Abstract

This research is located in conventional car washes where there are still many who use human labor in carrying out car wash activities. The posture during the car wash is considered less ergonomic, so this study aims to help car wash workers reduce their fatigue and even help their work position become more ergonomic. This research began with observations at the car wash and also interviews with workers. Interviews with the workers were conducted using the Nordic Body Map (NBM). Based on the results of observations and interviews, it was determined that the working posture was considered less ergonomic where there were three working postures, namely the posture when taking the water hose, the posture of washing the side of the car, and the posture of washing the top of the car. The three postures that are considered problematic are analyzed using the Workplace Ergonomic Risk Assessment (WERA) to determine the value of their ergonomics. When he learned that the three postures were problematic, the research continued by designing tools to reduce workload, this design was carried out using the VDI 2222 method. Designing with the VDI 2222 method there are 4 stages, namely analysis, concept, design, and completion. By using the VDI 2222 method, the concept, size, and specifications needed for belts and seats are known as a car washing aid. The last stage of this study is to re-analyze with the WERA method on all three postures but with the help of tools.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company that produces industrial shelf. There were several complaints such as dented racks, peeled off paint racks, uneven heights, incomplete and untidy welds, or other things that caused customer dissatisfaction. This research aims to measure the level of customer satisfaction with the company's performance in the service aspect and also the quality of the products produced. With this research, it will provide recommendations for improvements to PT. XYZ. The service quality method is used to determine the distribution of attributes based on quadrants. After the results were obtained, further questionnaires were distributed regarding product quality. Finally, it is continued with the Quality Function Deployment method for making a House of Quality and the priority technical response is obtained, namely the need to improve product quality as a top priority, the need to select and use appropriate and reliable material suppliers as the second priority, the need to pay attention to checking goods so that they are delivered properly as the third priority, it is necessary to hold training for production workers as the fourth priority. Meanwhile, based on the normalized row weight, the attributes that affect quality are the design of the shelf model, the neatness of the product in the process, the superiority of the product compared to competitors, the product reaches the customer without any defects, the product has been tested in use.

Abstract

SME Garmen X has been operating for more than 30 years by carrying out the production process from sheet fabric to finished clothes. SME X which is engaged in the garment manufacturing industry already has many loyal customers who entrust their clothing production with several types of models to SME X. Based on the results of observations and interviews conducted with owners and workers at SME X, information was obtained that the production process with the make to order system often experiences delays in the production process. Therefore, a lean manufacturing approach is needed to minimize waste and maximize production time. The application of lean manufacturing is carried out by making current value stream mapping, and identifying waste using the waste relationship matrix (WRM) and waste assessment questionnaire (WAQ). After the results are obtained, the next step is to select tools using the VALSAT method. Based on the results of the data, the 3 highest wastage scores were obtained, namely motion (19.89%), defect (19.22%), and waiting (16.89%). Furthermore, the results of the average score were multiplied by the detail mapping multiplier factor and the dominant tool was obtained, namely process activity mapping (PAM) of 542.23. Then analyze the causes of the problem using a fishbone diagram and five whys analysis. Improvements were made by implementing 5S, standard operating procedures, making machine setting instructions, and surprise inspections. The results show an increase in process cycle efficiency of 13.14%.

Abstract

Today's increasingly rapid industrial development means that companies must pay attention to several things during the production process so that they can face the tough competition, one of which is by paying more attention to the quality of their products and the risks that could result in the product becoming defective so that it can meet customer satisfaction. Labor is one of the important factors that a company has, for this reason, an even workload and in accordance with capacity is one of the things that greatly influences the performance of the workforce to produce products that comply with standards. This analysis uses several methods, including: cardio vascular load, full time equivalent, and line balancing. This research aims to provide suggestions for improvements that are expected to reduce the workload of production workers and waiting times at PT. From the research carried out, it can be concluded that materials mixing workstations experience excessive workload or are overloaded so that work on these workstations is less than optimal, so that more operator power is needed or additional operators are needed at materials mixing workstations. The packing work station experiences underload or underload so it is necessary to reduce operators so that it does not become a burden on the company, especially in salary expenses.

Abstract

PT. Wijaya Anugerah Abadi is a company engaged in services related to air conditioners both in terms of installation, removal and maintenance. This company serves from the aspect of sales, installation, service, and repair for all the needs of individuals, offices, factories, etc. Companies need many types of freon tubes to support their work. Storage of freon tubes when aligned below is very space-consuming and makes it difficult for technicians to identify the type of freon tube because several freon tubes have the same color, therefore in this study the authors are trying to make a freon tube storage rack which is expected to make it easier for technicians to identify the type of tube freon is needed, besides that this storage rack is expected to increase the space efficiency of the company. Data collection and processing includes several things, namely respondent data, product prerequisite questions and product research questions. The questionnaire is intended to obtain respondent data in using the tool you want to design. Then, the use of the Nordic Body Map questionnaire aims to determine work discomfort felt by workers. The researcher will continue the design according to the company's needs. using the VDI 2221 method. Based on the results of observations and interviews with workers, it can be concluded that there are still many physical complaints experienced by workers, so this research is focused on reducing workers' physical complaints. The design of the Freon tube storage rack designed in this study is aimed at reducing the physical complaints of workers in picking up and storing freon tubes.

