Abstract

Futsal is a form of indoor soccer played on a smaller field compared to regular soccer, with fewer players on each team. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of fartlek training on increasing VO2Max of Sinjay FC Bangkalan futsal players. This study used an experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were 25 samples and the sampling technique used cluster sampling, which is a sampling method that involves dividing the target population into groups that are made into research samples so that the sample of this study is U 17-18 athletes who follow the Sinjay FC Bangkalan club. Based on the results of the study that there is a significant effect of fartlek training there is an increase in VO2Max futsal club Sinjay FC Bangkalan which has been taken from the pretest with an average of the total initial test of 35.254. With the treatment of fartlek training VO2Max in Sinjay FC Bangkalan futsal athletes can increase. The results of VO2Max measurements after treatment showed that the overall average of the final evaluation showed an increase to 37.992. So that it has been tested by, prerequisite test and hypothesis test from the analysis of research data obtained it can be seen that the Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the effect of fartlek training on increasing VO2Max athletes who are real between fartlek training and control training. The results of this analysis will show how strong or weak the relationship between fartlek training performed by futsal players and the increase in their VO2Max.

Abstract

Basketball is a team sport that is popular with many people, because it is not only healthy but also fun. The ability to master basic basketball techniques is necessary to create good cooperation between teams. The aim of this research is to determine the capacity of basic basketball dribbling and lay-up techniques among students of the 2022 Sports Education Study Program at STKIP PGRI Bangkalan. This research method uses test and measurement techniques. The results of this research are that the dribble and lay-up test instruments have a high level of validity with calculation results using the CVR formula of 1.00. Meanwhile, the instrument test results obtained an R2 of 0.562, which means it has moderate reliability. This research conducted a validity test on basketball dribbles using CVR validity to obtain a correlation coefficient of 0.733 or it could be stated to have high validity. Results of instrument testing in this study showed that the minimum value of the dribble instrument was 1.00, the maximum value was 3, the sum value was 69.00, the average value was 1.9714 and the standard deviation value was 0.45. The descriptive analysis of lay-up test results has a minimum value of 2.00, a maximum value of 4.00, a sum value of 82.00, an average value of 2.3429 and a standard deviation value of 0.59. The recommendation that will be given is the need for regular independent training for students using dribble and lay-up exercises to improve skills in the game of basketball

Abstract

Maximal oxygen volume (VO₂Max) is a major indicator of aerobic capacity and cardiovascular health. At the age of 30 years, there is a gradual decline in cardiorespiratory function if not balanced with adequate physical activity. Swimming training is categorized as a low-impact aerobic activity that involves many muscle groups simultaneously and has the potential to increase VO₂Max in non-athlete populations. This study aims to evaluate the effect of 30-minute swimming training on increasing VO₂Max in 30-year-old non-athlete individuals. The design of this study was a one-group pretest-posttest with a quantitative approach. A total of 20 male subjects aged 30 years (±1 year), who were physically inactive and had no history of chronic disease, participated in a swimming training program for six weeks, three times a week, each for 30 minutes. VO₂Max was measured using a multistage fitness test (beep test) before and after the intervention. Statistical analysis used a paired t-test with a significance level of p <0.05. The results showed a statistically significant increase in VO₂Max (mean pretest = 35.2 ± 3.4 ml/kg/min; posttest = 39.1 ± 3.6 ml/kg/min; p < 0.001), indicating a positive adaptation to aerobic training in water. Regular 30-minute swimming training has been shown to be effective in increasing VO₂Max in non-athlete 30-year-old individuals. This training can be recommended as an efficient and low-risk fitness strategy for the productive age group.

Abstract

Leg muscle power and reaction speed are important components in athlete performance, especially in sports that require explosive movements such as sprinting, jumping, and rapid changes of direction. The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of a combination of plyometric and agility ladder training on increasing leg muscle power and reaction speed, especially in futsal players. Both types of training are theoretically capable of increasing explosive ability and motor response speed. The method used was a quasi-experimental study with a pre-test and post-test design. The results showed that there was a significant increase in both physical variables studied. These findings support the use of combined training as an efficient method for developing the physical condition of futsal athletes.
