guide for humans in humanizing nature by balancing the concepts of Prajapati (God), Praja (humans), and Kamadhuk (nature). By understanding and applying the concept of Tri Hita Karana, it will build awareness to protect nature, because nature is part of human beings. [Persoalan alam sering kali diabaikan oleh manusia, karena alam dianggap tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap apa yang dilakukan oleh manusia. Namun, saat terjadi bencana alam, tidak banyak yang menyadari bahwa hal tersebut adalah konsekuensi dari apa yang diperbuat oleh manusia. Sebut saja persoalan lingkungan yang terjadi di Indonesia mengenai penebangan hutan, eksploitasi besar-besaran dengan dalih pengembangan. Alam seakan-akan menjadi objek mati yang diperlakukan tidak manusiawi. Padahal, alam memberi banyak kehidupan, perlindungan, bahkan dengan alam kehidupan manusia tetap terjaga. Artikel ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Data berasal dari beberapa jurnal dan buku serta penelitian terdahulu yang berhubungan dengan konsep Tri Hita Karana. Hasil telaah menunjukan bahwa konsep Tri Hita Karana menawarkan satu panduan bagi manusia dalam memanusiakan alam dengan menyeimbangkan konsep Prajapati (Tuhan), Praja (manusia), dan Kamadhuk (alam). Dengan memahami dan menerapkan konsep Tri Hita Karana, maka akan terciptalah kesadaran untuk menjaga alam, karena alam adalah bagian dari diri manusia.]

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the implementation of the paternalistic religio leadership style contained in Muhammad Nur Salim Asy'ari's book entitled "Students' Perceptions of Kiai Leadership Behavior in Islamic Boarding Schools." Leadership style is the way a leader carries out his leadership function. The connotation of kiai leadership in pesantren is often branded as authoritarian and arbitrary. Even though the leadership of the kiai in pesantren is very closely related to religious values. Apart from that, pesantren life has its own cultural pattern, which eventually forms a kiai's leadership style. This study used library research methods with content analysis. Then check the validity of the data using source triangulation. Based on the BS Cheng theory, there are three indicators of paternalistic leadership: autocracy, benevolence, and morals. If an analysis is carried out on the book "Santri's Perceptions of Kiai Leadership Behavior in Islamic Boarding Schools," it is shown that; the autocratic aspect is shown by the kiai providing direction and guidance to the management; the aspect of virtue is shown by the attitude of syafaqah/affection; and the moral aspect is shown by the kiai always providing role models for santri, both in the form of aqwal and ahwal.

Abstract

The discovery of manuscripts preserved by the community on the slopes of Mount Kawi, specifically in the village of Sumberdem, Wonosari, Malang, is significant and merits further exploration through content analysis. In addition to serving as evidence of the village’s identity as an Islamic proselytizing center, these manuscripts deserve to be studied and their contents revealed. One particularly noteworthy manuscript is Layang Fasholatan, which outlines concise guidelines on fiqh, akidah, and morals/tasawwuf that remain relevant in the present context. Its content can also be contextualized with the responsibilities of a village imam/modin, whose role includes leading religious rites such as weddings and funeral processions. Despite the breadth of prior research, few studies have specifically examined the practical relevance of manuscript content to the contemporary roles of village religious leaders such as the modin. This study offers a novel contribution by contextualizing the worship-related teachings in Layang Fasholatan within the lived religious duties of a modin in modern rural Java. Using a philological approach, content analysis, and in-depth interviews, this study presents a focused analysis of the manuscript, specifically within the scope of amaliyah/fiqh and worship. The manuscript provides a concise guide to funeral practices, prayer procedures, devotional supplications (wirid), and marriage contract guidelines. This study affirms that Layang Fasholatan, with its emphasis on worship practices, aligns closely with the religious functions and practical needs of a modin, making it both a historically and contemporarily valuable resource. While the research effectively utilizes philological and content analysis methods, it remains a preliminary exploration focused solely on the amaliyah aspect, leaving ample opportunity for future studies to examine its other dimensions and broader applications. Penemuan manuskrip-manuskrip yang dilestarikan oleh masyarakat di lereng Gunung Kawi, tepatnya di Desa Sumberdem, Kecamatan Wonosari, Kabupaten Malang, merupakan temuan yang signifikan dan layak untuk diteliti lebih lanjut melalui kajian isi. Selain menjadi bukti identitas desa sebagai kawasan dakwah Islam, manuskrip-manuskrip ini perlu dikenali dan diungkapkan isinya. Salah satu manuskrip yang menarik untuk dikaji adalah Layang Fasholatan, yang memuat panduan singkat mengenai fikih, akidah, dan akhlak/tasawuf yang masih relevan dalam konteks kekinian. Isi manuskrip ini juga dapat dikontekstualisasikan dengan tugas seorang imam atau modin desa, yang berperan memimpin pelaksanaan ibadah masyarakat, khususnya dalam prosesi pernikahan dan kematian. Meskipun telah banyak penelitian sebelumnya, sedikit yang secara khusus menelaah relevansi praktis isi manuskrip terhadap peran kontemporer tokoh agama desa seperti modin. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi baru dengan mengontekstualisasikan ajaran-ajaran ibadah dalam Layang Fasholatan ke dalam praktik keagamaan sehari-hari seorang modin di pedesaan Jawa modern. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan filologis, analisis isi, dan wawancara mendalam, studi ini menyajikan analisis terbatas terhadap isi manuskrip dalam lingkup amaliyah/fikih dan ibadah. Manuskrip ini memberikan panduan ringkas mengenai tata cara pemulasaraan jenazah, tata cara salat, wirid dan doa, serta panduan akad nikah. Studi ini menegaskan bahwa Layang Fasholatan, dengan penekanan pada praktik ibadah, sangat selaras dengan kebutuhan religius dan fungsi seorang modin, menjadikannya sumber yang berharga dan praktis baik dalam konteks historis maupun kekinian. Meskipun penelitian ini telah berhasil menerapkan metode filologis dan analisis isi secara efektif, studi ini masih merupakan eksplorasi awal yang hanya berfokus pada aspek amaliyah, sehingga masih terbuka peluang besar bagi penelitian lanjutan untuk mengkaji dimensi lainnya dan penerapan yang lebih luas.