Abstract

In the production process, IMK usually produces in traditional ways and has not automated. This means that the production process depends on human labor. Therefore, a review was carried out on one of the IMK that carried out Dodol production. To produce dodol food takes 8 to 10 hours of work. Initial observations were made to find out what problems could be used as research topics, based on initial observations made in the study, a problem topic was found in Dodol MSMEs in Tangerang. The highest complaints are felt on the back, soles of the feet, knees, and elbows. After a work risk analysis using the REBA and WERA methods, it was found that the risk in the dough kneading process was found to be high and changes needed to be made. Therefore, the design was carried out by considering ergonomic aspects, using the SCAMPER method. After the design, a simulation was carried out with the help of blender software to determine changes in REBA and WERA scores. Three design was created and the third design was chosen as the final design, with a height of 170 cm and a widht of 134 cm. It was found that the new design REBA score is 3 which is classified as low risk and the WERA score is 23 which is also classified as low risk.

Abstract

Game Kart Drift Race (KDR) adalah game balapan berbasis Android yang dikembangkan pada tahun 2024 di Universitas Tarumanagara menggunakan teknologi Unity dan Blender. Game ini menghadirkan dua mode permainan: Single Race, di mana pemain bersaing untuk mencapai posisi pertama, dan Cup Race, yang mengharuskan pemain memenangkan serangkaian balapan di berbagai peta untuk mengumpulkan skor tertinggi. Mekanik utama KDR adalah drift boosting, yang menambah kecepatan saat pemain melakukan drift secara tepat, serta Random Box yang menyediakan item acak untuk membantu atau mengganggu lawan, mirip dengan mekanisme dalam game Crash Team Racing (CTR). Pemain dapat memilih satu dari enam karakter dan enam peta yang tersedia, masing-masing dengan tema dan tantangan unik. Fitur lain yang menambah variasi dalam permainan meliputi Random Weapon Crate yang memberikan senjata acak, Coin Crate berisi koin untuk ditukar dengan peningkatan, Boost Pad untuk mempercepat kendaraan, serta koin yang tersebar di trek balapan untuk meningkatkan skor dan kecepatan. Pengujian dilakukan dengan tiga metode utama: blackbox testing untuk menguji fungsionalitas permainan, alpha testing untuk memperoleh umpan balik awal dari pengguna, dan beta testing untuk menyempurnakan kualitas serta stabilitas sebelum rilis final. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa game KDR memberikan pengalaman balapan yang seru dengan kontrol yang responsif dan desain trek yang bervariasi. Kontribusi utama dari pengembangan ini adalah penerapan mekanik drift boosting yang inovatif pada game balapan Android dan penggunaan Random Box yang menambah elemen strategi dalam permainan balap.

Abstract

Product quality is a crucial aspect in the manufacturing industry, especially in the packaging industry, which plays a significant role in maintaining consumer perception and company image. Gummed tape department is one of the production units facing the challenges related into various defect issues. These defect impacts production efficiency, increasing costs, and reducing customer trust. This research aims to identify the problems, analyze the root causes, and propose solutions to address them. the research employs the New Seven Quality Management Tools, including Affinity Diagram, Relations Diagram, Tree Diagram, Matrix Diagram, Matrix Data Analysis, Arrow Diagram and Process Decision Program Chart. The analysis results indicate that the main factors consist of 5 aspects, Human, Material, Machine, Process, and Environment. The problems found are process inconsistencies, Inappropriate work environment, non-standard materials, no inspection and others. Suggestions for improvement that can be given are in the form of updating SOP, providing training for operators, adjusting the work environment, conducting inspections between processes.

Abstract

The pharmaceutical industry has a significant impact on the environment, including air, soil, and water pollution caused by production waste. In an effort to address this issue, the implementation of Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) has become a strategic and effective approach to improve operational efficiency while minimizing environmental impact. This study aims to evaluate the performance of Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) in a pharmaceutical company using the Green Supply Chain Operations Reference (Green SCOR) approach. The Green SCOR framework includes five main elements: Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, and Return. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with primary data obtained through interviews, discussions, and questionnaires with relevant managers, as well as secondary data from company documentation. The evaluation results show that out of 30 performance indicators measured, 11 did not meet company standards, including raw material planning accuracy, material efficiency, transportation emissions, and recycling rates of solid and liquid waste. Therefore, a comprehensive evaluation was conducted by categorizing the findings into four dimensions: planning, production, distribution, and waste management. This study recommends the implementation of integrated systems, advancement of production technology, optimization of logistics, and strengthening of waste management systems to sustainably improve the performance of Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM).

Abstract

In the oil and gas drilling services sector, PT. XYZ faces obstacles in the form of late delivery of materials from suppliers which can affect operational efficiency and result in downtime. The purpose of this study is to evaluate SCM performance by applying the SCOR model and the AHP approach to identify areas that need improvement. Calculated using the SCOR model, there are five main processes, namely plan, source, make, deliver and return. After conducting a questionnaire, 17 performance indicators were selected with the attributes of reliability, responsiveness, and asset. The AHP approach was applied to give weight to the performance indicators to identify the main criteria and priorities. With a performance value of 87.41, the measurement results indicate that PT. XYZ supply chain management is running quite well. There are 2 (two) of the 17 performance indicators measured, namely adherence to production and number of touble machines, that need to be improved.
