The Implementation of The Values of Religious Moderation in the Local Content of Minangkabau Culture: A Gender Perspective at Bukittinggi Elementary School Citra Dewi, Ayu

Abstract

This research explores the Implementation of Religious Moderation Values in Minangkabau Cultural Local Content. The local content focuses on character building based on the noble values of Minangkabau natural culture, namely PK-BAM. Using descriptive qualitative methods, data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers and principals, direct observation of learning activities, and curriculum documentation studies. The collected data were analyzed using the Miles Huberman interactive model including data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. To ensure data validity, this study used triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of the PK-BAM curriculum has been running since 2022 in elementary schools in Bukittinggi City with learning once a week. The learning method combines face-to-face learning and direct practice of traditional values, involving traditional leaders such as ninik mama and bundo kanduang as guest teachers. Religious moderation means applying a balanced way of religion by prioritizing tolerance, respecting differences, upholding national values, and respecting local culture. Although the value of religious moderation is not explicitly listed in the textbooks, teachers creatively integrate it in learning. The PK-BAM curriculum influences students' understanding of cultural values and religious moderation. Students show appreciation of cultural values in daily life, respect religious and cultural differences and prioritize peace. The sustainability of the PK-BAM curriculum is ensured through the support of regional policies and the active involvement of community leaders, in line with the vision of “Bukittinggi Hebat” which is based on Adat Basandi Syarak and Syarak Basandi Kitabullah.

Abstract

This research is based on the problem found at Darul Falah Islamic Kindergarten in Padang Panjang which is the lack of learning medium support in enhancing the language skills of early childhood students. To address this issue the researcher developed creative songs. This study aims to improve early childhood language skills through the development of creative song media at TK Islam Darul Falah Padang Panjang. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4-D development model: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research subjects are early childhood learners, and the object is the creative song media. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, while the data analysis technique uses descriptive quantitative analysis. The validation results by the material expert showed an eligibility rate of 88%, and the media expert validation reached 96.36%, both categorized as highly feasible. Field trials showed an average score of 83.53% with children's language development categorized as developing very well. The conclusion of this research is that the creative songs are highly feasible and effective as learning media to improve early childhood language skills

Abstract

Di era digital, anak usia dini mengalami kesulitan menyimak dan berbicara, ditandai ketidakmampuan memahami perintah, kurangnya fokus, keterbatasan kosakata, dan kesulitan mengekspresikan diri. Literasi multimodal mengintegrasikan stimulus visual, auditori, dan kinestetik melalui bercerita interaktif, role play, gerak-lagu, dan video. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengkaji dan menganalisis efektivitas literasi multimodal dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak dan berbicara untuk mengoptimalkan perkembangan bahasa anak usia dini secara holistik.  Penelitian ini mengkaji efektivitas literasi multimodal menggunakan metode Action Research Kemmis dan Mc Taggart dengan dua siklus (perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, refleksi) bertema kebersihan diri. Dari 11 anak usia 4-5 tahun di RA Rahmah El Yunusiyyah, 90,9% mencapai perkembangan sangat baik dalam menyimak dan memahami cerita, sementara minimal 72,7% berkembang sesuai harapan dalam keterampilan berbahasa lainnya. Literasi multimodal terbukti efektif mengoptimalkan perkembangan bahasa anak usia dini secara holistik. Penerapan literasi multimodal melalui media audio storytelling merupakan strategi yang efektif untuk mengembangkan keterampilan bahasa anak usia dini. Implementasi pendekatan ini, dengan memperhatikan rekomendasi yang diberikan, berpotensi memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan bahasa pada jenjang PAUD.

Abstract

Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana Mengembangkan Kemampuan Berfikir Simbolis Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun di TK Kasih Bunda Kota Pariaman. Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, yang mana data-data dikumpulkan bukan berupa angka-angka, melainkan data tersebut diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara, catatan lapangan dokumen pribadi dan dokumen resmi. Subjek penelitiannya yaitu anak kelompok B1 di TK Kasih Bunda Kota Pariaman. Artikel ini merupakan kajian literatur yang membahas tentang pengertian berpikir simbolik, perkembangan berpikir simbolik,kesulitan yang dialami anak dalam berpikir simbolik, dan indikator pencapaian perkembangan berpikir simbolik.
