Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the physical fitness aspect of reaction speed in SMPN 1 Bangkalan students can be done online. In this research, the writer will use descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students of SMPN 1 Bangkalan with a total of 30 people. This study used the Quota Sampling technique. The research instrument used in this study was the Ruler Drop Test which was carried out online. This instrument is used to measure aspects of physical fitness, speed of reaction in the eyes and hands. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation, of the 3 data collection techniques used because the implementation of this research was carried out online using video conferencing (zoom meeting, google meet, etc.). Based on the results of the research on the implementation of the online ruler drop test to measure the physical fitness aspects of SMPN 1 Bangkalan students on test 1 and test 2, it can be concluded that students who fall into the "Very Slow" category 0%, the "Slow" category 23%, on the test 1 and 0%, on test 2, category "Normal" 47%, on test 1 and 3%, on test 2, category "Fast" 30%, on test 1 and 70%, on test 2, category "Very Fast" 0%, in test 1 and 27% in test 2, so it can be interpreted that SMPN 1 Bangkalan students can do a ruler drop test to measure aspects of physical fitness, speed of reaction online during a pandemic. In carrying out this test students and teachers can still take tests online or remotely.Keyword : Ruler Drop, Daring, Kecepatan reaksi

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the results of the statistical analysis of matches in the center playing position for the POMNAS East Java Men's Basketball Team. In this research the author used a quantitative research method using a descriptive type. The population and sample in this study is the center playing position on the men's East Java Pomnas team who played in the "2023 South Kalimantan Pomnas" match. The technique used in collecting data in this research is using documents, the documents themselves are in the form of print outs of match statistics for "Pomnas Jatim Putra" who played in the "POMNAS KALSEL 2023" match. Based on the results of research on statistical analysis of matches in the playing position of the POMNAS East Java Men's Basketball Sport Center Center in the first, second and third matches, it can be concluded that the first center in the 1st to 4th quarter was successful at 24/44, while in the first, second and third matches The second center managed 8/40 in quarters 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Abstract

Basketball is a team sport that is popular with many people, because it is not only healthy but also fun. The ability to master basic basketball techniques is necessary to create good cooperation between teams. The aim of this research is to determine the capacity of basic basketball dribbling and lay-up techniques among students of the 2022 Sports Education Study Program at STKIP PGRI Bangkalan. This research method uses test and measurement techniques. The results of this research are that the dribble and lay-up test instruments have a high level of validity with calculation results using the CVR formula of 1.00. Meanwhile, the instrument test results obtained an R2 of 0.562, which means it has moderate reliability. This research conducted a validity test on basketball dribbles using CVR validity to obtain a correlation coefficient of 0.733 or it could be stated to have high validity. Results of instrument testing in this study showed that the minimum value of the dribble instrument was 1.00, the maximum value was 3, the sum value was 69.00, the average value was 1.9714 and the standard deviation value was 0.45. The descriptive analysis of lay-up test results has a minimum value of 2.00, a maximum value of 4.00, a sum value of 82.00, an average value of 2.3429 and a standard deviation value of 0.59. The recommendation that will be given is the need for regular independent training for students using dribble and lay-up exercises to improve skills in the game of basketball

Abstract

The quality of learning and achievement of educational goals at Senior High School depend on PE teachers' competency. Because it is comprehensive and systematic, the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model should be used to evaluate PE teachers at Bogor Regency Senior High Schools. This research was quantitative. Evaluation gathers data for this project. The Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) paradigm is used to evaluate Bogor Regency senior high school physical education, sports, and health educators. This research employed purposive sampling to choose high school instructors in Bogor Regency, state school teachers, accredited teachers, and Physical Education, Sports, and Health teachers. Based on the sampling method and criteria, this study used 28 samples. Data was gathered through various methods, including observation, interviews, surveys, and document review. The data analysis used is a percentage. The findings CIPP revealed that the Pedagogical Competence: 75% in the Content aspect (good), 81% in the Input aspect (very good), 77% in the Process aspect (good), and 75% in the Product aspect (good). For Professional Competence, the Context aspect scored 76%, Input 77%, Process 73%, and Product 72%. The conclusion obtained in this study is that the Competence of public elementary school physical education and health teachers in Bogor Regency is in a good category. Based on this research, the recommendation is that broader research on teacher competency evaluation using the CIPP model for all teachers in Bogor Regency needs to be conducted.

Abstract

Maximal oxygen volume (VO₂Max) is a major indicator of aerobic capacity and cardiovascular health. At the age of 30 years, there is a gradual decline in cardiorespiratory function if not balanced with adequate physical activity. Swimming training is categorized as a low-impact aerobic activity that involves many muscle groups simultaneously and has the potential to increase VO₂Max in non-athlete populations. This study aims to evaluate the effect of 30-minute swimming training on increasing VO₂Max in 30-year-old non-athlete individuals. The design of this study was a one-group pretest-posttest with a quantitative approach. A total of 20 male subjects aged 30 years (±1 year), who were physically inactive and had no history of chronic disease, participated in a swimming training program for six weeks, three times a week, each for 30 minutes. VO₂Max was measured using a multistage fitness test (beep test) before and after the intervention. Statistical analysis used a paired t-test with a significance level of p <0.05. The results showed a statistically significant increase in VO₂Max (mean pretest = 35.2 ± 3.4 ml/kg/min; posttest = 39.1 ± 3.6 ml/kg/min; p < 0.001), indicating a positive adaptation to aerobic training in water. Regular 30-minute swimming training has been shown to be effective in increasing VO₂Max in non-athlete 30-year-old individuals. This training can be recommended as an efficient and low-risk fitness strategy for the productive age group.

Abstract

Leg muscle power and reaction speed are important components in athlete performance, especially in sports that require explosive movements such as sprinting, jumping, and rapid changes of direction. The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of a combination of plyometric and agility ladder training on increasing leg muscle power and reaction speed, especially in futsal players. Both types of training are theoretically capable of increasing explosive ability and motor response speed. The method used was a quasi-experimental study with a pre-test and post-test design. The results showed that there was a significant increase in both physical variables studied. These findings support the use of combined training as an efficient method for developing the physical condition of futsal athletes.
