Abstract

Low literacy skills lead to low interest in reading among students, especially elementary school children. One of the government's steps in an effort to increase students' interest in reading is the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program. The effort made is by reading for 15 minutes, the books read start from story books and comic books according to what elementary school children like. The purpose of this research is to foster students' interest in reading which has been lost due to the influence of globalization in this modern era. Where elementary school children nowadays play gadgets more often than reading books, especially their school books. This study used a qualitative approach with the library research method. The object of study and data analysis is carried out by reviewing several relevant journals and various reports related to the problem to be solved. The results of the study show that the literacy movement can foster interest in reading in elementary school students. Because in general children like to read stories, such as comic stories or fables that have interesting pictures.

Abstract

Fuel oil (BBM) is one of the needs of the community in carrying out their activities. With the increase in fuel prices, the economic condition of the community becomes unstable. This paper aims to determine the condition of the people who are directly affected by the increase in fuel prices and the efforts made by the government to improve the welfare of its citizens in the current condition. The research was conducted with a qualitative approachwhich aims to understand and interpret the subject and provide an overview of the symptoms that appear. With data collection techniques using interviews are open-ended questions and documentation studies. Based on this research, it was found that there are clear impacts arising from the increase in fuel oil (BBM), starting from the lack ofcommunity income, public transport fares, purchasing power, and so on. And the government is trying to overcome this problem by providing assistance to the community in the form of direct cash assistance (BLT), wage subsidies, transportation assistance, and additional social protection for online motorcycle taxis, public transportation, and fishermen.

Abstract

This research aims to look at the physical, psychomotor, cognitive, social, emotional, moral and spiritual development of 6th grade elementary school children. This research uses a qualitative research approach with descriptive methods. The object of the research is a 6th grade elementary school child named Zahwa Asyifa. Zahwa's development has been quite good in various aspects. First, his physical and psychomotor development has shown good progress. Second, in terms of emotions, Zahwa can control her emotions well, although sometimes she can get angry if she continues to be disturbed. Third, in terms of social development, Zahwa tends to prefer being alone at home and socializing less with her friends. Fourth, Zahwa's cognitive development is very good, as evidenced by the high scores she obtained, especially in mathematics. Lastly, in spiritual development, Zahwa has shown progress, even though sometimes his prayers are missed, especially at midday prayer time which coincides with coming home from school and at evening time which is often late after doing his homework.
