Abstract

Konstruksi pola dasar Soen adalah sistem menggambar pola pakaian wanita yang berasal dari Bunka Fashion College di Jepang. Pola dasar Danckaerts adalah pola yang berasal dari Belanda yang terdiri dari pola badan depan dan belakang, pola lengan dan rok. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelebihan dan kekurangan pola Soen dan Danckaerts, untuk menghasilkan pola baru (pola lestari) yang lebih cocok untuk wanita berpostur tubuh pendek gemuk. Penelitian ini menggunakan R&D (Research and Development). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) uji coba produk awal pengembangan kombinasi pola Soen dan Danckaerts menjadi pola berkelanjutan untuk wanita gemuk pendek diklasifikasikan ke dalam kategori sesuai dengan skor pencapaian 74%. 2) uji coba produk akhir menyatakan bahwa pengembangan kombinasi pola Soen dan Danckaerts menjadi pola lestari untuk wanita bertubuh pendek dan gemuk memiliki kualitas yang sangat baik dengan persentase 96%.

Abstract

Developments in information technology such as the Internet, social media, and mobile devices have provided broad and immediate access to information and social interaction. However, the impact of information technology on the behavior of the Z Generation in dealing with the conflict still needs to be studied in depth. This study aims to explore the role of information technology in changing the behavior of the Z Generation in dealing with conflict. The Z Generation, which consists of individuals born between 1995 and 2010, grows and develops amidst the rapid advances in information technology. This study will use a qualitative approach by collecting data through in-depth interviews and participatory observation. Research participants will consist of Z Generation individuals who actively use information technology in their daily lives. This study will analyze the role of information technology in changing the behavior of the Z Generation in dealing with conflict, both in personal, social, and environmental contexts. Factors such as fast access to information, the influence of social media, and the ability to communicate virtually will be explored in relation to changes in the behavior of the Z Generation. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide better insight into how information technology influences the way Z Generation deals with conflict, as well as the implications of the change in behavior. The results of this research are expected to contribute to our understanding of how information technology can be used effectively in supporting the social and personal development of the Z Generation in dealing with conflicts in the digital era.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Langowan and focused on managing the conflict among students. It could be described as follows: (1) the types of conflict between groups of students, (2) how the strategies of the headmaster in managing the conflict. This investigation used a qualitative approach. The techniques of collecting data were: (1) observation, (2) interview, (3) document study, (4) and compilation of the three techniques (triangulation). The research instruments were the researcher herself, field notes, and interview guidelines. The obtained data was analyzed by following: (1) coding, (2) data reduction, (3) data display, (4) data verification, and then the data verification, was done as follows: (a) credibility, (b) transferability, (c) dependability. Based on data analysis, the findings were as follows: 1. The types of conflict among 14 groups of students: (1) a group of clever students insulted then a group of less clever students, (2) another group of students was playing gane the other group of students interrupted the play, (3) different opinion in discussion among groups of students, (4) one student in a group attack a student in another group caused conflict between the groups, (5) conflict between groups because one student of the group moved into the other group. 2. Based on research funding, most teachers at SMP Negeri 3 were interviewed, and according to them, the funding results were true. The strategies used by the headmaster to handle the conflict among groups of students are (a) trust to solve the problem to the teacher who became picket, (b) if it was not solved then trust it to OSIS, (c) and then to the special teacher, counselor, (d) and then the lost, would be solved by the headmaster by using problem-solving approached.

