Abstract

Introduction: The incidence of unsafe behavior has increased over the last three years. This was based on the incidence of minor work accidents and findings of near-miss conditions in each production area. This research aimed to analyze the association between age, tenure, and work attitude on unsafe action among “X company” workers.Methods: This study employed a quantitative analytical method with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study comprised of 93 workers in the production area of “X Company” in one of the plants. A simple random sampling technique was used, which yielded a sample size of 76 respondents. The independent variables studied were age, work tenure, and work attitude. The dependent variable was unsafe action. Data were collected through interviews using questionnaires, which had been tested for their validity and reliability. Chi-square tests and multiple logistic regressions were used for data analysis.Results: The subjects were between 25-56 years, with an average of 41.2 years. The majority of the subjects (85.5%) had work tenure for ≥ 10 years, 67.1% had negative work attitude, and 53.9% had unsafe action. There was no association between age and unsafe action (p=1.000), but there were associations between work tenure (0.004) and work attitude (p=0.0001) with unsafe action. The multiple logistic regression showed that both work tenure and attitude concurrently associated to unsafe action.Conclusion: The work tenure of more than ten years and negative work attitude were associated to unsafe action behavior in “X Company,” whereas age did not associated to unsafe behavior.

Abstract

Terdapat keterlambatan karyawan non-medis sebesar 11% di salah satu Rumah Sakit Swasta Surabaya Selatan. Sedangkan, ketentuan rumah sakit tersebut batas maksimal keterlambatan sebesar 3%. Keterlambatan berpotensi menurunkan kinerja karyawan rumah sakit. Perlu adanya kajian tentang pengaruh disiplin, motivasi, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan non-medis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menyusun rekomendasi terkait pengaruh disiplin kerja, motivasi, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai non-medis di Rumah Sakit Swasta X di Surabaya Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain crossectional. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif analitik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 239 non-medis di Rumah Sakit Swasta X Surabaya Selatan sedangkan sampel sebanyak 69 responden. Penelitian ini menggukan uji regresi logistik ordinal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja, motivasi dan lingkungan kerja pegawai non-medis di Rumah Sakit Swasta X Surabaya Selatan masuk pada kategori baik. Terdapat pengaruh antara disiplin kerja, motivasi, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai non-medis di Rumah Sakit Swasta X Surabaya Selatan. Rekomendasi yang dapat dilakukan rumah sakit untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan adalah dengan penegakan absensi kehadiran, memperjelas promosi dan jenjang karir, dan melengkapi sarana prasarana untuk menunjang pekerjaan karyawan. Rekomendasi penelitian selanjutnya menambahkan variabel lain terutama dari perspektif organisasi.

Abstract

Background: Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 2052/Menkes/Per/X/2011 concerning License to Practice and Implementation of Medical Practice states that doctors and dentists who already have a License to Practice (SIP) and provide medical services or provide expertise consultation in the event requested by a health service facility. However, there is a problem that some practices do not have a SIP. Objectives: This study aims to evaluate the license policy of doctors to practice in Bekasi using the van meter van horn approach  Methods: This qualitative research is descriptive evaluative with a case study research design. The research location is in Bekasi Regency. Policy evaluation uses van meter van horn approach by identifying several aspects, namely performance indicators, human resources, clarity of purpose, accuracy and consistency of communication, bureaucratic structure, understanding of policies and responses to policies, social influences, political influences and economic influences on the implementation of medical practice licenses in Bekasi Regency. Results: Results obtained by 12 informants from different agencies. Performance indicators show that licensing carried out by the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP) takes a long time. In terms of human resources, almost all informants stated that there was a difference between HR needs between before and during Covid. Communication indicators show that there are obstacles in the form of double communication. Policy indicators obtained results that have been carried out well and there is no policy rejection given by the government. Meanwhile, it was found that there was no social, economic and political influence with the implementation of the current policy. Conclusion:  The performance indicators of the Hospital doctor's license are clear, the performance achievement of the doctor's practice license policy is good, but in the implementation of the doctor's practice license, the obstacle faced is the lack of implementing human resources.

Abstract

Kebisingan merupakan faktor bahaya fisik yang paling dominan ditemukan di lingkungan kerja dan dapat menyebabkan berbagai masalah kesehatan seperti gangguan sistem auditori atau non-auditory seperti gangguan komunikasi, stres, gelisah, peningkatan tekanan darah hingga penurunan produktivitas kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan karakteristik responden dan intensitas kebisingan yang ada di lingkungan kerja dengan peningkatan tekanan darah pekerja di unit produksi PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia, Tbk. Plant Margomulyo pada saat sebelum dan sesudah bekerja. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu observasional analitik dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 51 orang responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara usia (p = 0,000), masa kerja (p = 0,007), penggunaan APT (p = 0,011) dan intensitas kebisingan (p = 0,000) dengan peningkatan tekanan darah serta tidak terdapat hubungan antara status gizi (p = 0,467), kebiasaan merokok (p = 0,763) dan riwayat hipertensi (p = 0,170) dengan peningkatan tekanan darah pekerja unit produksi PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia, Tbk. Plant Margomulyo.
