Abstract

Neat Barbershop is a business in the service sector located on Jl. Gajah Mada No. 55 CD, Kota Baru Bandar Lampung which aims to provide the best quality haircut service of consumer choice. However, Neat Barbershop experiences instability in the number of customers who come and tends to decrease every month. This instability can cause lagging and reduce consumer interest in using services. This study aims to identify the services needed by consumers through the voice of the customer, then analyze which services need to be improved or maximized to achieve customer satisfaction. The method used in this research is the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method which is a tool to change what consumers want into quality characteristics and develop quality planning to get a satisfactory final result with one of the techniques, House Of Quality (HOQ). Through HOQ analysis, the calculation results for each improvement and development priority resulted in 5 unsatisfactory for consumers, 5 attributes of consumer interest, and technical characteristics of the business that need to be improved to optimize the best service quality.

Abstract

Thasya Ethnic Lampung is a tapis cloth craft business that is innovated into several products ranging from clothes, bags, peci, pillow cases, tablecloths, and others. This study took the object of the Thasya Ethnic Lampung tapis craft MSME to find out how the competitive strategy of MSME is, and what can be an alternative strategy for Thasya Ethnic Lampung in facing the large number of competitors of the same type that cannot be controlled. Qualitative methods were used in the study by using an analysis tool in the form of SWOT. The results of the study showed that the condition of Thasya Ethnic Lampung was already in a condition where MSME only needed to carry out a strategy that was grow and build. The implementation of the strategy was in the form of developing a strategy from a strategy that had been used previously. Starting from the production aspect by continuing to improve, develop and always innovate related to products so that they survive and are not easily imitated by similar MSME. Furthermore, Thasya Ethnic Lampung can improve the service and marketing system with creative forms and in accordance with the development of the times and the needs of target consumers, so that it can reach a wider market. In the financial aspect, it can be complemented by improving the use of digital media as a tool for recording, calculating and storing transaction data.

Abstract

Entrepreneurs are people with a high spirit of creativity and innovation in their lives, so they must have high entrepreneurial motivation to become successful entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurial motivation is also important in generating interest in entrepreneurship, especially in running a family business. At the University of Lampung, only 1,732 of the 25,228 graduates in 2019-2023 became entrepreneurs, and just 64 became entrepreneurs to continue the family firm. This study examines if entrepreneurial desire and family business impact Generation Z Lampung University alumni's entrepreneurial decisions. Generation Z University of Lampung graduates provided 325 eligible samples for this quantitative study. After questionnaire data collection, the study was assessed for validity, reliability, and normalcy using simple linear regression and the T test. The study and discussion show that (1) entrepreneurial motivation positively and significantly affects Generation Z Lampung University graduates' entrepreneurial choices. Lampung University graduates' entrepreneurial readiness depends on their drive for independence, self-realization, and other motivators. (2 Family company positively impacts University of Lampung Generation Z alumni's entrepreneurial choices. The positive effect implies that the family gives respondents moral support and motivation to grow their company.

Abstract

This research examines how entrepreneurial mentality and inventiveness affect retired PT Great Giant Foods (GGF) Lampung Tengah workers' entrepreneurial intention. The quantitative study included questionnaires from 120 participants. The assumptions were tested using multiple linear regression with partial testing (t-test). The findings corroborate H1, demonstrating that entrepreneurial attitude positively and significantly affects entrepreneurial ambition. The more entrepreneurial a retiree is, the more likely they are to establish and maintain a firm. Creativity also positively and significantly affects entrepreneurial ambition, supporting H2. Thus, retiree inventiveness boosts entrepreneurial ambition. The lowest average score in the entrepreneurial mentality characteristic, activity planning, requires particular attention. This measure helps retirees arrange their business activities more consistently and systematically. Enhancing creativity and ideation is essential for company innovation. Improvements in these factors should boost retirees' entrepreneurial intent and success.

Abstract

The lifestyle trend of people who are increasingly aware of fashion, especially regarding shoes, encourages individuals to buy, use and even collect various types of shoes. From this trend, people are increasingly conscious of the care of their shoes, which is why they opt to use professional services to wash and care for them. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed in this study. In the face of escalating market competition, this study aims to analyse and examine the business strategies utilised by the Cleanshipp Lampung shoe wash service in Bandar Lampung. This study identifies the company's internal and external factors that affect business sustainability using the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis method, IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation), EFE (External Factor Evaluation), IE (Internal-external) Matrix, and QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix), as well as providing strategic recommendations that can be applied by the company. The research shows that the recommended strategy alternative is to "take advantage of strategic location and quality of service to deal with new competitors". Cleanshipp Lampung can add drop stations to deliver customers' shoes, and can add products such as anti-fungal liquids, and shoe perfumes, and Cleanshipp can also use social media for customer education and still maintain the duration of the work by modernising equipment.

Abstract

The banana chip industry in Lampung Province is growing rapidly due to the high production of bananas in the area. Banana is one of the leading commodities along with coffee and pepper. Although bananas are usually sold in their raw form, due to their perishability, the banana chip industry has become a more durable alternative. This study aims to provide light on Askha Jaya's business development practices, specifically whether or not the company continues to use the Red Ocean Strategy approach to rivalry in the market. Interviews and written records serve as main and secondary sources of information. The tools used for data analysis include SWOT, IFE, and matrices, as well as a scheme. Matrixes for internal and external factors, as well as four-step framework and strategy canvas. And currently, Askha Jaya Banana Chips still use Samudera Merah, according to research findings.

Abstract

This study investigates production scale planning at CV Hadori, a fish processing company, using Break-Even Point (BEP) analysis and linear trend forecasting. The company faces significant overproduction of minced fish, leading to excess inventory and reduced profits. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach, analyzing historical production and sales data through trend analysis and BEP calculations. Findings indicate that CV Hadori must produce and sell over 405,436 kg of processed fish in 2026 to achieve profitability. Recommendations include optimizing production and sales strategies, investing in appropriate machinery, and continuously monitoring market conditions to adjust forecasts. Effective production planning will help minimize surplus, enhance profitability, and ensure long-term sustainability.

Abstract

The quality of electronic services is a matter that refers to the extent to which a company or online business has facilities related to purchasing, to the process of delivering products that are carried out effectively and efficiently. The electronic service owned by McDonald's restaurants is the McDelivery mobile application. The McDelivery mobile application is a fast food ordering application from the McDonald's company which was developed to assist marketing effectiveness and provide convenience in ordering food remotely to consumers. McDelivery mobile application on Playstore has a rating of 3+. In the review or review column in the Playstore, it shows that many of the McDelivery application downloaders gave bad reviews about this application. This shows that there is a gap between consumers and the ordering system used when the system has limitations to meet consumer needs. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the quality of electronic services, namely e-servqual on the McDelivery mobile application on the satisfaction of generation Z consumers. The data collection method in this study used a questionnaire distributed to all McDelivery consumers with the criteria of generation Z as many as 100 people. The results of this study support the hypothesis that e-servqual has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction of Generation Z on the McDelivery mobile application. Suggestions for McDonald's to always improve the quality of electronic services (e-servqual) by improving the quality of electronic services on the dimensions of the availability system on their McDelivery mobile application