Abstract

This research focuses on students of the gastronomy, tourism/hospitality, and fashion design study program of the Faculty of Engineering, Manado State University, in the odd semester of the 2015/2016 academic year. The students selected in this study are 48 people. This study uses qualitative research. The data collection techniques used are (1) Observation, (2) Interview, (3) Documentation study, and (4) a combination of the three (triangular). The research instruments are the researcher himself, a field notebook, and equipped with an interview guide. The data obtained was then analyzed by the following steps: (1) coding, (2) data reduction, (3) data recitation, and (4) data verification. Furthermore, the validity of the data is carried out with the following steps: (a) Credibility, (b) transferability, and (c) dependability. From the results of the research obtained by the researcher through interviews with 48 students, the conflicts that occurred between students and students (individual conflicts) in the Department of Family Welfare Education of the Department of Culinary Arts, Tourism/Hospitality, and Fashion Study Program at Manado State University were caused by: (1) borrowing money was not returned (2) borrowed books were not returned (3) differences of opinion in group discussions (4) group assignments were entered late (5) there was no cooperation in making group assignments and the last sequence (6) of money theft. Based on the students' findings, the researcher interviewed lecturers of the PKK Department of the Gastronomy, tourism/hospitality, and fashion study program of the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Manado, and almost all lecturers supported the students' statements. The strategies used by the head of the PKK department in managing conflicts include: (a) the head of the department gives trust to the head of the level in resolving individual conflicts, (b) if this case cannot be resolved by the head of the level, then the head of the department takes over the case using a problem-solving approach.

Abstract

Personality covers all ages, both physical and psychic, so it can be known that every action and behavior of a person is a reflection of a person's personality. Many conflicts occur in educational organizations and the future is likely to increase. The purpose of this research is to find out the causes of conflicts between students through more in-depth research. The method used is a qualitative method with data collection carried out by interviewing 19 students. The results of this study show that various conflicts occur among students such as mocking parents, mocking friends, misunderstandings, disrupting, rude, and stealing writing stationery. This study recommends strategies, namely using a problem-solving approach and a character development approach for the younger generation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan teknik pembuatan pola dasar busana wanita dengan hasil belajar peserta didik di SMK Negeri 1 Tondano. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 23 siswa jurusan tata busana yang sekaligus menjadi populasi melalui teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi, dengan uji validitas menggunakan rumus Product Moment dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan Alpha Cronbach. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis menggunakan koefisien korelasi product moment serta koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,437 yang lebih besar dari nilai kritis 0,433 pada taraf signifikansi 5%, menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan. Koefisien determinasi sebesar 18,6% yang berarti pengetahuan pola dasar busana memberikan kontribusi terhadap hasil belajar, sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain. Dengan demikian, terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kedua variabel tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Manado dalam membeli pakaian bekas di Pasar Tondano Minahasa, serta mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian dan kreativitas mahasiswa dalam mengupcycle pakaian bekas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan kuesioner online (Google Form). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat minat mahasiswa dalam membeli pakaian bekas tergolong tinggi. Faktor-faktor utama yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian meliputi harga yang ekonomis, variasi model, kualitas bahan yang masih baik, dan pengaruh lingkungan sosial. Selain itu, mahasiswa memanfaatkan pakaian bekas untuk berkreasi melalui upcycle, antara lain dengan mengubah model pakaian agar lebih sesuai tren, menyesuaikan ukuran agar pas di badan, dan menggunakan pakaian bekas sebagai bahan tugas dalam mata kuliah Tata Busana.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kakas, and is described as follows: (1) types of conflict between student groups, (2) school strategies for handling conflict. This study employed qualitative research. The data collection techniques used were (1) observation, (2) interviews, (3) documentation studies, (4) and a combination of the three (triangulation). The research instruments were self-research, field notes, and an interview guide. The data obtained were then analyzed using the following steps: (a) Credibility, (b) Tranferability, (c) Dependability. Based on the research results, the following findings were obtained: 1. From the research results obtained by the researcher through interviews with 26 groups of students, the conflicts that occurred between student groups at SMA Negeri 1 Kakas were caused by: (1) Conflicts between student groups arose due to mutual teasing, (2) Conflicts between student groups occurred due to misunderstandings, (3) Conflicts between student groups were caused by jealousy. 2. Based on the findings from the 26 groups, the researcher interviewed teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Kakas, and most of the teachers supported the statements from the student groups. The researcher also interviewed the principal of SMA Negeri 1 Kakas, and he supported the statements from the teachers. Next, the researcher interviewed security at SMA Negeri 1 Kakas, and he supported the statements from the students, teachers, and the principal.
