Abstract

Abstrak Analisis ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran rinci tentang puisi “Hujan Bulan Juni” karya Sapardi Djoko Damono dengan menggunakan teori semiotika Charles Sandiers Peirce ditinjau dari tanda-tanda yang terdapat pada puisi. Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis ini adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik baca tulis berdasarkan analisis isi keseluruhan puisi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan mengklasifikasi, mendeskripsi, menganalisis dan menginterpretasi tanda-tanda pada puisi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa terdapat beberapa tanda yang dapat ditemukan dalam teori semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce yakni, Pertama, Simbol dalam puisi ini mengacu pada penggunaan kata yang memiliki makna sangat dalam. Misalnya, “hujan” dapat menjadi simbol dari kerinduan, atau nostalgia. Kedua, Ikon dalam puisi ini merujuk pada penggambaran situasi yang ada dalam kenyataan. Misalnya, deskripsi bunyi gemericik hujan menggambarkan ikonik dari hujan itu sendiri. Ketiga, Indeks dalam puisi ini merujuk pada tanda-tanda yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan atau kaitan dengan sesuatu. Misalnya, hujan yang turun pada bulan Juni dapat menjadi indeks dari musim penghujan atau suasana tertentu yang terkait dengan bulan tersebut. Kata Kunci: Sastra, Puisi, Semiotika, Karya, Prosa. Abstract This analysis aims to provide a detailed description of the poem "Rain in June" by Sapardi Djoko Damono using Charles Sandiers Peirce's semiotic theory in terms of the signs found in the poem. The method used in this analysis is descriptive method. The data collection technique was carried out by reading and writing techniques based on the analysis of the contents of the entire poem. Data analysis techniques were carried out by classifying, describing, analyzing and interpreting the signs in poetry. Based on the results of the analysis it is known that there are several signs that can be found in Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic theory namely, First, the symbol in this poem refers to the use of words that have very deep meanings. For example, "rain" can symbolize longing, or nostalgia. Second, the icon in this poem refers to the description of a situation that exists in reality. For example, the description of the sound of rain describes the icon of the rain itself. Third, the index in this poem refers to signs that indicate a relationship or connection with something. For example, the rain that falls in June can be an index of the rainy season or a certain mood associated with that month. Keywords: literature, poetry, semiotics, work, and prose.

Abstract

This study was conducted to address the challenges of enhancing student motivation and engagement in news text analysis learning at SMPN 1 Telaga by utilizing gamification through the Genial.ly platform. The study describes the implementation of gamification in news text analysis learning using the Genial.ly platform in class VII at SMPN 1 Telaga, as well as students' responses to this approach. The method used is qualitative descriptive, with data obtained from observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that 85.71% of students achieved learning mastery. The implementation of interactive quizzes and a points system successfully created a dynamic learning environment, improving student motivation, participation, and understanding. Although there were technical challenges, the implementation was effective in increasing engagement. Adjustments to the method based on student feedback are necessary for more optimal learning outcomes in the future.
