Abstract

Remaja merupakan fase transisi dari anak-anak menuju dewasa dengan berbagai perkembangan termasuk hormonal dan psikologis. Resiliensi dapat membantu remaja dalam menentukan tujuan hidup dengan pendekatan kekuatan yang dimiliki. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui resiliensi remaja di wilayah pesisir dengan berbagai keadaan yang ada di wilayah tersebut. Artikel menggunakan pendekatan scoping review. Artikel yang dipilih sesuai kriteria inklusi yaitu artikel terpublikasi 10 tahun terakhir (2013-2023), artikel primer, full-text, artikel dalam bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris. Pencarian artikel menggunakan kerangka kerja PCC dengan kata kunci “Remaja”, “Resiliensi”, dan “Pesisir” melalui database elektronik yaitu Scopus, ScienceDirect, PubMed, CINAHL, DOAJ, Garuda dan Google Scholar. Artikel ini mengikuti pedoman The Preferred Reporting Item for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis for Scoping Review (PRISMA-ScR). Resiliensi remaja dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan. Wilayah pesisir memiliki karakteristik selalu berubah-ubah dan rentan terkena bencana alam. Maka remaja yang tinggal di wilayah pesisir memiliki resiliensi untuk mencegah terjadinya masalah pada kesehatan mental remaja. Berdasarkan hasil review artikel, remaja yang mengalami bencana alam di wilayah pesisir memiliki tingkat resiliensi yang baik yang dipengaruhi oleh koping, kemampuan adaptasi, percaya diri, religiusitas atau dukungan spiritual, dukungan sosial, dan humor.

Abstract

Abstrak: Remaja dalam menjalani fase transisi kehidupannya, rentan mengalami masalah psikososial. Hal tersebut dikaitkan dengan adanya dinamika interaksi sosial tanpa batasan, tuntutan akademik dan lain sebagainya, sehingga mereka perlu memiliki strategi khusus dalam menghadapi permasalahan tersebut, salah satunya dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan boundaries management. Tujuan dari pendidikan kesehatan ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan remaja mengenai boundaries management dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode yang digunakan yaitu berupa pendidikan kesehatan yang dilakukan dengan tiga tahap yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Peserta pada kegiatan pengabdian ini berjumlah 31 orang siswa kelas 9 dari Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kabupaten Pangandaran. Hasil dievaluasi secara langsung dengan metode observasi dan pertanyaan sebanyak 10 pertanyaan tertutup. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi didapatkan hasil dari skor pre-test yaitu sebanyak 69% sedangkan post-test yaitu 96%. Sehingga terlihat adanya peningkatan skor pre-test dan post-test sebanyak 27%. Kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan ini memberikan dampak positif pada peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman remaja mengenai boundaries management. Rekomendasi kegiatan selanjutnya adalah integrasi pendidikan boundaries management dalam kurikulum sekolah, peningkatan kolaborasi sekolah dan orang tua, pelaksanaan program pendidikan kesehatan secara berkelanjutan, kampanye publik tentang pentingnya boundaries management, dan pengabdian lanjutan mengenai efektivitas program.Abstract: Adolescents in undergoing the transitional phase of their lives are vulnerable to psychosocial problems. This is associated with the dynamics of social interaction without boundaries, academic demands and so on, so they need to have special strategies in dealing with these problems, one of which can be done by using boundaries management. The purpose of this health education is to increase adolescents' awareness and knowledge about boundaries management in everyday life. The method used is health education which is carried out in three stages, namely the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. Participants in this service activity amounted to 31 9th grade students from junior high schools in Pangandaran Regency. The results were evaluated directly with the observation method and 10 closed questions. Based on the evaluation results, the results of the pre-test score were 69% while the post-test was 96%. So that there is an increase in pre-test and post-test scores by 27%. This health education activity has a positive impact on increasing adolescents' knowledge and understanding of boundaries management. Recommendations for further activities are the integration of boundaries management education in the school curriculum, increased collaboration between schools and parents, implementation of health education programs in a sustainable manner, public campaigns on the importance of boundaries management, and further work on the effectiveness of the program.

Abstract

Pneumothorax is a condition in which air enters the pleural cavity of the lungs, potentially disrupting the respiratory process. A common clinical manifestation is severe shortness of breath during inspiration. Pursed-lip breathing is a non-pharmacological therapy that can relax the respiratory muscles and reduce dyspnea. This study aims to examine the application of pursed-lip breathing in a patient with pneumothorax and its effect on respiratory status. Mr. X, a 70-year-old fisherman, was admitted to the hospital with complaints of severe shortness of breath and difficulty breathing. The patient was medically diagnosed with right-sided pneumothorax due to ruptured bleb, suspected to be caused by chronic active pulmonary tuberculosis. A chest tube thoracostomy (CTT) procedure had been performed. The patient had a 55-year history of smoking 1.5-2 packs of cigarettes per day. This case report employed a nursing care approach. The intervention administered was pursed-lip breathing, conducted over three days with three repetitions per session. The evaluation focused on respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, and the level of dyspnea based on the Modified Borg Scale and the Modified Medical Research Council (mMRC) Dyspnea Scale. Evaluation results showed a decrease in respiratory rate from 25 to 21 breaths per minute and an increase in oxygen saturation from 94% to 97%. Additionally, dyspnea severity decreased from a Borg score of 3 to 2 and from mMRC grade 2 to grade 1 following the intervention. Pursed-lip breathing can improve respiratory status and reduce dyspnea, suggesting its potential as a non-pharmacological therapy for patients with pneumothorax.
