Abstract

Understanding physics concepts remains a focal point of education, continually researched and sought for appropriate solutions, especially in teaching strategies. The teaching strategies employed vary greatly in influencing students' understanding of concepts. The aim of this research is to identify effective solutions in enhancing students' understanding of physics concepts, based on data obtained from various relevant journals from 2010 to 2022. This study was conducted using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, utilizing databases such as ERIC, Journal of Education Research, British Education Journal, and other journals indexed by SINTA to identify, review, evaluate, and interpret available research. The results indicate that an effective teaching strategy to enhance students' understanding of concepts is Problem-Based Learning (PBL).

Abstract

One of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) goals is to improve the quality of learning. However, school teachers have not integrated the SDGs into the learning process. Therefore, applying the SDGs in school learning is important for students to understand global issues and overcome everyday challenges. This research aims to develop a flipbook-based science e-module that is feasible for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for elementary school students that is valid and practical. This type of research is development research by adopting the Brog and Gall model. The data collection technique used is quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The subjects of this research were grade VI students at SD Negeri 3 Bandungrejosari Malang City. The instruments used in this study were interview and questionnaire instruments. The material expert validation assessment results obtained a score of 87.9% in the "very feasible" category. The average assessment of language experts shows a percentage of 94.6%, which is classified as "very feasible." Media experts also assessed the science e-module with a "very feasible" category with a feasibility level of 97.1%. The teacher's practicality questionnaire showed an average percentage of 86% with the category "Practical." Furthermore, based on the assessment of ten students after the science e-module trial, the average practicality reached 96.8% with the category "very practical." This research can be a reference for other researchers in developing SDGs-based science e-modules. So, it can be concluded that developing flipbook-based science e-modules to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for elementary school students is feasible and can be used in the learning process.

Abstract

Systematic literature review: Project-based learning integrated with STEM   Abstract: The study aims to emphasize and clarify that research using the PjBL-STEM model has a positive impact on learning. The research method uses Systematic Literature Review (SLR) where researchers study or review 72 articles from several journals through the Scopus database with a range of years 2018-2022. Data collection was done through inclusion and exclusion theory so that the final results of articles were obtained from as many as 40 open-access articles with Scopus databases. The PjBL model combined with the STEM approach is an innovative step in learning that gives students the opportunity to plan the learning process collaboratively and produce a specific product that is used as a learning resource. Among them, PjBL-STEM can improve problem-solving skills, can improve literacy, can increase self-efficacy, is able to improve the learning outcomes of pupils, as well as make pupils interested in the direction of careers and STEM profession because pupils learn with fun and learning delivered meaningful (meaningful learning). The ability of this positive impact will be the future supply of students in developing the skills of the 21st century.
