Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the performance of the Secretariat staff of the Bengkulu City General Election Commission (KPU) in the implementation of the 2018 Regional Head Election (Pilkada). A descriptive qualitative method was used, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The research focused on five effectiveness indicators according to Hasibuan: job performance, responsibility, discipline, honesty, and teamwork. The findings indicate that KPU Secretariat staff carried out their duties in alignment with these indicators, although several technical challenges were encountered. The election schedule was implemented according to the planned timeline, and inter-staff cooperation was notably high. Therefore, the staff's performance is categorized as effective and contributed significantly to the successful execution of the Pilkada in Bengkulu City. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the importance of professionalism and accountability among election administrators as a foundation for local democratic governance.

Abstract

The Community Service Activity (PKM) was carried out by a lecturer in the Public Administration Study Program at DEHASEN BENGKULU UNIVERSITY in April 2022 in PAUD Gilang and PAUD Aiza, Kelobak Village, Central Bengkulu Regency. This activity aims to improve the ability of teachers in completing learning administration through the use of the Merdeka Teaching Platform (PMM) as part of the implementation of the Merdeka Learning policy. The main problems faced by the two PAUD institutions are the limitations of digital literacy, the not optimal filling in administrative documents in PMM, as well as lack of technical assistance in the management of digital -based administration. The method of implementing activities includes the preparation, training and technical assistance stages, evaluation, and reflection of the results of the activity. The approaches used are participatory and applicative, with direct guidance in making accounts, filling in data, and uploading learning documents such as daily activity plans (RKH), journal activities, and child development reports. Activities results show significant increases in the ability of teachers in operating PMM and completing digital learning administration documents. In addition, this activity succeeded in fostering awareness of the importance of orderly administration, efficiency of document management, and accountability of educational institutions. This activity also strengthens the synergy between universities and basic educational institutions in supporting digital transformation of education in rural areas.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia (SDM) adalah pusat dari semua jenis organisasi, dan visi serta tujuan mereka semua dirancang untuk membantu mereka mencapai tujuan tertentu. Di antara sumber daya lainnya, sumber daya manusia (SDM) memainkan peran yang sangat penting dan strategis. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui, memberikan informasi serta menjelaskan secara empiric dan konseptual hubungan antaraPpsychological Capital dengan Work Engagement pada karyawan PT. Jakabaring Sport City. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dimana penelitian tersebut menggunakan pengambilan data di dalamnya. Teknik yang digunakan peneliti untuk mengambil data yaitu menggunakan angket berupa skala Work Engagement dan skala Psychologycal Capital. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti mengenai hubungan antara Work Engagement dan Psychologycal Capital yang melibatkan 78 karyawan PT. Jakabaring Sport City. Hasil hitung statistik menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara Work Engagement dan Psychologycal Capital pada karyawan PT. Jakabaring Sport City. Analisis ini dilakukan menggunakan regresi sederhana. Hasil tersebut dapat dilihat dari nilai koefisien korelasi R = 0,805 dengan nilai R Square = 0,648 dan P = 0,000 Nilai Korelasi (r2) antara Work Engagement dan Psychologycal Capital yaitu sebesar 0,648 atau 64,8%. Sementara itu 35,2%  dipengaruhi olehvariabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam peneliti.