Abstract

The diversity that exists in Indonesia creates harmony but also creates conflict. In resolving a conflict, discussions must be held in order to create peace. Peace in resolving a conflict is not only carried out by men but women also have a very large role in voicing peace. With the development of technology and information media, peace campaigns can be carried out using social media but must be carried out by institutions that have been systematically organized so that peace goals can be achieved. The purpose of this study is to see the contribution of AMAN Indonesia as Indonesia's largest women's institution in voicing the peace of Muslim women in Indonesia using social media. The research method in this study uses descriptive qualitative using literature studies. The results of this study show that an institutional contribution to voicing women can be done with organized and transformed social movements using new technologies such as social media. AMAN Indonesia as a well-organized organization uses social media as a tool in voicing the peace of Muslim women in Indonesia. The activities carried out by AMAN Indonesia in voicing the peace of Muslim women in Indonesia are conducting open dialogues, group discussions, watching peaceful films, and education on social media.   Keywords: Muslim Women, Peace, Social Media, AMAN Indonesia

Abstract

Abstract. There is a social and cultural construct in society that put a mother as the most responsible person for childcare. In fact, childcare is basically a shared responsibility between husband and wife.  Although mothers are the first school for their children, fathers also have a great responsibility in childcare.  Not only given great responsibility in childcare, social and cultural constructions in Indonesia form that a wife or mother must be able to do housework and the husband is responsible for providing a living. The purpose of this study, researchers want to see how a mother eliminates the constructions that develop in society in realizing gender justice and equality in the household. The research method in this study is a descriptive qualitative method because it is to discuss the research results comprehensively. Data collection in this study used interviews with two young mothers.  The results in this study show that in realizing gender justice in the household, each couple must prepare for marriage in terms of science and mentality so that each other understands each other regarding their respective roles and responsibilities. responsible for childcare and domestic work. And the establishment of a culture of communication in carrying out the division of roles in order to the emergence of justice in the household. Keywords: Construction, Women, Gender Justice. Abstrak. Ada konstruksi sosial dan budaya di masyarakat yang beranggapan seorang ibu adalah orang paling bertanggung jawab dalam pengasuhan anak. Padahal, pada dasarnya pengasuhan anak adalah tanggung jawab bersama antara suami dan istri.  Meskipun ibu adalah sekolah pertama bagi anak-anaknya, ayah juga memiliki tanggung jawab besar dalam pengasuhan anak.  Kemudian, ibu tidak hanya diberikan tanggung jawab besar dalam pengasuhan anak, konstruksi sosial dan budaya di Indonesia juga meletakkan seorang istri atau ibu dalam pekerjaan rumah tangga dan suami bertanggung jawab untuk mencari nafkah. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat bagaimana seorang ibu menghilangkan konstruksi yang berkembang di masyarakat dalam mewujudkan keadilan gender dan kesetaraan dalam rumah tangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif karena membahas hasil penelitian secara komprehensif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dengan dua ibu muda. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa dalam mewujudkan keadilan gender dalam rumah tangga, setiap pasangan harus mempersiapkan pernikahan dari segi ilmu pengetahuan dan mental agar saling memahami peran dan tanggung jawabnya masing-masing. Bertanggung jawab atas pengasuhan anak dan pekerjaan rumah tangga. Dan terbentuknya budaya komunikasi dalam melaksanakan pembagian peran demi munculnya keadilan dalam rumah tangga. Kata Kunci: Konstruksi, Perempuan, Keadilan Gender.

Abstract

Multiculturalism emerges as a force promoting diversity within the global system, driving the creation of true social justice. However, this concept is not universally accepted; some people reject it, viewing it as obscuring the essence of religion. This research aims to describe the values of multicultural education embedded in the Clean Village tradition in Sumberdem Village, examining them from the perspective of Islamic teachings. The research employs a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection involved in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, followed by interpretive phenomenological analysis. The findings reveal that the multicultural values expressed in the Clean Village tradition include social care, consensus, mutual cooperation, respect for diversity, and fairness. These values align harmoniously with Islamic teachings, offering solutions to humanitarian challenges by weaving diversity into a cohesive social fabric. This process shapes a well-rounded individual who balances their roles as abdullah (God’s servant) and khalifatullah (God’s steward). This tradition can serve as a model for integrating multicultural values into community practices, especially in diverse cultural and religious settings, fostering inclusive environments that promote mutual respect and collective well-being, in alignment with both secular and religious frameworks for social harmony. Multikulturalisme muncul sebagai kekuatan yang mendorong keragaman dalam sistem global, yang menggerakkan terciptanya keadilan sosial sejati. Namun, konsep ini tidak sepenuhnya diterima secara universal; beberapa orang menolaknya karena dianggap mengaburkan esensi agama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural yang terkandung dalam tradisi Bersih Desa di desa Sumberdem, kemudian mengkajinya dari perspektif ajaran Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Pengumpulan data melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan teknik dokumentasi, yang diikuti dengan analisis fenomenologis interpretatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai multikultural dalam tradisi Bersih Desa meliputi kepedulian sosial, musyawarah, gotong royong, penghormatan terhadap keragaman, dan keadilan. Nilai-nilai ini selaras dan harmonis dengan ajaran Islam, yang menawarkan solusi atas tantangan kemanusiaan dengan merajut keragaman menjadi ikatan sosial yang utuh. Proses ini membentuk manusia yang seimbang dalam peran sebagai abdullah (hamba Allah) dan khalifatullah (wakil Allah). Tradisi ini dapat menjadi model untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai multikultural dalam praktik komunitas, terutama di lingkungan dengan latar belakang budaya dan agama yang beragam, serta memupuk lingkungan inklusif yang mendukung saling menghormati dan kesejahteraan bersama, selaras dengan kerangka sekuler dan religius untuk harmoni sosial.

Abstract

This article aims to analyse the study of religious tolerance presented on Habib Husein Ja’far al-Hadar’s podcast channel. In the digital era, preachers are challenged to package the content they deliver in engaging ways while addressing various circulating issues. The podcast hosted by Habib Husein Ja’far al-Hadar discusses light yet substantive explanations regarding the religious practices of Indonesian society. Religion and indigenous beliefs in Indonesia are explored through conversational, dialogic, and humorous discussions between two speakers. This study uses a qualitative research method with content analysis as its primary analytical approach. To strengthen the research, the author also employs library research by reviewing various relevant literature. The primary data source of this research is Habib Ja’far al-Hadar’s podcast channel, supported by books and scholarly articles related to the theme of religious tolerance. The findings indicate that several episodes of the Noice podcast “Berbeda Tapi Bersama” reveal crucial points for the future of tolerance in Indonesia. The author identifies several indications, including that each religion offers exemplary teachings and encourages respect for the principles and rules of other religions. Each religion has points of convergence and similarities, even if its intentions and values differ. These elements demonstrate strong respect and tolerance, with dialogue serving as a key foundation for sustaining diversity.
